I stayed for one night for a concert. The upgraded Room was very comfortable, and they also arranged for my friend to be in the next Room. At breakfast, I enjoyed a variety of Niigata specialties—of course the rice was delicious—and there were even some pickles I’d never tried before, so I ended up eating a lot from the morning. The service was excellent as well. It’s a bit far from the station, but that made it quiet and relaxing, which I really appreciated. Next time I come to Niigata, I’d like to stay at Hotel Nikko again.

My family and I stayed here to attend a performance at a nearby hall. It’s a little far from Niigata Station, but since we were driving it wasn’t an issue, and the affiliated parking lot was right next door, which was very convenient. The staff frequently checked in with us, and they were kind and helpful with our questions, which made us feel at ease. I especially recommend the breakfast, which offers a great selection of local specialties made with regional ingredients. We could try small portions of many different dishes, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. On the day of our stay, we received an upgrade to a more spacious Room, which made it even more relaxing. Thank you very much. This time we stayed for one night for a specific purpose, but there are still many places we’d like to visit and plenty of great food to try, so we hope to return for a longer stay next time.

I stayed here for the first time to visit my mother in the hospital in Niigata. Many Hotels in Niigata feel quite dated, and after a lot of 고민 I chose this one for its great location. After getting off the Shinkansen, I could get around under cover no matter the weather, and having nearby shopping facilities was incredibly convenient and truly helpful. I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, but the Room was very clean. Since I stayed two nights, around 9:30 a.m. housekeeping knocked on my door and asked what I would like regarding cleaning, so I requested only towel replacement and water. Next to the front desk there were complimentary amenities available to take freely, from bath salts to skincare items, which really impressed me. There was also a microwave in the lobby, so I was happy to be able to warm up rice balls. Every staff member who assisted me was kind, courteous, and gentle. I had planned to stay one night, but my mother suddenly needed surgery and I asked to extend my stay; they kindly accommodated me, for which I am truly grateful. Whenever I go to Niigata, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

This was my second stay. Recently I had been staying mostly at Hotels directly connected to Niigata Station or close to the station, but I made a Reservation this time because I wanted to enjoy this breakfast buffet again after a long time. I was a little disappointed that there were fewer varieties of branded rice than before, but everything paired perfectly with rice and was very delicious. With three kinds of yogurt and four kinds of fruit, it was a very satisfying breakfast. The Room was also very clean and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

This was my second stay this year. It’s conveniently located near the station, with many restaurants nearby. The building looks a bit old from the outside, but it seems to have been renovated, and everything is very clean throughout. The breakfast venue staff were very kind and attentive. Breakfast featured many local dishes made with regional ingredients; everything was delicious, and I ate a lot. I was so full that I couldn’t try every item, but I’d like to recommend it to my family and friends. This time the Accommodation was quite affordable, and during this period we also received an additional discount through the Go To Travel campaign. Thank you for letting us stay at this price. I’d like to stay again.

APA Hotel & Resort is truly impressive. I was very satisfied with the baths, including an open-air bath and a bath you can enjoy while lying down. They even have a pool and a gym, which really caught my interest. I’d like to stay here again the next time I visit Niigata.

I’m satisfied because my regular shopping and dining spots are nearby, and the Hotel’s relaxing Facilities are also excellent.

I had heard the breakfast was delicious, so I looked forward to my stay, and it exceeded my expectations—both the quality and taste made me want to stay again. Thank you as well for your courteous service even though I arrived after the scheduled time. The air conditioning seemed to be centralized throughout the Hotel and not adjustable, but it was comfortable—neither too hot nor too cold. The Room I stayed in was also equipped with an extension cord and a trouser press, which were very useful. I had forgotten my extension cord at work, so I really appreciated being able to use one here. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

I was worried about the area around the station because of the heavy rain, but it was close to the bus stop and I arrived safely. Seeing the front desk staff made me feel relieved. As expected, the stone spa was very relaxing. I had been standing all day at work, but I felt better as if by magic—I’d like to stay again. Breakfast was delicious, and the menu selection was great. It felt like a mother serving home-cooked food to a child who has come back home after a long time, asking, “Are you eating your vegetables properly?” The rice was so good I wanted seconds. It’s a Hotel that made me want to stay again!

The service was attentive, and it was a great Hotel. Above all, the breakfast was excellent. One issue: the Room hair dryer was a small model, and it became very hot quickly when used, which felt unsafe. The inside of the hair dryer was also full of dust, so that was the only disappointing point.

I have stayed at Hotels all over The whole country, and Hotel Diamont Niigata had many thoughtful amenities I hadn’t found at other Hotels or Ryokan. 1) Towels: in addition to the standard face towel and bath towel, there were also a hand towel for drying hands and an extra face towel (or a body-washing towel). This made me the happiest. 2) Next to the toilet, there was a wall-mounted shelf where I could place clothes for changing, as well as makeup items, which made getting ready in the morning very comfortable. 3) There was also a hand mirror in the bedroom. 4) The staff were very kind and helpful. It made me happy to see that you may have incorporated feedback from younger women. If I may mention just one issue: I would like you to include on your website directions for arriving by car on festival days, including the name of the affiliated parking lot(s). Since my stay coincided with the festival day, cars were not allowed to enter near the Hotel, and it was difficult coordinating with both Hotel staff and festival security. I believe many guests face the same problem every year. I would appreciate it if you could consider this for next year. I would love to visit again when it gets cooler.

Of the five Accommodations I stayed at on this trip, this one was the cheapest yet the best. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the Room had a calm atmosphere. Breakfast was included as a complimentary service, and everything—from chikuzen-ni to miso soup—was hearty and delicious. In any case, they had everything you could need, and I could really feel the owner’s hospitality. Thank you very much.

Free parking, and the view from the Room was quite nice. We stayed in a double Room, and it was clean and spacious, which was great. However, the bathroom and toilet are small. Also, there is a smoking area right outside the Hotel entrance/exit, and it smells. For non-smokers, I’d prefer it to be placed at a back entrance or somewhere with less foot traffic. It was unpleasant every time we passed by.

All staff are Japanese and very courteous. Their service is excellent, so you can feel at ease. The breakfast here is outstanding!

As bottled milk becomes harder to find, you can enjoy delicious Tsukada Milk here. I always look forward to it. Please promote it more to support local dairy farming.

I stay here every time I visit Niigata City. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and Hotaru is on the first floor, so it’s perfect—you can get back in seconds even after a few drinks!

My check-in time ended up being about four hours earlier than planned, so I called. The response was automated and said there was no need to contact them as long as it was before midnight. I was impressed that even such a detailed matter could be handled by an automated system. We stayed as a family of three. It was a twin room with an extra bed, but there was still plenty of space and it didn’t feel cramped. There were two sofa chairs and a vanity chair (also serving as an ottoman?), both stylishly upholstered with a nice, upscale feel. After reading Reviews, I was worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but although it shows its age, it was clean and I felt comfortable using it. Many Hotels these days provide bottled water in the room for each guest, but this one does not. There is a free paper-cup drink dispenser in the lobby for guests (coffee, green tea, and cold water), which is appreciated, but having water in the room would still be more convenient. (It did say the tap water in the washroom is drinkable, though...) Amenities are picked up in the lobby style, and they even had sunscreen, sheet masks, bath salts, and hair wax—by far the most well-stocked selection I’ve seen anywhere. Breakfast included local specialties like tare-katsu and Tochio fried tofu skin, and they were delicious. I tried tare-katsu for the first time at dinner the day before and loved it so much that I couldn’t believe I got to have it again right away at breakfast—such a pleasant surprise! The Vietnamese curry at the breakfast buffet was unusual and very tasty. I also really liked “roasted kale,” which I tried for the first time. I understand that staying on the last day of Golden Week may come with lower pricing settings, but with Hotel rates rising these days, this place felt almost too inexpensive—I honestly felt bad paying so little. Close to the station with an adjacent flat parking lot—nothing to complain about. I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Niigata.

Thanks to an early-booking deal, we were able to stay in a newly renovated Room on the 10th floor, so we enjoyed a luxury Hotel feel at Business Hotel prices. The bed was spacious and there was also a dining table. There were two sinks—one separate vanity and another bowl sink in the unit—which was very convenient for the two of us (my sister and me). For breakfast we chose the Japanese set meal; everything, including the small side dishes, was delicious, and we could relax while looking out over the Shinano River. From how lively the restaurant and lobby were, it felt like a long-established Hotel loved by locals. The only downside is that there are limited spaces in the underground parking lot, and even including outdoor parking it is often used by non-guests as well, so depending on your arrival time you may have trouble finding an available spot.

On the day we arrived, it was pouring rain, so we left our luggage at the Hotel first and took a taxi to the concert venue. Some roads were flooded, but we arrived safely. On the way back, the rain had stopped, but when we returned to the Hotel, most of the nearby izakaya were already closing for the evening. We picked up some items at a convenience store, chilled drinks in the fridge, and relaxed in the large public bath to unwind. We also took our time with a morning bath and felt refreshed! We tried a variety of breakfast items as well, and the local specialty yellow watermelon for dessert was especially delicious. Next time we stay in Niigata, we would definitely like to stay here again.

A perfectly standard Room with no issues. Personally, I was a bit disappointed there was only one pillow, but it’s a business hotel so that’s understandable. With breakfast included at this price and a great location, it worked very well for my needs on this trip.
