The building, interior, and fittings felt quite dated and reminiscent of the bubble era, but everything was kept very clean. The Room was spacious, and two of us were able to use it comfortably. We stayed one night during extreme heat, but the air conditioning worked very well—if anything, it was almost chilly. Amenities were limited to the basics, but we didn’t have any issues. Perhaps because it was a weekday (and there aren’t many guest Rooms to begin with), the property was quiet and the large public bath wasn’t crowded either, so our stay was comfortable throughout. One thing: although Yahoo Travel listed checkout as 11:00, we were told on-site that it was 10:00. That was unexpected—was it a listing error? We thought we’d be able to relax a bit longer, so that part was disappointing.

I had wanted to stay here for a long time. The Room was spacious and very clean, with a great view. The meals were delicious, and since the restaurant is large, even at the buffet there was no congestion when serving food, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. The Onsen was wonderful, the Shuttle Service was courteous, and all the staff were kind with excellent hospitality. It’s also great value for money, so we were very satisfied. We would like to make this our regular Accommodation in Atami. Thank you very much.

I visited with friends. I loved the interior, and I was completely satisfied with everything, including the bedroom. The sunrise views from the living room and bedroom were especially amazing, and we had a wonderful start to the day. Facilities & Surroundings There are very few shared Facilities, and the overall layout is compact. There isn’t much to do within walking distance nearby, so it felt difficult to go out without a car. Room The Room isn’t especially spacious, but it has the basic essentials. It feels more like a vacation home than a Hotel, with a noticeable “home-like” atmosphere for better or worse. Some details also feel cost-conscious in design, which may come down to personal preference. Onsen There is only an open-air bath, but it was enough to enjoy during the stay. Service Rather than the polished service you might expect from typical Hotel staff, the operation felt relatively casual. If you’re expecting luxury-Hotel-level professionalism and hospitality, it may feel different from what you imagine. Dining The cuisine is French-inspired and makes good use of local ingredients; overall, everything was delicious. That said, in the latter courses it felt less about premium ingredients themselves and more about creatively finishing dishes with comparatively lower-cost items. Considering the restaurant on its own, my satisfaction level felt around JPY 20,000 per person. Overall Review While the dining was excellent, considering this as “staying as an overnight guest,” I felt the price was somewhat high when factoring in the Room and overall Facilities. On the other hand, if viewed more like usage rights or a membership-style Accommodation rather than a standard Hotel stay, your perspective may differ. Overall, this seems better suited for those who want to enjoy quiet surroundings along with dining and an Onsen experience than for those seeking a distinctly luxurious getaway or highly attentive service.

I stayed here at the end of 2025. This accommodation, carefully crafted by a travel-loving couple, feels like a hidden retreat for adults. As the facility is relatively new, it seems not widely known yet, but every detail—from the room layout and furniture to amenities and lighting—reflects thoughtful design. The spacious and quiet environment made for an incredibly comfortable stay. The open-air bath was particularly outstanding, offering such comfort that I found myself wanting to take multiple dips while enjoying fresh air breaks in between. The sauna is also available, allowing guests to relax privately without worrying about others. Meals are not provided, and while it’s located slightly away from the center of Yugawara, this adds to its charm as a serene escape where you can truly forget daily life and indulge in the luxury of doing nothing in this hidden retreat-like space.
