We stayed in the new wing. It has been renovated, including the plumbing, and was very clean. The amenities were also well stocked, with separate toiletries for men and women, non-silicone shampoo, disposable slippers, and more. Since it wasn’t during a long holiday period, the guests were calm and it was nice and quiet. The food was good—breakfast and dinner were both tasty, and the bread was delicious as well. However, the baguette wasn’t great. The service was good overall. The only thing I would like them to stop is bringing plates while wearing rubber gloves in colors like light blue or black—it ruins my appetite. If gloves must be worn, white cloth gloves are the only acceptable option. This was my first time being served food with rubber gloves outside of a ramen shop recently, so I was very surprised. If this is for infection control measures, I would prefer staff to wash their hands thoroughly instead. Without serving food while wearing rubber gloves, this would be 5 stars.

We chose this Hotel for the final stop of our trip, and the new Room, with its simple yet stylish interior and spacious bath, helped us forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Both dinner and breakfast were truly delicious, and you could tell they were carefully prepared. The presentation was not overly flashy but tasteful, and we were very satisfied. Perhaps because everything was so well cleaned, the stately atmosphere of the classic building stood out even more, and simply being in places like the lobby or restaurant lifted our spirits. My husband’s birthday is coming up soon, so I mentioned it in advance; even so, we were deeply moved to receive a message on the dessert plate. For us as an older couple, your heartfelt hospitality made this a memorable trip. We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff who assisted us.
