My daughter, who lives far away, was able to come home during the holiday, so we stayed on 9/20 during Silver Week. At first, we had made a Reservation at another Hotel because we planned to go grape picking in Fukushima and then travel to Morioka. However, with the typhoon making the weather uncertain, we kept considering a closer plan until the last minute. When an opening came up for a Room with an open-air bath, we quickly made a Reservation here. Since our family travels entirely by car, changing our schedule gave us extra time. We arrived early and planned to take a walk nearby, and the parking staff kindly recommended some spots for us. The footbath was very relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room does not have a washing area, but it wasn’t an issue—washing first at the large public bath or using the indoor bath in the Room was enough. Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style. When traveling as a family of four, we usually choose Accommodations with buffets, so we truly appreciate Itoen Hotel for its reasonable pricing. Some people have various opinions about the food, but if you search under the same conditions (a Room with an open-air bath), most places cost about twice as much or more than Itoen Hotel. If you’re dissatisfied, it simply means you should increase your budget. The Tsukimi Fair set dishes and—during Silver Week—the bluefin tuna and roast beef sushi were especially popular. The ramen was also delicious; since this is Fukushima, perhaps it had a Kitakata-style soup? Our family was very satisfied. Because of the typhoon’s impact, we decided to relax at the Hotel. We enjoyed soaking in the Onsen many times, eating until we were full, winning prizes in the game corner arcade area, and having fun playing table tennis—it was a wonderful stay. Since I made this Reservation in such haste, I caused trouble due to my own mistake. Also after checking out and leaving, my daughter realized something important to her was missing. When we turned back and returned to the Hotel staff immediately told us it had been found at the shop counter—this truly helped us so much. Thank you very much for your kind assistance. Lastly I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone—the person who handled my call regarding my mistake during Reservation booking as well as all staff at reception front desk parking restaurant shop housekeeping and throughout this Hotel. The natural Onsen spring water was available and very relaxing. The washing area also had ReFa showerheads, and the fine bubbles made washing my face feel great. The cake buffet was enjoyable as well, with cakes and Japanese sweets such as arare rice crackers and mitarashi dango, plus many kinds of drinks.

Both the Room and the front desk were very clean. Since I could use Upopo-no-Yu by myself, it was very comfortable! Compared to Dormy Inn in Otaru, the breakfast selection is smaller, but everything was delicious and I was satisfied. At night, you can also have the late-night soba, and it’s also appealing that you can get a cup of instant noodles for those who couldn’t eat it.

I stayed here for a friend’s birthday. The food was delicious, and the place was spacious and wonderful! Above all, the Onsen had a great variety, was clean, and helped me feel refreshed! However, it was a bit disappointing to find some hair in the Room and one of the lights wasn’t working. Other than that, I had a really great stay! Thank you very much! Next time I come back, I’d like to stay in a larger Room!

Compact yet fully equipped. Thoughtful attention to detail made possible by its intimate size. I felt a warmth you won’t find in a large Hotel. I was impressed by how well designed the bath area is—the atmosphere feels completely different at night and in the morning. I will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

Thank you for taking care of us during the Obon holiday period. The Accommodation is old, but it was kept very clean inside. The private bath was also very spacious and nice. What was disappointing was the way the meals were laid out and how cramped the space was. There was no space to set down a tray, so we couldn’t even use seasonings, and it was inconvenient to place small plates; I’d like to see some improvement. There wasn’t much soy sauce available either, and it seemed we had to wait in a long line just to get soy sauce on our plates. The display layout also made items hard to pick up—for example, udon next to ice cream—so everything felt scattered. It’s a shame because everything else was good.

We stayed here as a couple in our early 50s. The Accommodation was spotless down to every corner, and we had a very comfortable stay. [Room & Bath] The Room with an open-air bath had truly breathtaking views, and we enjoyed the bath three times—after arrival, before bed, and again the next morning. The water temperature was a little on the lukewarm side, so it sometimes felt slightly chilly if we stayed in for a long time, but it was still very relaxing. We also appreciated the spacious wash area with a large mirror, which made getting ready in the morning very easy. [Dining] For dinner, we had the “HAKKO Yaki-Shabu Course.” The main yaki-shabu was exquisite—the meat practically melted in our mouths! The shiitake mushrooms and fried potatoes were also delicious, with carefully crafted flavors you wouldn’t normally get at home. We were fully satisfied all the way through to the ochazuke to finish and dessert. For breakfast, we enjoyed the “Onigiri Bento” while taking in the wonderful view. The portion size was slightly modest, but it was just right for us as a couple. The piping hot roasted green tea was rich and very tasty. We were also delighted by thoughtful touches such as complimentary mineral water—this is a wonderful Accommodation where we would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

The staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. All of the meals were delicious, and I was very satisfied! I will stay again.

While Marriott Hotels are often associated with polished service, perhaps because this is not a large-scale Hotel, the hospitality here was friendly and warm, and every staff member we interacted with had a wonderful smile. I’m sorry for the trouble we caused when my son’s Switch wouldn’t connect to the Wi-Fi. They even contacted a service provider to get it connected, and my son was truly grateful. The Room also felt very Hakuba—woody and simple, but exactly my taste. The ReFa shower head in the bath and the amenities were excellent as well. The meals were also incredibly elaborate and detailed; I was especially moved by the appetizer inspired by Hakuba’s scenery. I often can’t finish a full course meal, but this time I was able to enjoy every last bite. In winter, it seems we’ll be able to see a completely different landscape in many ways, so this is an Accommodation I’d love to revisit during ski season.

The Room was spacious, and both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. The bath was crowded, but still enjoyable. If I had to mention one drawback, it was a bit inconvenient that the shoe lockers and changing-room lockers required inserting a 100-yen coin, even though it is returned.

My spouse and I stayed for two nights. It was our first trip to the Nikko area, and we were really looking forward to it. Although One More Time Heart is on a plateau, it’s located partway up the mountain, and getting there was easy with no trouble along the way. The Room was a private two-story cottage, and both the indoor bath and open-air bath were wonderful—we used them many times. The meals were a luxurious course dinner and very delicious. The rice-grain bread and beef in particular were outstanding. It’s far from our home, but we would definitely like to stay again.

Traveling with my two lively daughters, I’m sure we caused some inconvenience at times, but this was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’re certain to return. Above all, the staff were outstanding!! From the warm welcome, everything—breakfast, the private Onsen, Suiran Delight, and the rickshaw Shuttle Service—became a wonderful memory. Our 10-year-old eldest daughter was truly moved and said she’ll definitely work hard so we can stay here every year (lol). We will be back again. Thank you very much.

The room was very clean and spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were delicious, and the large public bath and open-air bath offered both hotter and slightly warm options, making it easy to enjoy for extended periods. Despite being early September, cicadas were chirping, creating a nostalgic atmosphere to savor the end of summer while relaxing in the open-air bath. Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable experience!

When we arrived at Komaki Port, it was pouring rain and we were worried about what lay ahead, but the staff’s bright smiles instantly put us at ease. They gave us a detailed tour of the Accommodation, which truly impressed us. The open-air bath was challenging in the rain, but it turned into a unique experience we wouldn’t normally have, and that made it special in its own way. The food was more than we could finish, with outstanding quality, and there were many moments when the staff’s thoughtful care really moved us. The Room had just been renovated and was a very satisfying space. However, at night when using the Room’s open-air bath, we did notice insects being drawn to the lights. Seeing all the staff waving goodbye as we left made this an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

My flight arrived at Memanbetsu Airport at 18:30. I wanted to order dinner as well, but it seemed I would need to finish eating by 20:00, so I decided not to. Since nearby restaurants close early, I ended up having a convenience store bento for dinner. The Haseko Mart bento was really delicious. Highly recommended.

Free drinks at the lounge corner, the manga corner, sauna, stone spa, and buffet were all enjoyable. The showerhead in the bath was positioned high and angled, making it difficult to wash my hair without holding it, but I was satisfied with the water pressure and mist. I would like to stay at other hotels in the same group as well.

This was our first time staying at a Hotel in Tsunan with our dog. We used to stay in cottages with our children, but after we started keeping a dog, it was hard to visit Tsunan. Thanks to the pet-friendly Room and the new dog run, we were able to fully enjoy comfortable autumn days in Tsunan. The all-inclusive plan was also appealing, and comparing different types of Japanese sake was a lot of fun. Next time, we’d like to visit in winter for skiing and lanterns. Thank you very much.

We stayed at this Ryokan for my parents’ therapeutic hot-spring retreat. It’s a Ryokan that’s difficult to reach without a car, but it had a wonderful atmosphere. The staff were especially kind, and we truly enjoyed our stay. My elderly parents were delighted with the nostalgic Japanese-style room. There are many stairs inside the Accommodation, and my father, whose legs have started to weaken, had a bit of difficulty walking around the building. We had breakfast, and it was delicious Japanese food that left us completely full.

First of all, thank you to the front desk staff for your courteous service from check-in onward. I carefully checked the weather forecast and decided there would be no snowfall, then hurriedly planned a trip to my beloved Hida Takayama and Okuhida. After leisurely enjoying the old town streets, I headed to the Accommodation and arrived around dusk—only to see white flakes falling from the sky. In the end, it worked out perfectly. The early-morning Onsen was a stunning open-air bath with snow viewing and a softly lit winter landscape. With no wind, I was able to enjoy a quiet moment all to myself and Clear away my daily fatigue and stress. The indoor bath also had a lovely interior and atmosphere, was beautifully cleaned, and I enjoyed a full hour—completely satisfied. The Yakult drink service in the post-bath lounge was another thoughtful touch; I ended up having three. Breakfast afterward was outstanding for someone who loves Japanese food—I had three large bowls of rice first thing in the morning. Hoba miso, “tsukemono steak,” kombu rolls, simmered ganmodoki, steamed vegetables, miso soup with fried tofu… And as if that weren’t enough, I even finished off some special curry rice. Now I’m slightly nervous about my next regular checkup with my hemoglobin A1c likely going up… On the way home I did some light exercise by strolling around Takayama again: Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the Takayama Festival Float Exhibition Hall, Hiroshige’s baumkuchen shop, a cat café, and more. This is an Accommodation I’d like to visit again anytime in any season—and one I truly hope to stay at again. Next time I’d love to try dinner as well. When I noticed the interior (tatami flooring?), it felt familiar—then I realized it’s part of the same group as Hida Hanazato no Yu Takayama Ouan. Once again, it struck me as a wonderful concept: clean and beautifully Japanese in style. Thank you very much.

Most surprising of all was how delicious the meals were. After we were already full, they brought out dessert, and there was so much that we couldn’t believe it—very satisfying. Although the Facility is old, the food made everything OK. The lotus flowers next door were also in full bloom and very beautiful.
