The open-air bath was fully booked, so we could only reserve it once, but they kindly let us in early and allowed us to use it privately for over an hour. The indoor bath was piping hot, and the open-air bath was at just the right temperature—my skin felt wonderfully smooth afterward. We were able to enjoy breakfast at a relaxed pace in a private room. The grilled dried horse mackerel and the wasabi pickles were amazing! The breakfast staff were polite and pleasant, with excellent service. From the Room, we could see the wooded hillside behind the property and blooming flowers; it was a lovely Japanese-style Room with plenty of nostalgic Showa-era charm. Nearby there are convenience stores, sushi restaurants, AEON, and other places for shopping. The scones and pudding at a nearby shop were simple and delicious as well. This has become an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much.

With work finally wrapped up, I stayed at Kyukamura Myoko as a treat for myself and my family. From the moment we arrived, the soothing aroma helped us unwind. We relaxed in our Japanese-style Room, enjoyed the welcome coffee, gazed up at Mt. Myoko, and took it easy on the sofa. The Onsen and sauna were very comfortable, but it was truly disappointing that there was no open-air bath. Dinner was the Kanade course and far exceeded our expectations—fresh sashimi, beef shabu-shabu, handmade desserts, and even a rice tasting comparison. Drinks were more reasonably priced than I expected as well, so we were very satisfied with the meal. Slightly tipsy afterward, we roasted marshmallows at the outdoor bonfire area (free of charge) and spent some time chatting with family and other guests while watching the flames. Breakfast also featured many Niigata specialties (tare-katsu, fried tofu, soba noodles, Koshihikari rice, Yasuda yogurt...), so much that we couldn’t finish everything—and we were truly satisfied. Overall, it was an Accommodation where we could really relax at a slow pace, and I would love to stay again with my family.

Stayed at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and provided attentive service. The room was clean and comfortable. Meals were delicious and served in a semi-private dining area. The open-air bath had excellent water quality. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

Unfortunately, it started raining midway, so we couldn't enjoy the starry sky or fireworks, but the staff at the accommodation were kind, and we had a great time experiencing glamping for the first time! As mentioned in other reviews, although there were three of us, the breakfast portion seemed to be for two people. The meat at the evening barbecue was very delicious.

I stayed here after being captivated by the night-view photos of the Onsen. Since this was a family trip with small children, I wasn’t expecting a luxury Ryokan, but because it’s located where you can take in a sweeping view of Toyama City (and even across to Imizu City), I never got tired of the scenery—sunrise, sunset, and night. Honestly, this location is truly one of a kind and priceless; it was far better than staying at some mediocre high-end Ryokan. I’ll upload my clumsy photos, but in person it’s 10 or 20 times more impressive. On the way to the Onsen there is a corridor explaining the history of the Kureha Hills, and I could really feel how much care and affection the staff have for this place and for this Hotel. The Facility is certainly Showa-era in style, but that actually made me feel even more attached to it. I felt genuinely happy to have discovered—and stayed at—this kind of Hotel. I also want to mention the breakfast buffet. Above all, I was amazed at how delicious the rice was. That wonderful white rice with miso soup and grilled fish in the morning—along with sides like okra and vinegared dishes—was something I truly enjoyed. Depending on where you’re going, if you plan to visit Toyama City or nearby Imizu City or Takaoka City, this is definitely a great choice. My kids absolutely loved Kodomo Mirai-kan at Taikoyama Land, so we’ll probably go back to Toyama next year—and when we do, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again. Once or twice a year, I take a solo trip from Kyoto. Since I’m usually stuck at my desk doing computer work, doing a workation in an Onsen has become my go-to, and this Ryokan is one of my regular choices. I can spend some time away from my laptop, relax in the Onsen, enjoy delicious meals, and chat with the proprietress and owner. After time like that, I always head home feeling refreshed. I stayed with the seasonal kaiseki plan, and everything from sashimi to hot pot and kamameshi was plentiful—I was completely full and very satisfied. Breakfast is included in the morning; I’m hooked on pouring a soft-boiled egg that’s been soaked in dashi over rice. Then I finish with Onsen miso soup. I’d like to visit again on my next day off.

The Room was spacious enough for a solo stay and very clean, so I could relax comfortably. The Onsen was a bit hot for me, but it felt wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. If I visit the Iwaki area again, I would definitely like to stay here again.

The Accommodation offered convenient access in all directions, delicious meals, and excellent value for money. Recommended if you don’t mind that the Room does not have a private toilet or washbasin. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi was not provided by the Facility, but via an external free Wi-Fi service (with a time limit). If that doesn’t bother you either, we recommend it.

Amazed by how delicious the food was! Honestly, since it’s in the countryside I didn’t expect much, but dinner was surprisingly good. Everything was tasty with Kanto-style seasoning, and the simmered sea bream head was outstanding. In each appetizer, you could feel the chef’s love for cooking. The local specialty, Iwakuni sushi, also had a gentle flavor and was exquisite.\nFor the Room, we recommend the second-floor corner Room where Uno Chiyo’s father once indulged in lavish stays.

This was my first stay, and the staff were very attentive. The meals were delicious, and the hot spring was excellent. I would love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

I had long wanted to stay at your inn, well known as a famous matsutake-producing area and featured many times on TV. Thanks to the Iwate Wari discount that went on sale on 9/1, we received a 7,000 yen per person discount, and combined it with an additional Yahoo Travel discount, so we were able to stay at a great price. This was a small trip for a couple in our early 60s whose four daughters are already independent. The building showed its age, but it was well cleaned and never felt unpleasant. The bath wasn’t a hot spring, but the water—further filtered from Ryusendo’s water—felt wonderful; I soaked three times during our stay. The meal we’d been looking forward to was an incredible amount. The main matsutake sukiyaki was outstanding, full of rich matsutake aroma and absolutely delicious. The appetizer included matsutake nigiri sushi and even pre-dinner matsutake sake—both very distinctive. There were also seafood such as hoya (sea squirt) and sashimi; rare delicacies like manbo (sunfish) sashimi and kowada; two small mountain-vegetable side dishes; then came matsutake chawanmushi, followed by dobin-mushi—and just when we were already full, matsutake soba arrived. That finished us off. Finally there was matsutake kamameshi rice and dessert—the fragrance of the matsutake from the pot rice was amazing. Still… we couldn’t finish everything. When that happened, the attendant kindly brought plastic wrap for us. We ended up taking it home and having it for dinner the next day as well. Thank you for the wonderful feast. There were quite a few guests, so the dining area was crowded. Even so—though I felt a bit bad asking—I requested a photo with my wife, and they happily agreed. Thank you! We’d love to come again next year—hopefully with discounts available again ( ´∀｀ ).

Because our last stay was so great, we chose to return again this time. Once again, the staff were courteous, and the Room was clean and comfortable. We felt at ease and were able to relax throughout our stay. This is a Hotel that makes you want to stay again. We would love to visit again next time!

Because I stayed on a day with availability, I was able to use most of the shared facilities almost exclusively, so it was great to stay at a low price. The bath with an Onsen-like feel was also nice. Since the toilet and bath are shared, I think this is a good Accommodation as long as it’s not during busy periods.

The warmth of the wood, the onsen, the delicious meals, and the heartfelt hospitality were truly impressive. I would love to visit again and perhaps stay in the annex next time or reserve a meditation room. Thank you so much!

We stayed with our 3-year-old child. Since we were in the LOCA THE CLASS Room, there was a sauna in the basement and a large bath that could fit about 4–5 people. Including the post-bath relaxation area, it was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. It was great that even with a child, we could bathe comfortably. There was also a refrigerator in the changing room, stocked with plenty of bottled water. It was very helpful to be able to drink cold water immediately after bathing or using the sauna without having to go up to the living room on the first floor. We didn’t use them, but there were also powdered drinks provided for before and after the sauna. The living room was spacious as well, and there were two bedrooms. The Japanese-style Room had a tatami area that became almost full once two futons were laid out, which made it feel safe and comfortable for our child at bedtime. On the other hand, there was one disappointing incident during our stay. Early in the morning, the fire alarm suddenly went off with a loud siren throughout the Accommodation. We were later told it was due to an accidental operation in another Room, but it took about an hour for security staff to check and reset everything. During that time, the alarm kept sounding continuously, so we evacuated with our child to a relatively quiet terrace. Afterward, an operator contacted us to confirm what had happened and asked whether we would still be able to make checkout on time. Since it overlapped with breakfast and getting ready in the morning, we explained it would be difficult and they extended our checkout by about 30 minutes. We appreciate their consideration; however, we had hoped to spend a relaxing morning (including enjoying another bath), so that part was unfortunate. I also saw other Reviews on different sites mentioning issues related to fire alarms. As it seems many guests come from overseas as well, I would appreciate it if you could consider measures to prevent recurrence—such as providing clearer instructions at check-in on how to handle fire alarms. Overall, both the Facility and Room itself were extremely comfortable—this is a wonderful Accommodation that is easy for families to enjoy.

Despite staying right in the middle of the Obon holiday period, we were able to book at a very reasonable price. The dinner had an amazing variety of dishes—we were surprised—and both the portion size and taste were completely satisfying. We did notice a few areas where the building and air conditioning could use more attention, but overall we were very happy with our stay. We were even able to watch the Perseid meteor shower from the balcony late at night. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

We had a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, which we really appreciated. We were also able to use the laundry facilities and were very satisfied. For breakfast, my husband had the Japanese set and I had the Western set, and we both enjoyed it. The price was reasonable for two people, so we were glad we could stay at an affordable rate.

It was my first time visiting the Oki Islands, and their advice on sightseeing routes was very helpful. The Hotel was within walking distance from where we parked the rental car. There was also complimentary coffee and tea service on the first floor, so we could relax and take our time.

This was my first stay. The location was excellent, and above all, the Room was very clean. It felt spotless and I was very satisfied.

We stayed as three families this time. Although it was June, the rainy season had already ended and there were no typhoons, so we had perfect sunny weather every day—an amazing location. The ocean and the pool were both beautiful, and we spent most of our time in Okinawa enjoying ourselves at the Hotel. In any case, the ocean and pool are outstanding. We stayed in the South Tower, and since the Main Tower and South Tower are separated it felt a bit like a maze, but the kids enjoyed that “maze” feeling, and we did too—saying it was good exercise after meals. The food was delicious, and we felt each staff member’s hospitality was excellent, so we would like to stay again. Also, the zipline drone video footage was incredible and truly moving—our top recommendation. The bath water temperature was quite hot and our child didn’t soak in it, so we think it would be better if it were a little cooler. Also, having cups available—not just a water dispenser—would make it easier to drink. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us during our stay.
