Tsuru-so Inn: Takezaki Crab and Japanese Sake

I took a spontaneous solo trip. The Room was unique, but it was truly the perfect size for one person—an ideal place to switch off and just spend time alone. I made a Reservation with a Plan that did not include crab to save money, but the buffet selection was so substantial that I was completely satisfied even without crab. Above all, my main goal was drinks, and the all-you-can-drink option with a variety of sake was simply great—I enjoyed several types of Saga sake paired with the food. For a solo trip focused on enjoying alcohol, this will be my only choice from now on.Since it’s reasonably priced without crab, I’ll be back. This time I checked in at the last minute and couldn’t use the sauna, so next time I’ll arrive earlier and enjoy the sauna before savoring the drinks and food.

We have stayed here with a group of five for three consecutive years. They kindly picked us up at Hizen-Oura Station and also drove us back to the station when we left, which was very helpful. We were also happy to enjoy local ingredients in a buffet style. We even got to try Takezaki crab.
