I stay here frequently. I always feel relaxed thanks to the hospitality, meals, Room, and Onsen. The meals are very delicious—so much so that I end up overeating. The Room is also great: it’s comfortable for working and comes with an Onsen, making it perfect for a refreshing break. I will definitely stay again.

We stayed to recuperate after an illness during the intense heat. We would definitely like to come again in every season. The view from the Room and the night scenery were very soothing. The hamo hot pot kaiseki was exquisite.

Thank you for the delicious meals, the well-maintained facilities, and the true free-flowing Onsen from the source, which allowed us to relax both body and mind at a leisurely pace. We would love to stay again in a different season.

This was our seventh stay. We stayed to celebrate a 60th birthday. They prepared a red celebratory vest and a congratulatory plate, which made it a wonderful memory. The meals were also very delicious. We will visit again.

Since my femur fracture, we’ve been staying in a Room with an open-air bath, and we’re completely satisfied with the meals, the Room, and the bath. The staff are wonderful as well, so we keep coming back. It’s a bit far away, but it’s our couple’s motto: “For birthdays, we come here.”

I’m a repeat guest every time. It’s conveniently located near the station, the rooms are clean, and the bathroom is also spotless. The free breakfast (light meal: toast) is delicious as well. It’s quiet and I can sleep comfortably. I’ll stay again if I have the chance. Thank you.

As it was my birthday month, a birthday card had been placed on the table in my Room, which warmed my heart. For dessert at dinner, they kindly served a small cake and a cocktail, which made me unexpectedly happy. After checkout, while I was waiting in the lounge with some time before the Shuttle Service arrived, they asked if I would like some tea—I was truly touched by their thoughtfulness. With such attentive care like this, it made me want to stay again.

Even though I arrived late, the front desk staff were kind and made me feel at ease.

Thank you for everything. The hospitality was outstanding. The meals, in particular, were exceptional, and we enjoyed the many thoughtful touches. Since we arrived a bit late, I wish we had checked in earlier so we could relax and explore the area. I recommend arriving early. At first, it was difficult to connect to the Room Wi-Fi, which was stressful, but I eventually gave up and simply enjoyed the nature and the baths. It made me realize that spending time that way once in a while is nice too. Next time, I would like to visit again in a different season to enjoy the nature and the food.

Because it was a three-day weekend right at the start of summer vacation, it ended up a little over our original budget—but we wanted to stay here so badly that we made the Reservation anyway. And once we actually stayed… it was worth every yen—no, even more than that. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was even better than expected: right in front of us were white sand and a blue sea. There were quite a few families and international guests, but at night it was very quiet. You can head straight to the beach from the Hotel, and everything was thoughtfully prepared—dedicated beach sandals, a washing machine, towels, and more. I also really appreciated that when you take off your slippers there, you can place them neatly into a shoe box labeled with your Room name—something I found especially reassuring as someone who’s a bit particular about cleanliness. The Room was truly spacious, spotless, and very functional. Everything felt refined from corner to corner—the washbasin, furnishings, wall colors, decorations—all beautifully coordinated and calming. A small detail, but the loungewear fabric was very soft and had buttons so it stayed in place comfortably. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room had excellent water quality and temperature. Being able to soak slowly while looking out at the ocean—with no insects flying around—was pure bliss. We enjoyed our in-room meals while chatting pleasantly with our attendant; everything was delicious. The simmered whole kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially impressive—large and full of flavor—truly “this is Izu!” That said, personally I would have preferred beef as steak (even a small portion) rather than chilled shabu-shabu wrapped with vegetables. If many guests are older adults, it would be great if there were an option available even with an additional charge. Breakfast included many dishes as well—I ended up eating quite a lot first thing in the morning! Overall this Accommodation deserves high marks across the board; if I had to be strictly critical, dinner alone could have felt slightly more luxurious or surprising—something that makes you think “This is exceptional—I’ve never tasted anything like it.” Even so, it was such a wonderful Accommodation that I absolutely want to return again next year. I stayed for work, and the room was spacious and clean, with excellent meals. The directions and assistance from the front desk when I went out for dinner were also great, making it a pleasant outing. I would like to visit again with my family next time.

The Room is spacious. The bathroom is also large and separate from the toilet. The linens are new and clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of items and is quite tasty. There is a 7-Eleven nearby, as well as affordable coin-operated parking, which is convenient. For that price, no complaints.

A 3-minute walk to the station and a 6-minute walk to AEON Tokoname. It’s also just one stop from the airport.\nAlthough we stayed for one night, parking was inexpensive because it wasn’t peak season—1,500 yen for five nights.\nI think this Hotel can be used differently from those adjacent to Centrair.\nThe Room was spacious and clean.\nWe appreciated the staff’s courteous service.\nBreakfast is provided as a complimentary service.\nBy the way, there was a shuttle bus from the station to downtown Tokoname.

This is a highly recommended glamping Accommodation. Many of the staff are young, and everyone provides outstanding hospitality. They also replied quickly to questions we sent by message before our stay, which made us feel reassured from the start. We visited in mid-July, and since the weather wasn’t great, the temperature didn’t get too high and we stayed comfortable. (On sunny, hot days, it may get a bit warm inside the tent. There is air conditioning, but it’s not very powerful.) Basically, everything you need is provided. (Coleman BBQ grill, charcoal, fire starters, tongs, fan, etc.) This time we stayed on a Plan that included dinner with late check-in. The meal came with beef, chicken, pork, and even game meat—honestly more than enough for a family of four with a teenage boy who eats a lot. Since we had a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights), they were flexible in helping us store what we couldn’t finish and even switching the next day’s meat to seafood as needed, which was wonderful. Both my spouse and I enjoy alcohol, so we really enjoyed the all-you-can-drink option. The selection was so good it almost felt unfair for an unlimited plan—and we were able to fully savor drinks unique to Hokkaido as well. They also had soft drinks like Hokkaido apple juice and milk (and it was delicious), which our teenage son definitely appreciated. There’s also a toaster so you can warm up bread you buy yourself, and coffee is available both hot and iced—truly attentive service throughout. You do need to leave the tent to use the bath and toilets, but neither felt crowded at all; everyone seemed considerate and kept things clean. It can feel slightly scary if you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night (haha), but there are lights everywhere so it still feels safe. There is also a private sauna available for an additional fee; being able to relax there as a family of four may have been our best memory from this trip. Spending quiet time together while listening to the river was truly blissful. This is an Accommodation I’d love to stay at again if I have another chance—thank you very much!

I stayed with you during Golden Week, and I had been hoping to bring my mother next time. She was truly delighted as well. This time, thanks to IKYU’s Diamond benefits, we were able to spend an even more elegant and relaxing time. By chance, we stayed in the same Room as last time, and the Room number matched my eldest son’s birthday, which felt like a wonderful connection. We were also warmly welcomed back with “Welcome home,” which deeply moved us. Your wonderful Hotel and the hospitality of your staff always impress us. Everyone is friendly and easy to talk to with a smile, making our stay truly comfortable. I would love to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

A summer trip to Disneyland enjoyed by three generations of our family. We stayed here so we could enjoy Disneyland with our 2-year-old grandchild. This was our second stay with our grandchild. In the Room, they prepared the beds pushed together, so our whole family could relax and feel safe. For dinner, the Japanese restaurant had a kid-friendly menu for our grandchild. The 24-hour convenience store also had a baby-friendly selection. Drinks such as baby barley tea and water were available as well. We also enjoyed the beautiful pool, and there were summer festival activities like games stalls and Bon Odori dancing, along with events for children held in the banquet hall—making it a wonderful time packed with summer fun. The staff were truly warm at all hours and spoke kindly to our grandchild throughout. The summer of 2026 spent by three generations of our family. Thanks to Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama, we made unforgettable memories as a family. Thank you very much for such a heartwarming stay.

This is my favorite Hotel. This time, I visited with my grandchild for the first time, and we had a wonderful time. The meal at Cape Mondo was also very delicious. However, I was disappointed that the seahorses were gone. I would love to have seahorses kept there again so I can hold one. Whenever I went to the Seahorse restaurant, I always made sure to see them. Thank you in advance.

I booked this on short notice during an unexpected day off, hoping to take my grandchild to the beach. We arrived around 10:00, and thanks to the front desk staff’s courteous guidance, we were able to park smoothly and proceed through check-in procedures, changing clothes, and luggage storage without any stress. Within an hour, we were already relaxing on the beach. That day, due to Typhoon No. 10, the waves became quite high and swimming was prohibited from 14:00. Even so, with its excellent oceanfront location—and since we could enjoy the pool and park until check-in—my grandchild stayed entertained and was very satisfied. As for the Room, we were upgraded, and through the wide horizontal window we fully enjoyed the privileged feeling of being right on the oceanfront. The staff were pleasant throughout, making it a very comfortable one-night stay.

We stayed at Fugaku Gunjo as a couple during a summer holiday we were able to take at short notice. Away from the bustle of everyday life, we were able to spend unhurried time together in a quiet setting. Even though it was a short stay, it felt deeply fulfilling. Although we were blessed with clear weather on the day of our stay, the typical summer haze meant we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji clearly during the daytime. Then, around 6:00 the next morning, I happened to glance outside and there it was—Mt. Fuji standing out in crisp detail. Its powerful, beautiful summer presence—so different from its snow-capped 모습—left a lasting impression. Listening to cicadas, simply taking in the view and enjoying time doing nothing. Even moments when we would normally keep ourselves busy felt like a luxury here. It was an experience unique to Fugaku Gunjo, where only the sounds of nature blend into the stillness. The dining was also exceptional. The French kaiseki dinner showcased each ingredient with great care, and every course was a pleasure. Japanese and French elements came together naturally, creating refined dishes that remained enjoyable through to the end. Breakfast was equally memorable. The rice cooked in a traditional pot was truly delicious—we realized we had finished every last bite between us without even noticing. We also learned that some of their rice and vegetables are grown on their own farm, and we were impressed by how seriously this Accommodation values its ingredients from the very source. Not just presentation but attention to these details is what elevates the entire stay. What especially stayed with us this time was the hospitality of all staff members. From Shuttle Service to check-in and dining, everyone we met was friendly and welcoming with genuine smiles—and their sense of distance felt perfectly comfortable as well. Their warm hospitality never felt formal or scripted; it put us at ease again and again throughout our stay. Though it was only one night and two days, everything from arrival to departure felt consistently pleasant. Beyond the spectacular views, beautiful rooms, and wonderful food—from growing ingredients on their own farm to thoughtful attentiveness by staff—you can feel careful dedication throughout this Accommodation. Looking back on this trip, it feels less like “an Accommodation you stay at for sightseeing somewhere else,” and more like “a place you travel for in order to spend time here.” Next time, we’d love to visit in another season—and enjoy a trip where staying at Fugaku Gunjo itself is our main purpose once again as a couple.

I visited again for the first time in six years (both last time and this time were almost the same date, just one day apart). I made a Reservation with a Plan of about the same grade as last time, but the price had inevitably gone up (which can’t be helped). The meal content also differed, and the final sea bream rice seemed a bit lower grade than last time (I later noticed there was also a Plan with the same content as before), but both the quality and quantity were excellent. They preserve long-standing traditions while incorporating new touches, and even the tableware is thoughtfully chosen—there’s clear attention to detail that keeps it visually engaging as well as delicious (I’ve stayed at many Accommodations, and this is my favorite in this price range). The service was also excellent. There seemed to be relatively many younger staff members (as I recall feeling last time too), but they are well trained and very attentive without being overbearing, so I was able to relax throughout the night. Since six years have passed since my previous stay, I expected the Room might feel worn, but it was well maintained and felt just as clean as before. I would definitely like to visit again.
