I made a Reservation because it’s conveniently located near the station and has a large public bath. Due to JR service suspensions, I had to check out suddenly, but the staff handled everything smoothly. I was in such a rush that I left something behind, and they responded kindly and carefully. It was my first time trying a buffet-style breakfast, so I’m sorry I couldn’t make use of it. I’d like to stay again.

Located near Obihiro Station and close to the nightlife district, this Hotel offers an excellent location where you’ll never have trouble finding food or drinks at night. The parking lot includes a multi-story facility and partnerships, making it perfect for those who wish to park their car and head out again. The lobby, front desk, Onsen, and guest rooms are all exceptionally clean and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable stay. The Onsen features the famous moor hot spring water, which is a rare treat at this price point. Breakfast is served as a buffet packed with delicious specialties from the Tokachi region. Every dish was incredibly flavorful—truly impressive. Having visited Hokkaido multiple times before, I can confidently say that this Hotel offers some of the best cuisine in its price range. Additionally, when I contacted them later regarding forgotten items left behind during my stay, their response was extremely kind and thorough. Thanks to their attentive service, I was able to retrieve my belongings without disrupting my travel plans. This Hotel truly lives up to its name as a premier destination with outstanding rooms, dining options, and service—a perfect combination for any traveler!

The large public bath and complimentary late-night soba are always a highlight. We were very satisfied! We’ve made another reservation, and we look forward to staying with you again.

The Room is new, spacious, and clean. I had a very comfortable stay. The welcome drink included beer, which was delicious. I would like to stay here again next time.

We stayed here last year and had such a wonderful time that we definitely wanted to come back. This year, we chose our travel destination mainly because we wanted to stay at this Accommodation again, and it did not disappoint. Our Room had an indoor bath, but the open-air bath was so relaxing that we never even found time to use the indoor one (laughs). This is truly an Accommodation we want to return to again. In every respect—service, rooms, cleanliness, and location—this is an outstanding Hotel. While many Hotels offer simplified service these days, it was wonderful to experience traditional Japanese hospitality here. The breakfast was delicious, made with locally sourced ingredients—so much so that I’d happily return to Hokkaido just for this Hotel. I was especially impressed by the milk tasting and the variety of cheeses. Since the bar closes early, I’ll check in earlier next time so I can enjoy it! Thank you very much.

Return Visit Stayed for two nights a few years ago and was amazed by how incredible the Moor Onsen was. They even had our past stay history on record, which really showed their professionalism. At the time, we were a bit bothered by some odors in the Room and Onsen, so we “cheated” for a while with a newer Accommodation nearby (laugh). This time, we made a Reservation for a newly renovated Room. Bottom line: it was excellent! I’m not really into saunas, but I enjoyed it because you can adjust the temperature in various ways and even listen to music. There were plenty of towels, and bathrobes were provided as well. The only downside was that the open-air bath was slightly too hot. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. If they renovate more guest rooms, we will definitely stay again.

I stayed here at the end of my trip to Hokkaido. The places I stayed before were wonderful as well, but this Tokachigawa Onsen Daiichi Hotel was outstanding. Every dish at the buffet was delicious. I wanted to try more, but I got full and couldn’t eat everything, which I still regret a little. The kamameshi rice was especially good, and the meat was excellent too—in fact, everything I tried tasted great. When I went to the Onsen early in the morning (just after 5 a.m.), I saw staff baking bread. I had some at breakfast, and it was also very tasty. The moor Onsen had a gentle natural scent and a wonderfully silky feel on the skin; one night wasn’t enough. This time I couldn’t take my time sightseeing around Tokachi, so I would love to come back again next year. More than anything, what left me with such a great impression of the Hotel was an employee at the souvenir shop “Tamatebako.” The trainee wearing a training name badge had an amazing smile and provided excellent service. When I told them how pleasant they were, they responded with another lovely smile. Of course it comes down to personal qualities as well, but it also made me feel that the Hotel’s management philosophy must be excellent for staff like this to grow here. All of the other staff were wonderful too, and it reminded me that not only the Onsen and food but also people’s hospitality is what truly shapes a trip. Thank you for helping me make such great memories—I would like to stay again next year as well.

It was my first time experiencing Moor Onsen. Compared to other Onsen, it felt noticeably silkier (which made the benefits feel even more tangible), and the water temperature was not too hot—just right—so I ended up soaking for a long time. I was feeling a bit tired at dinner, and the staff were very attentive in many ways; I was truly impressed by their hospitality.

All the staff I interacted with (front desk, restaurant, and gift shop) had a great atmosphere—and their service was excellent as well. The food was delicious, and the all-you-can-drink plan included Sapporo beer. The Onsen was a comfortable size, and thanks to renovations a few years ago, the Room didn’t feel outdated at all. If I have the chance, I’d love to come again and stay here again.

The moment we entered the Hotel, it smelled wonderful. Although the Hotel is located in the city, the grounds were quiet. We could see squirrels and woodpeckers visiting the trees in the courtyard, which made our children very happy. Breakfast was great—the salad dressing was especially delicious. The Western-style set came with several kinds of bread, and we appreciated that paper bags were provided so we could take any leftovers with us.

Since there were no vacancies at other facilities, I made a Reservation. I wasn’t expecting much because it wasn’t a high-priced property, but the meals and the view from the restaurant were wonderful. However, the coffee machine used powdered milk and it tasted terrible. I’d like to visit again if I have the chance.

The necessary amenities were prepared in the room, which was reassuring. The location, twin room, service, Onsen, and breakfast were all comfortable at this Hotel. During our 4-night trip to Eastern Hokkaido, this was the most comfortable stay.

If I had to mention one thing, the Room shower pressure was a bit weak, but the location and price were great, so I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.

Although the hotel seemed fully booked during Golden Week, the service was attentive and well organized. There were numbered tickets for breakfast, but people appeared to come in regardless, so they didn’t seem to serve any purpose, which was a bit disappointing.

Ever since I found this Hotel, I haven’t stayed at any other Hotel in Obihiro. It’s a little away from downtown, so it’s quiet, but you can still walk into town, so there’s nothing to complain about. The Room feels a bit dated, but I have no complaints at all. The bathroom is spacious, and you can relax in a roomy bathtub. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Brand-new and truly flawless. The staff were courteous, and I was very satisfied with the complimentary breakfast. The bathroom was spacious. The building is well constructed, so it was quiet and I slept well. Even though there was a noisy festival outside. It felt like a completely different Hotel from the previous Alm.

Located just a short walk from Obihiro Station Bus Terminal, the access is excellent. The front staff were kind and welcoming, always greeting guests with phrases like "Have a nice day" as they passed by. Complimentary onsen bath salts were provided, allowing for a relaxing soak. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy. Thanks to booking several months in advance, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. One downside was that my room was right next to the elevator, so I could constantly hear the sound of it moving up and down through the walls (it sounded like a dryer). However, I still managed to sleep well due to being tired—the bed and pillows were comfortable. Requesting a room farther from the elevator in advance might have avoided this issue. On the other hand, breakfast options were plentiful and delicious, including meat dishes, steamed vegetables, and omelets. Adding more variety in bread (such as sweet Danish pastries) or desserts (like sweet potato treats unique to Obihiro) would enhance satisfaction even further. Overall, this is an excellent Hotel with high satisfaction levels—I would definitely choose it again for my next stay in Obihiro!

This was our last night’s stay on our trip to eastern Hokkaido, and even though it’s a Business Hotel, it has an Onsen, which we were able to enjoy at a relaxed pace despite its small size. It’s right in front of the station, with many restaurants nearby, and we found a great izakaya while taking a walk. Breakfast was also delicious, and I think we stayed at a reasonable price.
