Auberge of the Little Forest - Clarisse of the Flower Forest

This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.

The best part was that, as an auberge, the food was outstanding—both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. It was my girlfriend’s first time drinking wine, and she was delighted with how tasty the muscat wine was. The service was excellent, and the Room felt clean and comfortable throughout our stay. I also really appreciated that you contacted us promptly after checkout about an item we had left behind.One small downside: I’m not great with heat, but during the day the Room temperature didn’t drop easily. We were happy to have a spacious Room with great sunlight, but even with the air conditioner on full power it stayed warm during the day, so I felt a higher-capacity unit would help. Since it was a hot season and the garden was wonderful, I think we could have relaxed even more if we could cool down comfortably in the Room after spending time outside.Also, because there is a garden and an open-air bath, insects are unavoidable—but for guests who dislike bugs, this season may be a bit tough. My companion hates insects and couldn’t use the open-air bath, which was disappointing. I’d be happy if you could add more measures such as insect repellent; especially at night when bugs gather around lights. It would have been nice to have repellent or tools to help drive them away.Overall it’s an Accommodation I’d love to use again—just a few improvements would make it even better. I’m very satisfied overall and would definitely recommend this Accommodation.
