I traveled with my mother in her 80s. The staff, the meals, and the baths—everything exceeded our expectations. My mother was very happy too. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and they made sure the meals didn’t repeat, and everything was delicious. If I had one request, since it was a hot summer, I would have appreciated a refrigerator with a freezer compartment to freeze ice packs (it was refrigerator-only).

I stayed here three times in one year. It’s my favorite Accommodation, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful stay in a quiet location. The hostess and her husband are so friendly and warm, and I looked forward to every visit. The food is always truly delicious. This time I stayed for two nights, and I was deeply impressed by how thoughtfully they changed the dishes each day. Waking up early to watch the sunrise over the sea was also wonderful! The shared spaces were kept clean and comfortable as well. After traveling around Ehime Prefecture over the past year, choosing this place again at the end was absolutely the right decision. Recently, I stayed here with my parents and my daughter and her husband. Our Room had a modern Japanese style, and we were truly moved by the panoramic view of the Sea of Japan from the Room. The water was so clear that we could have watched it forever. At night, we could see dozens of lights out on the dark sea—perhaps from squid fishing boats—and it was absolutely beautiful. The large public bath also faces the sea, and we really enjoyed soaking for a long time in the open-air bath while taking in the view. We chose the deluxe Plan for dinner. Everything was wonderful—from steamed dishes we had never tried before to mackerel shabu-shabu—but the grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) with salt was outstanding. Some Ryokan serve nodoguro, but it is often small; here it was surprisingly large. Since it was my husband’s birthday, I consulted with you in advance about arranging a surprise cake. From our messages beforehand through to the day itself, you handled everything so thoughtfully, and I’m very grateful. My husband was delighted, and we were able to celebrate with big smiles all around. Thank you again. If there’s one regret, it’s that we only stayed one night. It felt like an Accommodation that deserves at least two nights, so next time I hope to book a Multiple Night Stay! Lastly, I rated the Facility as 4 because there are some older areas here and there—for guests who might be concerned about that. However, it didn’t bother us at all during our stay, and we had no issues whatsoever.

All the staff were kind, and the Accommodation was not too large, making it easy for my elderly parents to get around. We were able to use the second-floor lounge many times, and it was great that the dining area was also close by. The Room was clean, bright, spacious, and very relaxing. All of the meals were delicious. When there are a lot of people in the bath, it can feel a bit small, but it wasn’t a problem. From our first phone call to the very end, the staff were gentle and I think that really enhanced how wonderful this Accommodation is. I would love to stay again.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. The excellent coffee is proof of your attention to detail. Above all, the hospitality of every staff member supported an unforgettable stay. I stopped by the thermal spring around checkout time, but the sidewalk had become so hot in the sun that it was impossible to walk on. It’s better to go after late afternoon. Next time, I’ll enjoy it with a Multiple Night Stay. Personally, I love Hawaii, and having a beer alone on the balcony at dawn is pure bliss—but coffee while looking out over Ago Bay from my Room at Amanemu surpassed even that. I’ll be back.

It was a birthday trip to celebrate my friend. The cherry blossoms on the grounds were in full bloom, and the garden was beautifully maintained. Above all, the staff’s attentiveness was wonderful. I made a Reservation because the Accommodation offered an Italian dinner, a sand bath, and spacious Rooms with great views. The Room was large, had a wonderful view, and felt very clean. I also appreciated that the drinks in the refrigerator were free, including beer. There was a sand bath within the Facility, as well as a large public bath, plus one more Onsen area with indoor baths only. Inside the building there was so much to see—such as a shochu dojo, artworks, and exhibits about notable historical figures from Kagoshima—that we didn’t have enough time to take it all in. The garden was also vast and perfect for a walk. The Italian dinner was at a restaurant inside Denshokan; both the atmosphere and the food were excellent. Above all, every staff member was wonderful—this was truly an outstanding Accommodation. I would definitely like to stay again when I visit Ibusuki. Thank you very much for your hospitality. As an aside, I learned that this is also the venue for the Ryuo title match in shogi, which made me even more excited—I was moved to see where Sota Fujii sat and played.

The Room was very clean, and being able to watch Shinkansen trains from the high floor was a hit even with our grown-up kids. The bathroom with a separate washing area, unlike a typical unit bath, let us soak and relax without worrying about getting the surroundings wet, which was truly soothing. Everything at breakfast was delicious, and we fully enjoyed Nagoya specialties. Since the Hotel is directly connected to Nagoya Station, it’s perfect for leaving your luggage and going sightseeing—we’d like to come by Shinkansen next time.

We decided to take a family trip after seeing a YouTuber’s video. When you open the Room door, straight ahead is a fixed center window with an unobstructed ocean view. It’s a refreshing scene where the blue sea and blue sky feel as if they blend into one. For three of us, the staff prepared two beds plus a futon in the tatami corner. We rested very comfortably. The Onsen information explained that the source water is lukewarm, and that alternating between the mist sauna and the regular-temperature Onsen is effective, so we tried it. Dinner was a course meal. Because we made an all-inclusive Reservation, it applied during meals as well—we enjoyed wine and beer, of course, and even the apple juice was delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and we had freshly baked bread with olive oil. Breakfast was titled “Mom’s Breakfast,” and in the kitchen all of the women were working energetically. Having freshly cooked rice served straight from the pot was especially delicious. There was also a morning yoga class, which we joined. Even though it was mostly gentle poses, I sweated an incredible amount during the lesson. And after loosening up comfortably, it was time for another dip in the lukewarm source Onsen! The lounge offered sake tasting and a coffee machine as well, and for late-night snacks we had curry. There’s actually no TV in the Room, but we didn’t miss it at all. An aroma set with a wood-themed design was provided in our Room too, which also felt very relaxing. The Facility throughout the building was spotless. You can choose from samue loungewear, pajamas, or T-shirts for indoor wear—many guests paired pajama bottoms with a T-shirt as their outfit around the property. I kept thinking “I want to go again!” but since it takes five hours by car from our home, we won’t be able to visit for a while. Still, this is an Accommodation I’d love to return to. The Room was spacious, and the bath and toilet were separate. The amenities were well stocked. There were also bath salts, so I was happy to be able to relax in the bath. The ocean is right in front of you. If the weather had been good, we would have enjoyed the beach, but with a typhoon approaching we couldn’t go outside, which was disappointing. The sound of the waves at night was also quite loud. We chose our dinner time at check-in. Breakfast can be taken at any time during the service hours, but seating seems to be first-come, first-served and it can get crowded depending on the time. There was a wide variety of breakfast dishes, which was great. Please note that the parking spaces and lanes are narrow, so extra care is needed.
