Hot Spring for Beautiful Skin

After sightseeing in Matsue, I visited Tamatsukuri Onsen for the first time. The slightly hot water was abundant and left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. Although there weren’t many types of baths, I was satisfied. There were no towels with the Ryokan name on them among the amenities, but being able to use a fresh dry towel each time was better than bringing a wet one back to the Room. The meals also featured delicious local Shimane specialties, and I really enjoyed them. The semi-private setting made it comfortable as well. It might be even better if the morning coffee machine were a type that grinds beans before brewing! (I gave 4 stars with hopes for next time...) Both the garden and the interior made me feel truly pampered. Everyone who assisted us—from the parking lot onward—was polite and wonderful. There was also a face Onsen in an area like the footbath space (soak a towel in Onsen water and apply it to your face), and it was fantastic! Definitely great for beautiful skin!
