This time, I stayed in a Japanese-style Room. The view from the Room was great, and I was able to relax—I was extremely satisfied. I used it for a business trip this time, but next time I’d like to stay here again for a family trip. The bath and sauna were both clean and relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious!

I stayed for two nights after a long time. On the second night, I had the “Shinpu” course dinner at the restaurant. The food and service were excellent when I visited before, and that memory stayed with me—this time was just as satisfying. The dishes were truly delicious and outstanding, and the service was also impressive with wonderful hospitality. Maintaining such high quality in both cuisine and service must take great effort, but thanks to you, I was able to make another great new memory. Thank you to the chef and all the staff. Thank you as well to everyone outside the restaurant. I would love to stay again.

The top-floor scenic bath was wonderful; the Onsen was very relaxing. It was great how the view changed between evening and morning. For dinner, since I’m not a fan of buffets, I chose the special kaiseki course. There were many dishes, and everything was delicious—from fresh fish to a tender filet steak. The Room was a modern twin, and the beds were spacious and comfortable. In the lobby there was a coffee machine, and it was nice that you could have as many cups as you liked during the available hours. If I visit Shodoshima again, I’d definitely like to stay here again.

I was able to relax and unwind. The Onsen was great, the bed was comfortable, and the meals were excellent—I’m very satisfied. I’d love to stay again.

I chose the Onuma Prince Hotel for my friend visiting from afar. They were delighted, saying they could relax, fully enjoy the Onsen, and sleep well—it was wonderful. I’m grateful for the staff’s warm smiles and kind service.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and were kind to our children. The breakfast and the in-room dinner via room service were both delicious—everything was perfect. We have stayed at several InterContinental Hotels, and among them, the service at InterContinental Hotel Beppu was outstanding. We were truly moved to find a Hotel we want to return to for the first time in a long while.

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days on a solo travel Plan, combining it with work. The best part was the meals. The sashimi and the Western-style dishes the next day were wonderfully varied, and I was very satisfied. I was also very pleased with the staff’s attentiveness. However, due to my work needs, I preferred a Room with an additional separate space, and I truly appreciated that you kindly accommodated my request by changing it for an additional fee. I think this is a very good Hotel. I will stay again. Thank you.

We were very satisfied with both the Room and the meals. We have stayed at various Ryokan and Hotels considered fairly upscale, but here we especially felt every staff member’s genuine care and dedication to ensuring guests are happy—it was a wonderful experience. My wife also said she would like to come again.

We stayed here for our first trip to show appreciation to my parents. Hoping my mother with rheumatoid arthritis could enjoy the Onsen, we chose a Room with a private bath. The food was excellent—especially the broth, which was outstanding, and I ended up drinking all of it with every dish. All of the staff were courteous, and even the cleaning staff stopped to greet us. My mother was very happy as well. We would like to stay here regularly. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a detached annex. The website said “indoor bath type,” and there were no photos, so we expected a regular bath—but it pleasantly exceeded our expectations. I really think you should post photos of that bath on the website! We originally planned to use the open-air bath, but ended up using the in-room bath the whole time (lol). Also, I believe it was fully booked, yet while we were in our Room we couldn’t hear any voices or noise from other guests at all. You can definitely feel its age, but as a Ryokan it had everything we were looking for. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and very generous in portion size. In particular, I made a Reservation for the half steamed chicken at dinner and it was quite an experience (in a good way). From the website photos I (wrongly) imagined a bone-in thigh, but it truly was “half.” It was very tasty, but you’ll need to save room in your stomach (especially women). When we asked, they even prepared the leftover steamed chicken so we could eat it in our Room! All staff members were wonderful—everyone was pleasant and welcoming. This quiet mountain Ryokan fulfilled everything I wanted: simply enjoying the Onsen and great food. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night with my daughter. Unfortunately, the weather was not great the next day, so things didn’t go exactly as planned, but we were able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. The meals were also very delicious. It would have been even better if there had been handrails in the bathroom and spa baths.

The riverside open-air bath was closed, but we used the outdoor Onsen reached by going down 300 steps. The staircase is so narrow that only one person can pass at a time. We were told it’s open until 11:00 p.m., but we were worried about our footing at night, so we went in the evening and again in the morning. While soaking, we enjoyed the river’s flow and the mountains, listening to the sound of the water. The stairs were tough, but I truly felt glad we came. The semi-open-air bath down about 20 steps was also wonderful, with a clear view of the mountains right in front of you. The temperature was perfect for me. I didn’t expect much from the indoor bath, but it had large windows and felt very pleasant; there was a jacuzzi, a reclining bath, and a hotter pool where we could relax comfortably. Everyone at the Accommodation was very kind and welcoming. Dinner came in many small dishes. The beef and the meatballs in the hot pot were delicious. Even simple items like the beef sauce, hot-pot broth, and pickles were all excellent. The portions were just right for us as a couple. I think you need to be fairly fit to visit an outdoor Onsen that requires going down 300 steps—but I’m really glad we did. This isn’t about the Accommodation itself, but both the bus driver from Nasushiobara Station and the person at Shiobara Onsen Terminal who explained a map of Shiobara Onsen were incredibly friendly, which made our memories of this trip even better. We chose this Hotel after reading Reviews and checking the price. All of the staff were kind, and the check-in explanation was very easy to understand. The Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable for a relaxing stay. We were very satisfied because we could enjoy both Taiko no Yu and the Hotel’s Onsen! After getting tired from walking up the hill before arriving at the Hotel, the cold welcome drink was perfect! Our whole family was happy with our stay. Thank you!

We usually travel as a couple a few times a year, mainly to Hakone, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From the lovely commemorative photos for our celebration to the heartfelt message card with a photo, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are genuinely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was outstanding, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Our assigned staff member was incredibly kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise far removed from everyday life—was also thorough and considerate, and everyone we met greeted us with warm smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was also ideal for us—comfortable without sinking in or feeling overly soft. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations; I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was a private open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% natural source spring water—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen source said to be “legendary,” so we could enjoy an Onsen soak anytime we liked. In addition, there is an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, which allowed our family to enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care and full of creative ideas from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. In my experience so far, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate my father-in-law’s 77th birthday. We brought three little kids with us, and they were thrilled with both the pool and the baths—they went in three times with the adults! The meals were also delicious, and we really got to enjoy Awaji Island. We were very satisfied. Next time, we’d like to visit in winter when fugu is at its best. We had so much fun that I don’t feel like going back to work…

Everything was amazing. Since we traveled by train, it was close to the station, and the location was great—we didn’t get wet in the rain even without an umbrella. But enjoying the Onsen in the rain was also wonderful. Above all, the meals were delicious. I’d love to visit again on a sunny day. Thank you very much for your kind and attentive hospitality.

The bath was a natural Onsen, and it felt wonderful! However, the shower pressure was very weak, which was disappointing. The building is fully covered with tatami mats, which was great and dog-friendly. Overall, it feels a bit old, with steep stairs and a small toilet... But it was well cleaned and acceptable. The meals were served in the Room, so we could relax even with our dog. Everything was very luxurious and delicious!

The large public bath on the 14th floor was great. Both the male and female staff at the bath reception were kind and helpful. The woman at the breakfast venue on the 1st floor was calm, kind, and helped with serving the food. The dishes were all healthy and very good. The woman who assisted me at check-in was also kind and helpful.

We stayed in a detached Room. There were four of us, and it was very spacious with a beautiful interior—we were extremely satisfied. From the open-air bath on the 11th floor, we had a panoramic view of Lake Suwa. The meals also included free alcoholic beverages, and the staff were very attentive, so we had a truly wonderful time. This was my second stay. I love Onsen and visit many hot spring areas, and the water quality at Sakakibara Onsen is excellent. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the large public bath in the Accommodation is outstanding. Although it is a low-temperature bath, you can also soak in the natural spring source, and it leaves your skin smooth and silky. During the day, the day-use bath is open to non-staying guests as well. The age of the Facilities cannot be denied, but even so, it makes me want to come back again. This time I visited during firefly season. The Accommodation’s bus took us to a viewing spot that only locals would know. It seems there were fewer fireflies this year due to a typhoon, but it still felt more than enough. The guide was very kind and made it an enjoyable experience.
