We stayed as a family of four during the Obon holidays. The Accommodation was very clean and beautiful. The Onsen and the meals were both excellent. We were also able to buy Shizuoka oden that you recommended on our way home, and it was very delicious! It was a warm, comfortable Accommodation. We would love to visit again during the autumn foliage season. Thank you very much.

I found this Accommodation and made a Reservation the day before my stay. I loved the atmosphere, and headed to Yatsugatake with no Plan, hoping to relax. When I arrived, the owner was out walking the dogs, which immediately put me at ease. Once inside, his friendly wife welcomed me warmly, and I felt comfortable right away. Every dish at dinner had a gentle, natural flavor, and the portions were generous. Breakfast was a salad full of fresh highland vegetables. The bread was delicious too. Even though it was just a last-minute one-night stay, it turned into exactly the trip I’d hoped for—rich and fulfilling. Since I had no Plan, I really appreciated all their helpful suggestions about nearby sights. I wanted to see Yatsugatake’s starry night sky, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. The owner showed me stunning photos he had taken while hiking—truly breathtaking. I was amazed that the Milky Way could be that beautiful. They were precious photos. At night, surrounded by nature, I slept very comfortably. When it was time to leave, both dogs came out to see me off, and we even took photos together—I’ll treasure them. This was a special Accommodation that I would absolutely love to stay at again! Thank you very much!

We stayed at the accommodation for the first time to celebrate our couple's 60th birthday. Thank you very much for your hospitality. The facility was clean, the food was delicious, and we were able to relax. Although it was a bit of a distance to Toshogu Shrine, we enjoyed walking while admiring the beautiful autumn leaves and stopping by shops along the approach. It is conveniently located near Tobu Nikko Station, making it ideal for those arriving by Spacia train. Additionally, we were deeply impressed by the impeccable hospitality of the hostess at the front desk.

We visited as a group of four—my grandparents, my mother, and me—to celebrate my grandmother’s 80th birthday. My grandparents love traveling and have visited many places around the world, including Japan, but they said this experience was truly exceptional. In particular, the concierge who assisted us was wonderful—thank you very much for your thoughtful care and attention. Dinner at the Italian restaurant SEME was also a fantastic experience; both the owner’s warm personality and the food were outstanding. Next time, we would love to visit again with my father as well, who couldn’t join us this time. It was a truly wonderful one-night, two-day stay. Thank you very much.

An Accommodation where you can stay with your dog. We were looking forward to it because the Reviews were great, and we heard we could also harvest seasonal vegetables. It’s a spacious countryside house, thoroughly cleaned, and we had a very comfortable stay. We received lots of summer vegetables—grilled them at a barbecue, boiled some to eat—and the freshly picked produce was flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! And there are so many Facilities: a Dutch oven, smoker, pizza oven, and even cheese fondue. There’s also a shaved ice machine, a popcorn maker, and even an astronomical telescope. One night isn’t enough to enjoy everything. Next time, I’d like to come back after preparing more things in advance! I also want to harvest vegetables in different seasons! Now I understand why so many guests return. It definitely makes you want to come again. The owner was extremely kind as well—explained everything clearly and took great care of us. Highly recommended Accommodation!

My check-in was late due to the ferry schedule, but they kindly accommodated me. In the living room, guests were happily chatting with the hosts! On the day I left, they saw me off even in the heat and took a commemorative photo with me! I had a very comfortable stay and would love to come again! Thank you very much!

Since it was a No Meals Included plan, we were able to stay at a very reasonable price, and we could also use the wonderful dog run and pool. Throughout the Hotel, we could feel the staff’s kindness and consideration toward dogs, which made our stay very comfortable.

The interior facilities and amenities were excellent. The Room had a stylish Western feel, and I would like to stay again. The bed was very soft, and I slept comfortably. A short drive away there are many shops, and the nearby shops listed in the Hotel guide were easy to understand.

The location is surrounded by nothing, but that also means it’s wonderfully quiet, and you can spend a blissful time surrounded by antique furniture. It’s a very distinctive Hotel with an outstanding atmosphere. Since the rooms are fully visible from the Lake Garden promenade, you may hesitate to approach the windows carelessly in light clothing after 9:00 a.m. Dinner is served at an affiliated restaurant in Kyu-Karuizawa, which also features a wonderful classical interior and truly delicious food.

Highly recommended for sauna lovers! The private sauna was available anytime, so we could enjoy it as often as we liked and then relax outdoors while taking in the lush green views. The open-air bath was also spacious, and the scenery was soothing—an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a leisurely meal. They also kindly accommodated my friend’s birthday at dessert time, which made my friend very happy. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. It’s a place that makes you want to come back. It would be lovely during cherry blossom season, or in autumn when you can enjoy chestnuts as well. We’d love to visit again. The timing for clearing the dishes was very poor. Although I had informed you of my buckwheat allergy, it was very disappointing that you still tried to serve buckwheat. The food was very delicious and excellent. Thank you very much.

The view of the calm Seto Inland Sea was breathtaking. Having a golf course right in front added excitement as I imagined playing the next day. Above all, I deeply appreciate the staff's kindness in bringing my husband's forgotten valuables to the station. We are truly grateful for your help and apologize for any inconvenience caused. We will definitely visit again!

We stayed at a villa for our trip to Okinawa with friends. The accommodation was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay very enjoyable. When we opened the large windows in the living room, there was a garden with an ocean view. In the mornings, we enjoyed yoga and radio exercises by opening the windows. The beach was just steps away from the garden, where we watched beautiful sunrises and collected seashells and coral. It was such a wonderful trip to Okinawa! We would love to visit again. We chose this vacation house in the Maoi area of Naganuma Town to get away from the city noise, relax in nature, and recharge. It had already been featured by various people on YouTube, so it fully lived up to our expectations. All we could hear were birdsong, insects, and the wind. Just watching the sky change—from sunset to twilight, a sky full of stars, and then dawn—made all our worries fade away. We stayed at Maoiq konfort, designed around a Scandinavian interior concept. The Louis Poulsen pendant lights in the double-height space were beautiful as they reflected again and again in the glass against the sunset sky. For me, unlike a Hotel stay, there’s simply no alternative to a vacation house where you can spend time privately and peacefully without anyone disturbing you—so I don’t mind a small difference in cost. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. Below are a few points that I felt would make it even better, from my perspective working in architecture and interiors: I would have liked an interior roller blind since the entrance door is glass. Similarly, vertical blinds on the living-room windows facing the double-height space would be helpful. It would be best if there were dimmer circuits for the lighting switches. I’d prefer outlets by the bed to be on the center side; there was nowhere convenient to place my phone while charging. The bedside light is positioned too high and falls into your line of sight when lying down. If Scandinavian design is truly the concept, I’d like to see floor or table lamps added. I wanted lower-level lighting overall. (Downlights on the double-height ceiling don’t feel necessary.) To enjoy stargazing at night, I wanted an on/off switch for the lighting that illuminates the white birch trunks across from the terrace. A luggage rack would be appreciated—I didn’t want to bring dirty suitcase wheels indoors.

This was our third stay at Roof Yureya. No matter how many times we visit, the warm hospitality never changes, and it truly puts us at ease. The staff’s sense of distance is just right, and it feels so comforting—like coming home. Above all, the greatest charm is being able to spend plenty of “family time” that you could never experience at a Hotel. Instead of splitting up into separate Rooms, we can gather around the irori hearth, relax on the veranda, take a bath whenever we like, and enjoy the sauna or fireworks whenever we want. It’s a truly luxurious space where conversation naturally flows. We also appreciated being able to leave meals to the staff, which helped us forget the busyness of everyday life and spend unhurried time together as a family once again. We’d love to visit again in another season. Thank you as always for such a wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful time. Due to the heavy rain, the Onsen source stopped, so it was disappointing that we couldn’t use the in-room bath. However, we received a courteous message in advance, and your responses throughout our communication were very polite, so we were able to stay without any issues. Although we couldn’t use the in-room bath, giving 1 star would lower your rating too much, so with hopes for next time I’m giving 5 stars. I would like to visit again once the Onsen is restored. As a personal request, I’d like to mention two points for improvement. First, regarding the hanging light in the center of the Room: even when it was on, it felt dim. If you could replace it with one that allows brightness adjustment or switch to a brighter LED light, I think it would be more comfortable. Second, when walking from the parking area to the entrance, there were multiple nests of what looked like horseflies on the ground. There were many of them around and it made entering and leaving the building difficult. Since this is an important pathway for guests, it would be better to remove the nests or take some kind of countermeasure.

We stayed here last year with our dog and loved it so much that we came back again this year. Our dog had the freedom to play in the garden dog run, and the BBQ while listening to the sound of the waves was amazing. The sunset was beautiful, and from the back door you can reach the beach in no time. We even received a souvenir when we checked out. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights during our summer vacation trip with our child. It was our first time using smart check-in, and we were worried it might not go smoothly, but it was fine. If we visit Amami again, we’d like to stay here again. It’s conveniently located about a 10-minute drive from the airport, clean, and reasonably priced—overall we were very satisfied. Summary ・The Room was very clean! Since there is no cleaning service for a 3-night stay, we borrowed a floor wiper and cleaned ourselves. ・We watched the night sky from the rooftop. It was around the full moon, so according to locals the sky was bright and the stars weren’t at their best, but it was still beautiful and felt like a special escape. ・Since we didn’t go out at night with our child, it was great that we could watch TVer, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube in the Room. ・Only a 30-second walk to the beach! We had it all to ourselves and enjoyed it fully. Even starting in the late afternoon was enough time to play, so our child didn’t get bored. It was also convenient to be able to shower before going back into the Room. The sea was so clear that we ended up buying snorkeling gear on short notice. ・There are two washing machines and two dryers. Because it’s a busy season with many guests, it was inconvenient having to wait for others to come pick up their laundry. Especially at night, if your timing is bad they can be in use no matter how many times you check. ・As other Reviewers have mentioned, there are truly very few restaurants nearby. Many places are only open during the day (e.g., until 6:00 PM), so it’s best to plan dinner in advance. The nearest convenience store is also about a 10–15 minute drive away.

From the moment we checked in, we were impressed by how thoroughly cleaned and spotless the cottage was. The front desk staff explained everything politely, and the atmosphere was perfect. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t enjoy an outdoor BBQ or a campfire, but we’d love to come back and try again next time.

I made a Reservation at this Accommodation because of the great Reviews. It was just as wonderful as the Reviews said, and I was very satisfied. The building is tastefully designed and offers a relaxing, comfortable space, and each dish was carefully handmade with local ingredients and tasted delicious. The hostess was also very kind and helpful. I would definitely like to stay here again.
