Livemax Resort Kawamata Onsen

I stayed here as it had just opened in January 2026. The Room was beautifully renovated, and the large smart TV lets you watch YouTube and Netflix (account required). The digital clock also functions as a Bluetooth speaker, so you can enjoy music as well. The Onsen was excellent, with both an indoor bath and an open-air bath. Amenities were well stocked. The meals offered a great variety of seafood, including all-you-can-eat salmon roe. There were even salt-grilled trout and sweetfish. Staff regularly checked the buffet and quickly refilled items when they ran out. Breakfast also included all-you-can-eat salmon roe—you can even choose to make a seafood rice bowl in the morning. It was a wonderful Accommodation with great value for money.

This was the best Livemax I’ve stayed at so far. If you regularly use Livemax, you shouldn’t have any complaints.It’s pointless to compare it with other hotel chains that offer all-you-can-eat breakfast and dinner. If this is your first time at Livemax, please don’t write a Review.There was plenty of salmon roe, and the open-air bath had a wonderfully rustic feel—like a secluded hot spring deep in the mountains. The river flow was impressively dynamic.The Room was spacious, and the interior and Facility were new.
