It’s located right in front of Obihiro Station, and the terminal where the airport bus stops is also just across the street. The building isn’t new, but it didn’t cause any issues, and the large public bath with Moor Onsen was great. The breakfast was also very delicious. The downside was that the Wi‑Fi connection was poor, so I had to use my mobile data.

Located near Obihiro Station and close to the nightlife district, this Hotel offers an excellent location where you’ll never have trouble finding food or drinks at night. The parking lot includes a multi-story facility and partnerships, making it perfect for those who wish to park their car and head out again. The lobby, front desk, Onsen, and guest rooms are all exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable stay. The Onsen features the famous moor hot spring water, which is a rare treat at this price point. Breakfast is served as a buffet packed with delicious specialties from the Tokachi region. Every dish was incredibly flavorful—truly impressive. Having visited Hokkaido multiple times before, I can confidently say that this Hotel offers some of the best cuisine in its price range. Additionally, when I contacted them later regarding forgotten items left behind during my stay, their response was extremely kind and thorough. Thanks to their attentive service, I was able to retrieve my belongings without disrupting my travel plans. This Hotel truly lives up to its name as a premier destination with outstanding rooms, dining options, and service—a perfect combination for any traveler!

I’m always grateful for Dormy Inn. Whenever I come to Obihiro, I stay at Dormy Inn Obihiro. The location is great, the staff are helpful, and I’m very satisfied. I was excited to be able to watch more than just terrestrial TV channels. This time I had a massage, and the therapist was very attentive and had a wonderful smile. I’m truly grateful.

The Room is new, spacious, and clean. I had a very comfortable stay. The welcome drink included beer, which was delicious. I would like to stay here again next time.

In every respect—service, rooms, cleanliness, and location—this is an outstanding Hotel. While many Hotels offer simplified service these days, it was wonderful to experience traditional Japanese hospitality here. The breakfast was delicious, made with locally sourced ingredients—so much so that I’d happily return to Hokkaido just for this Hotel. I was especially impressed by the milk tasting and the variety of cheeses. Since the bar closes early, I’ll check in earlier next time so I can enjoy it! Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here, and I was extremely satisfied! The size of the building felt just right, and I was able to relax comfortably in a calm atmosphere. The Onsen had excellent water quality, and every time I bathed it was soothing and truly refreshing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I was genuinely impressed. The staff’s warm hospitality and the well-equipped Room were also wonderful. I would definitely like to stay again next time. Thank you for a lovely time.

Return Visit Stayed for two nights a few years ago and was amazed by how incredible the Moor Onsen was. They even had our past stay history on record, which really showed their professionalism. At the time, we were a bit bothered by some odors in the Room and Onsen, so we “cheated” for a while with a newer Accommodation nearby (laugh). This time, we made a Reservation for a newly renovated Room. Bottom line: it was excellent! I’m not really into saunas, but I enjoyed it because you can adjust the temperature in various ways and even listen to music. There were plenty of towels, and bathrobes were provided as well. The only downside was that the open-air bath was slightly too hot. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. If they renovate more guest rooms, we will definitely stay again.

I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

I chose this Accommodation because I wanted to try the Moor Onsen. Just as rumored, it left my skin feeling smooth and was very relaxing. It’s also located in the center of town, making it convenient to go out for meals. Although it seems to be a long-established Accommodation, the Room has been renovated and was comfortable to stay in.

The staff were very attentive, the food was delicious, and it was a memorable Accommodation. The Onsen was excellent and very relaxing. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Tokachigawa Onsen.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I had a very comfortable stay. I had stayed here once a few years ago, and it felt like the Room and bath had been renovated, which I was very pleased with. Tokachi has so much delicious food, so I was happy to enjoy the Tokachi beef steak for dinner. The French toast at breakfast was also wonderful—I poured plenty of maple syrup over it, and it was especially delicious with a sprinkle of cinnamon. I would love to stay again!

Hokkaido Hotel, conveniently close to town and offering Tokachigawa Onsen, is one of my favorite places to stay. Although I am a repeat guest, it had been a while since my last visit, and I was truly impressed that the front desk staff remembered my name. It may be because I once hosted a 60th birthday celebration party at this Hotel, but the hospitality of the front desk staff—the face of the Hotel—was excellent. However, there was one point that left me slightly dissatisfied during the Japanese kaiseki dinner, so I could not give all 5s. That said, the follow-up from the floor manager afterward was outstanding. I am always grateful for your courteous service. I have already made my next Reservation as well.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

The necessary amenities were prepared in the room, which was reassuring. The location, twin room, service, Onsen, and breakfast were all comfortable at this Hotel. During our 4-night trip to Eastern Hokkaido, this was the most comfortable stay.

Although the hotel seemed fully booked during Golden Week, the service was attentive and well organized. There were numbered tickets for breakfast, but people appeared to come in regardless, so they didn’t seem to serve any purpose, which was a bit disappointing.

Ever since I found this Hotel, I haven’t stayed at any other Hotel in Obihiro. It’s a little away from downtown, so it’s quiet, but you can still walk into town, so there’s nothing to complain about. The Room feels a bit dated, but I have no complaints at all. The bathroom is spacious, and you can relax in a roomy bathtub. I’ll definitely stay here again.

New and very clean. Breakfast is unique (bento-style). Good value for money. The shower room bathtub was large, so I ended up filling it—very relaxing. One request: I wish the parking fee were shown more clearly (it looks like it might be free).

This was our last night’s stay on our trip to eastern Hokkaido, and even though it’s a Business Hotel, it has an Onsen, which we were able to enjoy at a relaxed pace despite its small size. It’s right in front of the station, with many restaurants nearby, and we found a great izakaya while taking a walk. Breakfast was also delicious, and I think we stayed at a reasonable price. Located just a short walk from Obihiro Station Bus Terminal, the access is excellent. The front staff were kind and welcoming, always greeting guests with phrases like "Have a nice day" as they passed by. Complimentary onsen bath salts were provided, allowing for a relaxing soak. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy. Thanks to booking several months in advance, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. One downside was that my room was right next to the elevator, so I could constantly hear the sound of it moving up and down through the walls (it sounded like a dryer). However, I still managed to sleep well due to being tired—the bed and pillows were comfortable. Requesting a room farther from the elevator in advance might have avoided this issue. On the other hand, breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, including meat dishes, steamed vegetables, and omelets. Adding more variety in bread (such as sweet Danish pastries) or desserts (like sweet potato treats unique to Obihiro) would enhance satisfaction even further. Overall, this is an excellent Hotel with high satisfaction levels—I would definitely choose it again for my next stay in Obihiro!
