We enjoyed a “staycation,” with lounge hopping across four lounges as the main highlight. First, we walked from Shinagawa Station to the Hotel, but IKYU’s directions said “cross Daiichi Keihan…,” so we crossed the signal right after exiting the Takanawa Exit. However, the route to the right after crossing was blocked due to construction, so we had to turn back. After exiting the Takanawa Exit, it’s best to turn right and walk along Daiichi Keihan, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Sakura-zaka. Alternatively, since it’s a continuous uphill slope, I think taking the shuttle bus would be a good option. We visited all four lounges, and as expected, Hana-Kouro’s lounge was the most relaxing; the drinks were also of higher quality and excellent. The champagne during cocktail time—and Dassai—was a real treat. We also enjoyed tasting different sake. There were some light bites during cocktail time, but it would have been even better if there had been additional hors d’oeuvres. Breakfast was delicious as well. It was our first time trying a matcha grinding experience, and we really enjoyed it. At the lounge, the staff maintained just the right level of attentiveness throughout without being intrusive, which made it very comfortable. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us. I stayed using a wheelchair and asked for assistance, and your staff helped me with a smile, which was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much. The amenities were also well provided and excellent. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Following last month, I stayed again this month. Last month, there was a free Reservation-only event where guests could paint a clear glass wind chime. This month, there was a free Reservation-only event where guests could paint a white fox half mask. I was staying alone, but I joined during breaks from work and it was a great change of pace. There are always thoughtful touches to make guests’ stays more enjoyable, and while I’m sure it’s a lot of work for the staff, this place offers more than just checking in and sleeping. I’m looking forward to staying again.

I stayed around April for a live concert trip. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and attentive, and the hospitality was excellent. They kindly agreed to store my luggage, which was a great help. I believe I chose the lowest-grade Room, but it was very spacious, spotless throughout, and comfortable. When I visit the Kansai area again, I would love to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for a live concert at LaLa Arena TOKYO-BAY in Minami-Funabashi and to enjoy Tokyo DisneySea the next day. Since it’s a Hotel directly connected to Maihama Station, it was very convenient that we could leave our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. Breakfast starts at 6:30 a.m., which was great because we had plenty of time to line up before the park opened. You can also choose amenities freely, and there were plenty of options that helped relieve the fatigue from all the walking. The Room was a twin (Casual 2). It’s slightly compact, but it wasn’t an issue as we could spread our luggage out on the bed. We’d like to stay again.

It was hot in Kyoto, so I really appreciated how close it was to the station! The Room was clean and I was satisfied, and the staff were very kind, making my stay comfortable.

I was impressed by every aspect of this stay. First, the food was truly outstanding. Not only were the ingredients excellent, but the menu featured an abundance of seasonal items that are hard to come by in everyday life—such as longtooth grouper (kue), Shizuoka-brand eel “Deshiko,” pike conger (hamo), kuruma prawns, and Kamo eggplant—and I was moved by each dish. There wasn’t a single miss: the dashi flavor came through beautifully, and the balance of ingredients and seasoning in every course was exquisite. The overall satisfaction was so high that it honestly felt surprising to be able to stay at this price while being served cuisine of such a high level. The Onsen was also wonderful. The bath area is new and kept very clean, so it was comfortable to use. In particular, Umenoya’s unique natural spring water at around 30°C was perfect for this hot season. Alternating it with the indoor bath at around 40°C left me feeling refreshed after bathing and made for a truly relaxing time. I highly recommend trying it this way. Above all, what left the strongest impression was the hospitality of the staff. When I accidentally dropped my chopsticks during dinner, one staff member immediately noticed and picked them up, and another staff member who saw this brought me a fresh pair. Their seamless teamwork showed how well they communicate on a daily basis, which really moved me. The proprietress has such a warm presence—always smiling and speaking to guests in a friendly way. Despite her young age, her attentiveness to guests and her awareness of everything throughout the Ryokan are exceptional; I don’t often encounter someone capable of providing hospitality at this level. It was an Accommodation that left me completely satisfied with its cuisine, Onsen, and service. I would love to return in another season to enjoy more delicious food and the Onsen again.

I had always dreamed of staying at this Hotel, so I booked a stay for my mother’s birthday. It was just as wonderful as I imagined, the signature breakfast was delicious, and the staff’s service was excellent. It became a truly special memory! I would love to stay here again!

From the moment we arrived, the parking guidance, check-in, shop, and breakfast venue staff were all very welcoming, and their smiles and service made our stay truly comfortable. The Room was also clean and well maintained. We also appreciated the complimentary beer and ice cream after bathing. Thank you very much.

I had a wonderful stay. I accidentally arrived at Glover Garden, so I called the Hotel and they kindly helped me. When I entered, they greeted me very politely: “Were you the one who called earlier? We’ve been waiting for you—you arrived sooner than we expected.” After that, every staff member continued to treat me with warm hospitality. That alone made me feel glad I chose this Hotel. In the lobby there are two counters—one open until 10:30 p.m. and another available all day—where you can enjoy as many drinks and snacks as you like. Since I arrived late, I do regret not getting there earlier so I could have tried more from the limited-time counter. The braised pork and chocolate were delicious; there was plenty of braised pork left, so if I hadn’t eaten too much at my dinner gathering, I could have finished it all… maybe next time. Still, the all-day counter was more than enough to enjoy. The lounge also has a great selection of books, so I stayed up a bit reading while enjoying tea and sweets from the all-day counter. It was such a relaxing time. Breakfast in a steamer basket was comforting and delicious as well—the yuzu miso was especially amazing. They also had loquat and mandarin drinks. I expected them to be sweet, but they tasted properly like tea with just a subtle hint of flavor. Personally (with my sweet tooth), the mandarin juice added to the all-day counter in the morning was particularly tasty. There is no Onsen (as expected), and while this is clear if you check in advance, toothbrushes are not provided for sustainability reasons. However, there’s a convenience store about 50 meters away from the Hotel, so it wasn’t inconvenient at all. I’ll definitely come again! Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

It had been a while since we last gathered—this time, all our children and grandchildren came together to celebrate my wife’s and my birthdays. We chose a long-established Ryokan located at the gateway to beautiful Nara Park, just a 2-minute walk from Kintetsu-Nara Station—an ideal meeting point for our family coming from both the Kanto and Kansai regions. The Shosoin-inspired building we had often admired on the way to Nara Park turned out to be Kasuga Hotel. It was our first stay, and it proved to be a wonderful Accommodation that stands at the entrance to historic Nara Park. Here are a few memorable moments from our visit. With its major restoration now underway—the first in about 120 years since FY2022—Kofuku-ji Temple’s National Treasure Five-Story Pagoda will be something we look forward to enjoying again from our Room once the work is completed.

Thank you very much for letting us stay in such a spacious Room! We were able to spend our time in the Room feeling truly pampered. I was happy to receive a cold towel at check-in, and even though the front desk was busy, you assisted us right away. Everyone’s wonderful smiles warmed our hearts. We were able to relax deeply in the Onsen and felt our everyday fatigue melt away. Thank you very much!

I have stayed here many times. Among the Onsen in Zao, the water quality is excellent, and Tsuruya’s baths suit me perfectly. There are also four types of private baths, so you can relax and enjoy them at your own pace. The food is incredibly delicious—every meat dish is generous in portion size and so tasty that you’ll want to eat it again right away. This time I had the Zao beef steak; it was very tender and wonderful with a variety of flavors such as lemon butter and wasabi. I will definitely visit again. A Multiple Night Stay is also recommended.

It’s a short walk from the station (bus stop), but I think it’s an easy distance to walk. The Room had everything we needed, and it was wonderful that drinks and light snacks were available until 10:00 pm. The snack cakes were delicious. All the staff were courteous and helpful, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for a wonderfully comfortable Multiple Night Stay of three nights. When I returned from shopping, a male staff member in the lobby kindly asked, “Shall I take your luggage to your Room first?” Thanks to that, I was able to relax and enjoy sweets and coffee at the café. He was an outstanding staff member. As expected of Okura Hotel. I will be staying again for another three-night Multiple Night Stay over the New Year holidays, so I look forward to seeing you again.

I stayed here while reuniting with an old friend. As soon as I entered the Room, fireworks at Marine Stadium went off, making it feel like a warm welcome. The check-in and guidance were very courteous, and breakfast the next morning was truly delicious. My friend who traveled from far away was also very happy. I will stay here again. Although I checked in late at night, thank you for your prompt and efficient assistance at the front desk. I’m still not used to the rain shower, but it was part of the fun. I used the breakfast buffet for the first time the next morning, and every dish was carefully prepared—it really gave me energy to start the day. Because we enjoyed our previous stay so much, we came back again. It was convenient to leave our luggage at the information center in front of Kintetsu Nara Station. The Room had an even better view than last time, and my mother was delighted. We were able to relax in a private dining room for both dinner and breakfast. The meals were delicious as well. Unfortunately, it was raining, but towels were provided in front of the front desk, and I was impressed by how thoughtful that was. The hotel is close to the station, and the bath was great. After bathing, I enjoyed some ice cream while taking in the beautiful view. The late-night soba was excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.
