The food was absolutely delicious. We were also very satisfied that the private Onsen bath was available 24 hours a day. The hostess kindly told us about nearby sightseeing spots, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We would love to visit again with my husband.

This was our eighth stay. Ever since our first visit, the Room, the private bath, and the surroundings of the Hotel have been very comfortable, and the meals are delicious. We stay about once a year, and it has become something my wife and I truly look forward to. This time as well, the food was excellent—especially the Chateaubriand, which was outstanding. Although it was rainy and we didn’t go to Mount Koya this time, we were able to see exceptionally beautiful flowering peach trees and weeping cherry blossoms around Sanso Amanosato.

We were satisfied with everything—the guest room, the private open-air bath, and the restaurant. The retro furnishings in the room were truly comforting, and we were impressed by the thoughtful care in the meals. We enjoyed a level of luxury that exceeded the price. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again. The Hotel staff were also wonderful. As I get older, I find peace in an Accommodation like this. I hadn’t had many chances to visit Chichibu before, but this was an excellent Hotel as a base for visiting Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine (the Chichibu Three Shrines pilgrimage), as well as sightseeing in Nagatoro. Thank you very much.

Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and the ayu served at dinner this time was especially outstanding. The bath in the Room was also spacious, allowing us to relax and soak comfortably. We were soothed by the greenery in the garden, and we were also happy to see wild deer. We would love to visit again.

From the welcoming staff to the front desk team, Room guidance, and dining staff, everyone was courteous and made us feel truly comfortable. The Room was clean, and both the indoor bath and open-air bath were very relaxing. Each dish was beautifully prepared—from seasoning to presentation—and everything was delicious. Thank you for giving us such a soothing time on this trip with friends. Next time, we would love to visit again with our family.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed your wonderful meals. We also had the chance to spend time with the cats and had a truly delightful stay. We love the cabbage fields visible from our Room. We stayed here for a family trip during the Obon holidays. They kindly provided taxi pick-up and drop-off to Nagano Station, which was very helpful. The staff were attentive, and the facility was clean and pleasant, making our stay truly relaxing. The meals were also excellent. We would love to visit again in a different season. I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at a comfortable pace. It was quiet and spotless throughout, and the Onsen was incredibly open and wonderful. Every meal was deeply delicious. This Accommodation was simply outstanding. With only a small number of guest Rooms, it was very quiet and relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room was especially amazing, and it washed away my everyday work fatigue and stress. The meals were also excellent and truly delicious. The flavors were generally light, yet each dish made the most of the ingredients and tasted wonderful. All of the staff provided very pleasant service. Thank you for two wonderful days.

It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

We had an incredibly fulfilling stay. From the interior and exterior design to the furniture, decor, fixtures, amenities, lawn, and open grounds, this was a wonderfully comfortable Facility where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere. The interior is unified in a calm design, with very high ceilings that create an airy sense of openness, allowing us to fully enjoy a special time away from everyday life. The vanity area and bathroom were especially spacious and impressive—made with high-quality materials and kept impeccably clean down to every corner. The amenities also felt thoughtfully chosen; for example, Aesop hand soap was provided at the sink. All essential cookware and appliances were available, so we could stay comfortably without any inconvenience. We even enjoyed handheld fireworks in the garden. The views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Alps were also stunning—scenery you could gaze at for hours without noticing time pass. Most memorable of all were the wood-fired sauna and cold plunge bath. The wood-fired sauna was exceptional—enjoying it while feeling the flicker of flames, hearing the crackle of burning logs, and breathing in the scent of wood was truly special. Unlike an electric heater, it had a gentle heat that warmed us slowly from deep within and helped us relax completely. A large amount of sauna stones were thoroughly heated, so we could also enjoy pleasant steam from löyly. It’s an ideal setup that I would highly recommend even to dedicated sauna lovers. They added ice to the cold plunge bath multiple times for us, so we could cool down properly. Paired with the wood-fired sauna, it was perfect—we fully enjoyed every session. In the evening we enjoyed a BBQ, and we really appreciated that the owner prepared everything—from lighting the fire to setting everything up. On top of that, we received a generous gift of fresh vegetables grown by his wife. They were all rare varieties you don’t often see day-to-day, and you could feel careful attention not only in each vegetable but also in their labels and packaging. We tried them right away at our BBQ—especially the eggplant, which was unbelievably tender and delicious. Beyond how wonderful both the Facility itself and its location are, we were truly moved by the owners’ thoughtful hospitality as well. In this extraordinary setting—with beautiful views, a wood-fired sauna experience like no other،and BBQ—we spent a luxurious yet deeply comfortable time here. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful experience.

Last time, we arrived late and had No Meals Included. It was such a great Accommodation that we were disappointed, so this time we added a BBQ dinner and checked in early for a do-over. Even though it was midsummer, it was cooler from the evening and we could enjoy the BBQ, and the local ingredients provided were unbelievably delicious. There was plenty of food, and we even had a BBQ breakfast with what was left over! We were told rice wasn’t included, so we bought some at Roadside Station Onan no Sato and brought it with us. Maybe because of the BBQ smoke, even though it’s in the mountains, there seemed to be fewer bugs for some reason. As always, the inside was clean, easy to spend time in, and our whole family enjoyed a comfortable stay! Considering the price as well, this is the best Accommodation. Thank you to the owner. We’ll come again someday!

This Hotel was truly wonderful, with breathtaking views of Hayama and the warm hospitality of the entire staff. In particular, the Misaki-caught longtooth grouper served at dinner was perfectly cooked by the chef and genuinely moving—its plump, tender white flesh and rich fat that melted in my mouth were unforgettable. With outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, it became a very special stay. Thank you very much.

The carefully prepared healthy cuisine, the clean and stylish Room, the luxurious amenities, and the bath where you can relax while listening to the gentle murmur of the river—everything was deeply satisfying and made for a truly wonderful stay. What left the strongest impression on me was the hospitality of all the staff. There were several international staff members as well, and seeing them serve guests earnestly in Japanese and make an effort to embrace Japanese culture was truly heartwarming. This is an Accommodation I would love to visit again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

I made a Reservation after seeing this Accommodation featured by a YouTuber. The property was clean and airy, and the view from our Room was wonderful. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we felt completely at home—overall, we were very satisfied. Most of all, we were impressed by how kind and thoughtful the staff were in their attentive greetings. We stayed as a family of three with our 11-month-old baby. Upon request, they provided a baby crib and a diaper disposal bin in the Room, and we could also enjoy the heated pool together, so we felt comfortable even with a small child. At dinner, they prepared a private dining room for us, which allowed us to relax without worrying about disturbing other guests when our daughter became fussy. It was an unhurried course meal that lasted nearly two hours, but every time the staff came in they spoke gently to her; even though she is shy around strangers, she stayed happy and smiling throughout. Thank you as well for warming up her baby food. Traveling with a child can be tiring in many ways, but thanks to the Facilities and the warmth of the staff here, we were able to take things at our own pace and truly relax. Thank you very much. The afternoon tea and light meals are excellent, so I recommend having a lighter lunch before your 3:00 PM check-in.

We stayed for one night in Yayoi in July with our dog as a couple. We’ve stayed at many dog-friendly Accommodations, and this is the best one for us. I especially love sulfur Onsen, and while other dog-friendly Accommodations we’ve stayed at had Onsen, none had sulfur springs. Here, there is also a free-flowing natural hot spring bath in the Room, so we didn’t have to leave our dog waiting to go to a public bath. Even though many places don’t allow dogs in the bathroom area, this Accommodation provided a dog bathtub, shampoo, and towels—I've never stayed anywhere so thoughtful. Our senior large dog kept coming to watch us enjoy the Onsen with curiosity. Just walking through the spilled water from the free-flowing sulfur spring at the washing area turned his rough, cracked paw pads into smooth ones—just like the Reviews said. It’s truly an amazing Onsen. The Imabari bath towel after bathing was fluffy and very comfortable. Since it was a No Meals Included stay, we mainly brought takeout from Nasu restaurants. We also bought Nasu cheese and sausages along with drinks and snacks, and picked up bread and yogurt for breakfast at a nearby shop before heading to the Accommodation. With the best sulfur Onsen, delicious food and drinks from Nasu, a quiet setting, we were able to relax completely. Our dog also seemed very satisfied with the cool highland climate, peaceful greenery-filled surroundings, and private feel without running into other dogs—he looked truly relaxed. All of us were soothed by both nature and the Onsen and went home extremely happy. My husband said he wants to come again in winter too—so we’ll be making another Reservation. With easy access from Junglia and wanting to stay on Kouri Island, I made a Reservation here. It was very convenient—less than a 30-minute drive from Junglia! On the way, seeing the view from Kouri Bridge again after a long time really got me excited! When I arrived at the Hotel and headed to the entrance, a staff member came out to greet me and carried my luggage for me. Since I checked in much earlier than planned, I asked if it would be possible to make a dinner Reservation, and they kindly accommodated me (it may have been the last available seat). Just like the Reviews said, the food here was outstanding! For dinner, I ordered beef sirloin steak, hamburger steak, garlic shrimp, and other Okinawan dishes. Every dish was carefully prepared with great seasoning—truly impressive. Breakfast included freshly baked bread, a salad plate, soup, and coffee; both the portion size and taste were completely satisfying. The Room was exactly as shown in the photos—stylish and clean with a white-and-blue theme—and it was very comfortable. Personally, I really appreciated having a vanity separate from the sink area; it was very convenient to use. I’d love to stay here again when I visit Kouri Island next time!

This was my second stay. Last time, I stayed during a snowy season, so this time I was able to relax until dinner and fully enjoy the sight of green trees swaying and the gentle calls of evening cicadas from my clean, refined Room. The meals here are delicious both in the morning and in the evening, with plenty of vegetables. Of course, the fish and meat were also excellent—everything was flawless. Above all, the staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their service was attentive and professional, which made me feel truly happy. I will definitely come back to stay again when I have time. The property has been beautifully renovated and is very clean despite being 20 years old. We chose the standard meal plan, and it was delicious—simple, no gimmicks, with a focus on great taste. The portion size was just right. I also forgot something behind, and I’m very grateful for all the help in handling it. Highly recommended.
