It’s been a while, but this was our third visit. With prices rising these days, we arrived with both hope and a bit of worry—would it still feel as satisfying as before? Those worries disappeared the moment we arrived at the Accommodation. Being greeted in the parking area, the welcome drink in the lobby, and being escorted to our Room—every interaction was so pleasant that we immediately felt at ease. The interior remains simple and impeccably clean, which is always refreshing. At dinner, when I asked for tissues, they brought them together with a small trash container. I thought it was such a thoughtful touch—and even though breakfast was served in a different location the next morning, tissues had been prepared there as well. Everyone working at Nagomino is wonderful and attentive down to every detail. Our stay made us truly happy. Thank you very much—we would love to return again.

Before our stay, they kindly helped with various requests such as arranging taxis and pickups, and on the day they also assisted with ticket arrangements and an unexpected pickup during heavy rain—we truly appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. For dinner, we chose the teppanyaki course and enjoyed lively conversation along with delicious locally grown vegetables and meat. The Room also offered more than enough amenities, including coffee and other drinks.

It was a calm, classic Tokyu-style Hotel. Unfortunately, the clouds prevented us from seeing the Hakuba mountains, but we were able to relax quietly in the courtyard and the Onsen. The staff provided thoughtful, understated service, and both our Room and the facilities were kept very clean. Thank you very much.

This is a small Hotel with a warm, homey atmosphere. We were impressed by the thoughtfully prepared dinner and breakfast, creatively made with local mountain ingredients. Thank you very much.

We stayed for two nights with three families on a family trip to celebrate a retirement. This was our third stay, and we were a little worried this time because we were traveling with a baby, but the restaurant staff kindly accommodated our requests, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. The garden is always beautifully maintained, making walks very pleasant, and everyone in our family was delighted with the delicious food and wonderful Onsen. Thank you for a truly happy stay.

The Hotel was very beautiful and the exterior was highly attractive, but the Room felt somewhat dated. The location right in front of the ski slopes was extremely convenient and excellent. On the other hand, I was bothered by the smell of tobacco on the first floor. Dinner was very satisfying and truly delicious. Breakfast was also tasty, healthy, and enjoyable. It felt a bit inconvenient that there is no luggage storage service before check-in or after check-out. Also, Rooms on the 10th floor do not have a direct elevator, which was slightly inconvenient. Additionally, it was not possible to split a one-day lift ticket into two half-day tickets.

This is a wonderful Hotel. IHG members can check out at 2:00 PM, so you can work up a sweat in the large public bath during a quieter time before heading home. Breakfast is delicious, and after you order an egg dish it is brought to your table, so you don’t have to wait for several minutes in front of the live kitchen—an appreciated touch. The “Bircher muesli” on the menu is especially recommended. Finally, the location is excellent: taking advantage of its convenient setting, you can drive about 10 minutes early in the morning to Ogizawa Station and reach Kurobe Dam from there—only about 30 minutes to this spectacular dam in the sky.

Because we live a vegan lifestyle, we really appreciated that the shop sold vegan noodles. The bath and the service were excellent, and we would love to stay again if we have the opportunity. Thank you very much.

It’s been eight years since our last stay, and this was our first visit back in a while. We returned because it’s one of our favorites, but here are a few things we noticed for next time: - We would like one more face towel at the washbasin in the Room, since two of us are staying. - Toiletries such as lotion are provided, but my wife said she would like emulsion/moisturizer as well. - A few dishes tasted quite salty to us—such as the breakfast soup, grilled salmon, and pickles. We had heard that Nagano Prefecture has been reducing salt recently. Despite these comments, this remains our favorite Accommodation thanks to the excellent hospitality of the staff. Thank you for taking care of us. We will visit again.

I made a Reservation because I wanted to go snowboarding. The free Shuttle Service to several ski resorts was very convenient. The Onsen and Room were clean, and the meals were luxurious with all-you-can-drink alcohol. The price of around 10,000 yen is an incredible deal. It truly turned into an enjoyable trip. Staying at this Hotel makes you not want to stay at any other Hotel. Thank you very much!

This is a hotel with a great atmosphere. The water pressure of the onsen shower was too strong, and it reached others who were bathing (partly depending on how the shower was used). I would like to stay here again in winter.

A basic Room setup and basic services! This was a very clean Hotel that focuses on the essentials, such as service, hospitality, and meals!

I stayed during the lovely summer season.\nBecause it was a weekday, they upgraded my Room, and I was able to enjoy a very spacious Japanese-style room.\nThe town itself has a calm, homey feel and hasn’t been overly commercialized for tourism; being surrounded 360 degrees by nature—green and blue—was truly refreshing for both body and mind.\nThe building has been renovated, so it didn’t feel old and everything was kept clean. However, from the entrance to the lobby there were everyday items that felt a bit cluttered, which was a slight downside for anyone looking for an escape from daily life.\nThat said, the gentleman at the front desk was very kind and warm-hearted, the meals (both dinner and breakfast) were delicious, and the staff’s thoughtful hospitality made me feel like “it’s like coming back to Grandpa’s house,” so overall I’m glad I chose this Accommodation.\nThere is an open-air bath, but it felt slightly exposed as if someone might be able to look in from outside, so in the morning I used only the indoor bath.

We stayed for two nights. We didn’t include meals, but the Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, so we had a comfortable stay. We were able to relax in the bath as it was private during our use. The front desk staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed chatting with them. We would love to stay again when we visit Omachi. In early July during the rainy season, four of us visited by car from Tokyo and stayed for two nights. The location was convenient, with Shinshu soba restaurants, the Daio Wasabi Farm in Azumino, and museums nearby. We bought fresh local vegetables, meat, and sake at a roadside station and at Super Tsuruya, then enjoyed making dinner together. It was also nice to relax on floor cushions at the low table rather than a dining table. On the second day we decided to head to Kamikochi. The mountains were hidden by rain, but we hiked through beautiful nature all the way to the sacred Myojin Pond. At night, soaking in the Onsen water in the hinoki bath soothed our tired legs. The next morning, we toasted apple pie from Nishitoya Sanso’s shop in Kamikochi and took our time enjoying it with the provided specialty coffee while looking out at the garden. Despite the rain, this Accommodation gave us a rich getaway we could never have in Tokyo—an extremely satisfying stay with friends! On our way home we stopped by Setsuro Takahashi Memorial Museum (about 15 minutes away by car); both the architecture and exhibits were wonderful, as was the garden—highly recommended.

We stayed for two nights in mid-October with three generations of our family and our beloved dog, and we had a very comfortable stay in the spacious room. The cleanliness was exceptional, making it hard to believe it was a pet-friendly accommodation. The large living room and kitchen allowed us to enjoy cooking together as a family. The kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of cookware and tableware, so we had everything we needed. (We bought ingredients for dinner at a nearby supermarket.) The separate toilet and bathroom made it convenient for everyone to use without any hassle. It was also helpful that basic dog supplies like a cage and pet sheets were provided. Although pets were not allowed in the bedrooms, our dog relaxed comfortably in the living area. The location right in front of the slopes (Happo-One Ski Resort) was perfect for walking our dog, especially during early morning strolls which were incredibly refreshing. It was also easy to drive to Kurobishi-daira, where we enjoyed stunning autumn foliage—this year seemed to be an excellent year for fall colors! We would love to visit again during summer when the greenery is lush. Traveling with three generations of family members—and especially with a pet—can make choosing accommodations challenging, but this place exceeded all expectations. It's highly recommended for families traveling with small children (grandchildren), as you can relax comfortably in your room while enjoying quality time together!

We stayed as a family of four. When we informed them of our early arrival, they kindly allowed us to enter the room. They also sent us URLs via text message for recommended nearby supermarkets and cafes. It was such a wonderful villa that one night felt too short! A slightly disappointing point was that none of the pet supplies were prepared, so it would have been better if the items listed on the site were ready. The bath was comfortable, and we had a very meaningful time. We would love to use it again.

I love the scent of wood when you first enter. The Room felt very clean, the towels were fluffy, and I had a comfortable stay. The weather was great, and the forest view from the large window directly in front of the bed, along with the morning sunlight streaming in, felt wonderful.

The staff’s warmth and hospitality were outstanding. In addition, the Room was clean, and the natural warmth of the wood made it very comfortable. The location was excellent as well, allowing us to enjoy activities at Iwatake and an Onsen nearby (with free tickets). It was truly wonderful—an Accommodation we would love to return to again and again.
