This was my first stay since the COVID-19 pandemic. They upgraded our Room, and the service had improved wonderfully as well. I stay on the club floor every time, and I could feel the staff’s thoughtfulness in every detail, making my time comfortable both in the lounge and in the Room. The lounge food was delicious, and the Chinese cuisine at Hoshigaoka was also excellent. The Chinese tea in particular was outstanding—I wanted to buy some to take home, but it wasn’t available for sale, which was disappointing. I would like to stay again for next year’s vacation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. Although we arrived much earlier than check-in, our Room was ready, and we were even upgraded. The front desk staff were courteous, and we were impressed by the doorman’s thoughtful attention to detail. There was also a bonsai in the Room, which made for a calming and relaxing time. This is a wonderful Accommodation where we would love to stay again on our next visit to Tokyo.

I stayed one night in a Deluxe King room by myself. All of the hoteliers were very kind and happily responded to my questions and requests, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The view from the Room was so beautiful that I could have watched it forever, and I instantly changed my plans and decided to spend the day relaxing inside the Hotel. Since I live far away, if I ever need Accommodation in Tokyo again, I will choose this place. I can confidently recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

This stay had the best housekeeping. I’m very satisfied. The shower curtain in the bathroom smelled, so bath time required a bit of patience. At the front desk, it depended on the person—some staff were unpleasant, though most were good. I think this is a Hotel with excellent housekeeping staff.

When staying in Tokyo, I often choose Hotel Monterey Akasaka for both business and leisure, and I always feel comfortable and at ease when staying in Akasaka. This time, I stayed for one night with a friend on a private trip. The entire Hotel has a calm atmosphere, the facilities are well maintained and clean, and once again I had a very comfortable stay. The Room was spotless and relaxing, which always gives me peace of mind every time I stay here. Above all, the staff were exceptionally courteous, making my experience pleasant from check-in throughout my stay. No matter when I visit, they welcome me warmly, and their thoughtful attention to detail is one of the reasons I like this Hotel so much. The location is also excellent—very convenient when I have plans around Akasaka—and after returning to the Hotel, it’s quiet and easy to unwind. It’s a Hotel that feels easy to use for both work trips and personal stays. Once again, I was able to relax comfortably and am very satisfied with my stay. In the past my husband usually made the Reservation(s), so this is my first time writing a Review. Thank you as always for welcoming me so kindly. I would love to stay here again whenever I visit Tokyo.

I chose this hotel for its large public bath, and it did not disappoint. The public bath was great, and the Room and bed were spacious; the desk was also generously sized, so I was very satisfied. The amenities are well stocked. It’s close to a subway station, making it very convenient. Having a 7-Eleven on the first floor is also handy and reassuring. I’ve already decided to stay here again next time.

It’s wonderful to find such a large garden in the heart of Tokyo. I was able to forget about everyday life and truly relax. There were so many international guests that it almost felt like being abroad. The staff were also very kind, and I had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

Stayed here to visit Jingu Stadium. It’s conveniently located near the station—Akasaka-mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line is within a 10-minute walk, and it’s just two stops to Gaienmae! The top-floor panoramic bath isn’t very large, but it was nice to be able to stretch out and relax. There was a mistake in settling the Accommodation fee at the front desk, which was a bit concerning. The parking was also inexpensive at 1,000 yen per night, which I appreciated.

The meals at the restaurant “Kado” were delicious, and we really enjoyed them. It was also very helpful that we could request both the morning and evening newspapers. They deliver them early, too—especially the morning paper, which is great since we like to read it carefully from early in the morning. These days, many Hotels no longer offer newspapers, so this service is truly valuable. We sometimes choose where to stay for that reason alone. Thank you as always for your kind hospitality.

I stayed in a single room (No Meals Included). It was clean and had everything I needed. The unit bath was a bit small and old, but it was clean so it didn’t bother me. There’s a convenience store right in front, and there’s also Starbucks and Seijo Ishii downstairs at Akapuri. I’d like to stay again.

This was my first time staying here. They kindly stored my luggage even before check-in, so I was able to fully enjoy both sightseeing and a live show. It’s a dormitory, but it feels like a private Room without a lock. It was the most spacious dormitory I’ve stayed in so far. There are separate areas for women and men; while each person’s space is limited, there’s also a TV and a shared suitcase storage area. The bath was great too. The location is convenient and the price is just right. I’d like to stay here again when I go to another live show.

It was very efficient and nice overall. The only issue was that I couldn’t figure out how to operate the air conditioner at first, but I eventually found the controls on the bed’s headboard. The large public bath was great.

The Onsen was crowded, but it felt wonderful. There were also various L’Oréal oils available, which was a nice touch when blow-drying. The Room felt clean. The window blinds wouldn’t fully close to the bottom, so the morning sun was a bit bright at bed level, but overall it was a convenient Hotel with great access for getting around and sightseeing.

This was a wonderful Hotel just steps from Hanzomon Station. It was very quiet and close to the Imperial Palace. The Room was spacious enough, and I could relax comfortably. I would like to stay here again.

I used the Hotel for a day stay due to work. It is conveniently located close not only to Hanzomon Station on the subway, but also to Kojimachi Station. The Room was quiet, so I was able to work at a relaxed pace, which was very helpful. It was also convenient to have a wired LAN connection, which is becoming less common in recent Business Hotels, as it provides stable internet access.

Located right in the heart of Akasaka, I was able to stay comfortably without any inconvenience for dining or daily needs. The building is old, but it has been nicely renovated so it didn’t bother me. The lack of an auto-lock entrance may require some caution. The washing machine is very useful for guests on a Multiple Night Stay.

The natural and friendly response from the front desk staff was reassuring. The Room was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. Although you kindly assisted me with membership registration, it has not been completed yet. I will continue with the registration process; thank you again in advance!

I used it for a day-use stay. This is one of my repeat visits, and I love this Hotel because it is quiet, clean, and spacious. There are two sinks in the bathroom, and the size of the shower room and bathtub offers a level of luxury not found in other hotels. Considering its prime location in Akasaka, the price is also reasonable, and there are many time slot options for day-use stays, making it very convenient. This time, I was upgraded as a courtesy from the Hotel, for which I am truly grateful. Highly recommended Hotel!

I stayed here for 20,000 yen, hoping it would be worth it for my certification exam. Check-in was done by entering information on a tablet placed in front of mannequins. Although I selected "Japanese" as the language at the beginning, messages kept appearing in English. I proceeded by guessing and managed to sign using my finger when I couldn't find a stylus pen. After completing the input, nothing happened until an employee appeared from a side door and guided me verbally. I was directed to another machine to pay the Tokyo accommodation tax of 200 yen in cash, though I wished everything could have been settled by card. The coin slot on this machine was hard to locate until the same employee pointed it out for me. It made me appreciate human receptionists more than ever. The mannequins standing at reception did nothing helpful; they seemed out of place and gave off an Osaka-style vibe despite being located in central Tokyo (Akasaka branch). While some families checking in nearby seemed amused by them, I thought fully automating with high-tech machines might have been a better direction than placing these figures. Breakfast was included with my stay and served buffet-style at an Irish pub on the first floor. The menu was simple but delicious. The room felt like a standard business hotel room equipped with newer facilities such as a suit cleaner—likely targeting business travelers—but I didn’t use it myself. The air conditioning noise or toilet water refilling sound didn’t bother me, making for a comfortable stay overall but nothing extraordinary. Even with discounts applied, 20,000 yen felt expensive—probably due to timing and location factors. Thank you for hosting me!

Second use in two months. Coincidentally, it was the same Room as last time. I was able to relax with the familiar feeling of the place. I also like the breakfast where you can choose between Green Spoon soup or smoothie.
