During Silver Week, my family of four stayed for four nights in a Grand Premier Floor Room. The view from the top floor was truly breathtaking, and the blue ocean was so soothing. Every day we went snorkeling and swam with sea turtles, and with delicious meals as well, it was a very satisfying trip. The dining options were also excellent, including a wonderful new Italian restaurant and a Japanese-Ryukyu fusion restaurant. It’s the kind of place that makes you think, “This is where we’ll stay again” when visiting Miyakojima.

I was very satisfied with the Hotel’s Facility, the staff service, and the dining options. In particular, the daily replenishment of drinks in the guest room, the spacious and comfortable large public bath, and the fireworks viewing area were excellent. However, the price was a little high. The only drawback was that the parking lot was a bit far away. I would definitely like to stay here again next time.

We stayed with four friends. The building is old, but the Japanese-style room was spacious. The restroom was a bit hard to find, but we were able to use it without any issues. The dining area was also large, and thanks to staggered meal times it was rarely crowded. There was a wide variety of dishes, so we could enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. Both baths require taking stairs from the entrance, so I felt it might be difficult for guests with mobility issues. One of the baths had water that was too lukewarm, so we couldn’t stay in for long. The parking lot is far away, but they provided Shuttle Service by car, which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

This was my first visit to Ise Grand Shrine, and I chose this inn because I truly wanted to attend an early-morning worship. I was able to stay in a special room, and the amenities and hair dryer were excellent. With complimentary drinks and alcohol available freely, it made for a very satisfying stay. There is also a private entrance exclusively for guests of the special room, so coming and going for the early-morning visit was very smooth, allowing me to have a truly moving experience at the shrine. My departure time in the morning suddenly became earlier than planned, but they quickly arranged a taxi for me, which was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much. When I visit Ise Grand Shrine again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you.

We stayed for one night on the dog-friendly Plan with dinner and breakfast included. Both the seafood hot pot and breakfast were delicious. The seafood hot pot portion was a bit small, so if you have a big appetite, I recommend bringing extra ingredients. For breakfast, the made-to-order omelet and French toast from the live kitchen were especially good. The bath area had fewer washing stations than expected, so you may have to wait during busy times. The shower was easy to use (adjustable water pressure and it didn’t shut off automatically), and the ReFa hair dryer dried even long hair quickly. There were also a pool and table tennis in the building, plus board games available to borrow for in-Room play—our child loved them. The Room felt like a luxury apartment model unit, with the bedroom clearly separated from the living/dining/kitchen area, so we could relax without worrying even after our child fell asleep. If you have a Netflix account, you can watch it on the TV. That said, it’s hard to ignore that some detailed cleaning in the Room seemed insufficient—especially how dirty the air conditioner and ventilation fan were, which was disappointing. The air conditioner had heavy blackish stains that looked like mold not only inside but also on the exterior. The ventilation filters in the changing area and toilet were packed with dust, which was shocking. Also, while the bathroom and kitchen areas were kept clean overall, limescale hadn’t been fully removed from the small sink installed in the toilet. Dog amenities were well stocked overall, making this Accommodation great value for money and one we’d like to stay at again—but because both the air conditioner and vents were truly dirty, I hope they will be thoroughly cleaned before our next visit.

We visited as two women this time. A dedicated staff member was assigned to us and took care of us both in our room and during meals. We were amazed by the attentive service. They explained each dish at just the right moments without interrupting our conversation, and even kindly made rice we couldn’t finish into onigiri—thoughtful touches that are hard to come by. The food was outstanding, easily among the top one or two meals we’ve had at any ryokan. Every staff member we passed in the building greeted us and added a few warm words as well, which truly impressed us. What a comfortable place this is. We recommended it to our family that very day. As we were leaving, a staff member who was cleaning said, “We look forward to welcoming you again.” Although we travel often, it was the first time anyone had said that to us—and it really moved us. This is a wonderful inn where training and hospitality reach every detail. You can feel that everyone works from the guest’s perspective, and thanks to that we had a truly pleasant stay. We will definitely visit again—not just Hiroshima, but Arimoto specifically. It was such a lovely day. Thank you very much.

I chose Haiya as my Accommodation in Awara Onsen for the first time in a year. I still remembered the layout and traditional furnishings of my previous Room (Iwashimizu), so I decided to stay here again. This time, my Room was “Choyo,” and I also loved its classic, traditional atmosphere. Best of all, the Room had an open-air bath, so I could relax and soak at my own pace and enjoy a different feel from the large public bath. As before, the meals featured plenty of locally sourced ingredients, including Wakasa beef, which I was able to savor fully. The many dishes served in tableware that evoked an autumn ambiance also showed the staff’s thoughtful attention to detail. I really like Haiya’s calm, high-quality atmosphere, and I plan to stay here again when I visit Awara Onsen next time.

We stayed as a family with children, split across three Rooms. During Silver Week, many people were heading to Kinosaki Marine World, and since there is only one road to the parking area, there was severe traffic congestion. Even though we were nearby, we couldn’t move forward for a while and were worried about what would happen. Later, thanks to staff guidance, we were able to reach the front of the Hotel and felt relieved. At that moment, I truly felt glad we had made a Reservation at Kinparo. For dinner, they prepared a private dining Room so all three families could eat together. Even with small children moving around, we didn’t have to worry about disturbing other guests, and we could enjoy our meal at ease. Our child had an accident during the meal, but the staff handled it kindly and professionally—we are very grateful. The Room was spacious, and it was comfortable to relax in the Tokijiku Lounge and visit The Walrus Club as well—the open spaces made for a very pleasant stay. The view from the Hotel was wonderful, and all of the staff provided courteous service. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

This time I wanted to try fishing at Kesennuma Port, so I stayed at this Accommodation because it’s close to the fishing spots. It’s located on a hill right in front of the port, with a great view. From the main entrance you can overlook all of Kesennuma Port, and it was such a refreshing place. What’s more, thanks to the very unique elevator tower, it was super convenient—I could get to the fish market on ground level in just 2–3 minutes. The building itself feels a bit retro and has a Showa-era vibe, so it may not be for everyone, but I found it very comfortable. What really impressed me was the night view of Kesennuma Port—and the sea urchin and hoya! The scenery completely changes from daytime; with the illumination it felt almost like a theme park. I was truly moved. I also enjoyed night fishing while taking in the lights—please do see it in person if you can. And the dinner served this time—sea urchin on its shell and hoya sashimi—was incredible. The sea urchin I had before at a Hotel in Minamisanriku was delicious too, but Kesennuma’s sea urchin is no joke! It had rich sweetness and umami and tasted amazing. The hoya sashimi may have been the best I’ve ever had. The ocean aroma and perfectly firm texture were irresistible for anyone who loves hoya. All staff were polite and very pleasant. Some seemed new, but their sincerity came through, and it made me feel this is a well-run Hotel. I suppose there’s no helping that some Facility areas are a bit old, but even taking that into account, I’d definitely like to stay again.

Given the location, it may be no surprise that the fish is delicious, but the soup and side dishes were also excellent. The cooking showed outstanding taste and skill. Breakfast in particular was impressive—generous in portion size and well balanced. We stayed as a family in two Rooms. The special Room in the main building was very relaxing, with a living room overlooking the sea and a bedroom with a massage chair and a large TV. The detached annex was spacious and stylish with a modern feel, and we slept very well there. This was entirely our mistake, but thank you for kindly helping us look for our lost item. A wonderful Accommodation.

We stayed for two nights while sightseeing. With only a limited number of rooms, we felt the room size, well-stocked amenities, cleanliness, and the natural atmosphere of the private family bath were on par with five-star hotels in Europe and the U.S. The staff’s courteous service was not overly formal; it was warm and genuinely welcoming, allowing us to relax completely throughout our stay. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious with a wide variety of dishes—and we ended up enjoying quite a bit of alcohol as well. My wife and I were able to start our trip off on a wonderful note.

We wanted to stop by Chuson-ji at the end of our Tohoku trip, and were able to stay at the Accommodation we’d had our eye on—Oshu Hiraizumi Onsen Ryokan—at a great price with an Iwate discount coupon. Just as the Reviews said, every dish made with local ingredients was delicious! From the Maezawa beef at dinner to the sake and local craft beer, everything went down so smoothly. The hattō soup for breakfast and “Ihatov” Onsen rice were beyond our expectations. On top of that, the staff were always smiling and made us feel truly welcome. The self-serve coffee in the lobby was also excellent! The Onsen was at just the right temperature, and through the open window frame we looked up at the Mid-Autumn full moon floating above a courtyard lightly touched with autumn colors—what a luxury. We enjoyed a blissful moment. We talked as a family about wanting to stay again, but since we’ve already visited Chuson-ji twice, we immediately started searching for other places in Iwate we’d like to visit next time—and wondered if we could stay here again since it’s only about an hour away. Thanks to your wonderful hospitality and cuisine, we could perfectly wrap up our 4-night, 5-day Tohoku trip. Thank you very much. I visited on a solo trip to Kyushu. I stayed for two nights, and both dinners were delicious. I could see Sakurajima from my Room, and the Onsen was very relaxing—overall, it was a very satisfying trip. The Shuttle Service from the station was also provided multiple times. However, perhaps due to the extreme heat of the season, the air conditioning in the hallway felt weak, and I ended up a bit sweaty on the way back to my Room after bathing.

I was looking for a Hotel around Lake Toya where I could stay with my dog, and chose this Hotel— it was truly an outstanding experience. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptionally delicious, and I was completely satisfied. The facilities were clean and modern, and all the staff were wonderful. The only thing I noticed was that although you should be able to enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Toya from the bath, the outside view was blocked for privacy reasons. That part was a little disappointing. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we had a very comfortable stay with our dog. I would love to visit again!

The bath was very relaxing and the food was delicious—we were extremely satisfied! However, there were two disappointing points. 1) We would have appreciated having a mirror in the Room. There was only one at the dimly lit sink... 2) When we went for a morning bath, there was a large amount of something like sugar (possibly from snacks) spilled inside a locker in the changing Room. It may have been left by the previous guest, but it was still disappointing.

Both the food and the baths were excellent. The view from the room was amazing—the calm sea and a beautiful sunset made it perfect. Since dinner was served in the room, we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace, and the proprietress also came by to greet us. I was impressed by how attentive and courteous the service was throughout our stay. The meals were delicious overall and very filling; in particular, the simmered blackthroat seaperch (nodoguro) and sea urchin at dinner, and the dried flounder at breakfast, were outstanding. However, starting breakfast at 8:00 felt a bit late—I would be happy if guests could choose their preferred time. The bath water had a silky texture that felt like being wrapped in lotion—very soothing. There is also a sauna for men, and it was great to be able to do löyly yourself. At checkout, we received shrimp okizuke as a souvenir. It was my first time trying it, but it was incredibly delicious—so much so that I’d like to order some for delivery. Thank you very much. They even waved us off until our car disappeared from sight on departure, and overall I felt this is truly a wonderful inn.

I travel out many times throughout the year. I was truly won over by how delicious the food was here. The rice was cooked perfectly! Ayu sashimi (my first time), salt-grilled ayu (the seasoning, grilling, and timing of service), and even the soup—everything was flawless. From now on, your salt-grilled ayu will likely be my benchmark for taste. This may sound presumptuous, but I believe it’s simple dishes that really show a chef’s skill. The yukata in the Room were crisp and nicely starched, so even someone like me who doesn’t usually like yukata could wear it comfortably. I also appreciated the detox water after bathing.

I enjoyed a panoramic view of the Seto Inland Sea and tried “Hime Suma,” an Ehime-branded fish, for the first time. The sushi was delicious, and I was amazed by the quality of the meal and the great value for money.

When we arrived at Komaki Port, it was pouring rain and we were worried about what lay ahead, but the staff’s bright smiles instantly put us at ease. They gave us a detailed tour of the Accommodation, which truly impressed us. The open-air bath was challenging in the rain, but it turned into a unique experience we wouldn’t normally have, and that made it special in its own way. The food was more than we could finish, with outstanding quality, and there were many moments when the staff’s thoughtful care really moved us. The Room had just been renovated and was a very satisfying space. However, at night when using the Room’s open-air bath, we did notice insects being drawn to the lights. Seeing all the staff waving goodbye as we left made this an Accommodation we definitely want to visit again. Thank you very much.

The website highlighted the dining, and indeed both dinner and breakfast were as beautiful and delicious as expected. The service was attentive, making our stay very comfortable. The view from the terrace is well worth seeing, so don’t miss it.
