It feels like a historic Hotel.It’s not new, but it isn’t overly ornate,and it feels clean.There’s no elevator, so you’ll need to take the stairs to your Room. The unit bath also has a step,so please note that it is not barrier-free.I’m not a fan of unit baths,but it seems there was an Onsen nearby, and I wish I had used it.Amenities are placed in the hallway,and you take what you need.I thought that was very efficient!Depending on the day, the dining area seems to turn into a wine bar.I wanted to check it out.I only added breakfast.The pork miso soup was bigger than expected!!Delicious, and more than enough for the morning!!When I go to Shiojiri again, I’ll stay here again.

I stayed alone but used a twin Room. The Room was clean. Amenities that are usually provided in the Room were placed on shelves in the hallway, and you take what you need to your Room. There is no elevator in this Facility. I only had a Boston bag and a backpack, so it wasn’t a burden, but going up and down the stairs while carrying a suitcase may be tough for some people. The air conditioner only had High/Medium/Low/Off buttons with no temperature control, and it was hard to tell if it was running. I also couldn’t really feel much airflow, so I left it on High while sleeping, but woke up in the middle of the night due to loud noise from the airflow. It didn’t feel cold, but clearer instructions would have been helpful. The walls between rooms seem thin. You can’t clearly hear sneezing or voices, but you can hear vibrations from them and sounds like water running in the bathroom. If this bothers you, bring earplugs. If I were to rate it, I’d give it 4 out of 5 points. It is definitely not unsatisfactory.
