    This is my favorite Accommodation: the well-maintained interior always helps me feel refreshed both body and mind in the Room’s open-air bath, and I can enjoy a French course dinner in casual attire. I will definitely stay again.

  • Overall, I’m satisfied, but there were a few areas that felt like missed opportunities.

    The best part was that, as an auberge, the food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner, and the portions were very satisfying—truly wonderful. It was my girlfriend’s first time drinking wine, and she was delighted, saying the muscat wine was very delicious. The service was flawless, and the Room was clean and comfortable to stay in. I also really appreciated that you contacted us promptly after checkout about an item we had left behind.One small area for improvement: I’m not great with heat, but during the daytime the Room temperature didn’t drop easily. I was happy that the Room was spacious with great sunlight, but even with the air conditioner set to maximum it still didn’t cool down much during the day. I felt a unit with higher kW capacity would be better.Since it was a hot season and the garden was wonderful, I think we could have relaxed even more if we could cool down comfortably in the Room after spending time outside.Also, because there is a garden and an open-air bath, insects are somewhat unavoidable—but for those who dislike bugs, this season may be a bit tough. My companion hates insects and couldn’t use the open-air bath, which was disappointing. We would be happy if there were a bit more insect control measures in place. Especially at night when bugs gather around lights—it may be difficult—but it would have been nice to have insect repellent or tools to help keep them away.It’s an Accommodation we’d love to use again; even small improvements would make it even better. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend this Accommodation.

    As autumn deepens in Izu Kogen, Halloween arrives at “Hana no Mori Clarisse.”

    From September 17 to October 31, the Clarisse Garden transforms into a Halloween-only setting. Under clear autumn skies and dappled sunlight, enjoy a photogenic daytime garden decorated with seasonal flowers and pumpkins.

    With the Halloween-only Plan, we will serve one “Halloween Original Cocktail” per guest at dinner.

    This two-layer cocktail blends beautiful purple and orange hues and offers a fruity taste with sweet-and-tart juice aromas. Enjoy a refined autumn getaway with your loved one, along with a stroll through our garden that shines in natural light.
