Inishie no Yado Ikyu (Kyoritsu Resort)

This was my first visit to Ise Grand Shrine, and I chose this inn because I truly wanted to attend an early-morning worship.I was able to stay in a special room, and the amenities and hair dryer were excellent. With complimentary drinks and alcohol available freely, it made for a very satisfying stay.There is also a private entrance exclusively for guests of the special room, so coming and going for the early-morning visit was very smooth, allowing me to have a truly moving experience at the shrine.My departure time in the morning suddenly became earlier than planned, but they quickly arranged a taxi for me, which was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much.When I visit Ise Grand Shrine again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary.Thank you very much for your thoughtful consideration regarding the room upgrade!We had high expectations since it had just been renovated, and it absolutely lived up to them. The entire property was clean, stylish, and comfortable.We also loved that the floors are tatami throughout, so you can walk around without slippers or shoes—it’s so easy and feels great.Both the large public bath and the open-air-style bath in our room were wonderful. Soaking while looking out at the greenery was incredibly relaxing.The welcome drinks and post-bath ice cream were a nice touch as well—this kind of hospitality is exactly what we love about Kyoritsu Resort properties.Since we were tired from walking so much, we really appreciated having a Nespresso machine in the room so we could enjoy a good coffee at our own pace.Every staff member was polite and pleasant, which made our stay truly enjoyable.When we asked how to get to places we wanted to visit, they gave us a map and explained everything while marking it with a red pen, so we didn’t get lost at all.When we asked about the stone steps location, they even guided us there in person—we were very grateful for such attentive service.Dinner and breakfast were both excellent; every dish was delicious.I’m sorry I couldn’t finish everything because I don’t eat much.Our server was especially cheerful and courteous—the most memorable part of our stay.When I said I was too full to continue, they kindly suggested that even just one bite would be enough but encouraged me to try something from Ise. I feel bad that I still left some behind after only a bite, but it was delicious and became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.We chose this inn because we wanted to visit early in the morning, and it’s about a 15-minute walk to Naiku (the Inner Shrine).The early-morning visit felt refreshing and serene—choosing this inn was definitely the right decision for that reason as well.Just two small points for future improvement:There wasn’t a clock in the room, so we had to check the time on our phones. It would have been nice to have a clock for quick reference.Our dinner time slot was 8:00 PM (the later seating), so we planned to bathe beforehand. After bathing I wanted to wear yukata but wasn’t sure if yukata were allowed in the dining area, so I changed into regular clothes—however many guests were wearing yukata. It would be helpful if guests could be told at check-in that yukata are acceptable.Overall, this was an extremely satisfying stay! If we come back to visit Ise again, we would love to stay here again.Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.
