The local dishes prepared by the dining hall hostess were delicious. Thanks to her, we had a wonderful time at breakfast.

Stayed for the Yamame trout and wild boar dishes. The Yamame was prepared in various ways, but the sashimi was exceptionally delicious! According to the hostess, for sashimi, they prepare live Yamame within an hour before serving. It had a refreshing and firm texture with a rich flavor—truly delightful! The facility shows its age to some extent. However, it seems like the bath has been recently renovated and is very clean. There’s an adorable white cat on-site, so you might get lucky and have a chance to interact with it!

I booked this the day before with breakfast and dinner included because the Accommodation I originally wanted was fully booked, and I wanted to watch the fireworks festival from Sakurajima. It was my first time on Sakurajima, and there’s an abandoned Hotel nearby—when I first drove past, I mistakenly passed by this place too (laugh). Check-in is normally from 3:00 PM, but since I arrived early, I called and was kindly told I could check in from 2:30 PM. After a short walk around the area, I checked in at 2:30 PM. I was also able to reserve the private bath for 3:30 PM, so I relaxed in my Room for a while. About the private bath: if you unlock the seaside door, it connects to the men’s open-air bath area. Also, it shares a wall with the men’s changing area with about a 10 cm gap at the top, so please be cautious about privacy. The Onsen water is extremely hot; there are instructions advising you to pour water over yourself with a bucket to get used to it before entering. Passing beyond both the men’s and women’s baths and heading outside down a short slope, there is also a mixed-gender bath located about 1 meter from the sea. Meals are not served in-room; breakfast and dinner are served at a dining venue past the front desk, and both were very delicious. The Room is a Japanese-style tatami room with futon bedding. The in-room bath is an old-style light-blue unit tub of about 1.2 m square. The toilet feels like a Western-style seat added onto an original squat toilet setup, so it’s quite small. The balcony offers stunning views of Kinko Bay, but due to volcanic ash and being close to the sea, railings and other metal parts are quite rusty. Still, considering how thoughtful the staff were as well as the price overall, I think it’s a very good Hotel. By noon that day when I went to scout Sakurajima Lava Nagisa Park and Yunohira Observatory Deck, many spots were already being held with sheets and camera tripods—so after dinner we drove to the Sakurajima Ferry parking lot, parked there, walked to the pier area instead, sat comfortably at our own pace while watching fireworks—and we were very satisfied.

The location is excellent, with easy access to the station and downtown. The building is clean and well maintained, and housekeeping is thorough. The Room isn’t large, but you can relax comfortably with twin beds. The front desk staff also provided clear and courteous explanations. It seems that check-in and check-out times must be strictly observed, but if you can follow them, it’s no problem at all—overall very reasonable for the price. I would like to stay here again.

There were no other guests staying besides us that day, so it felt like we had the Accommodation to ourselves. Perhaps because of that, the Room had a musty smell, but the meals and the Onsen were excellent. We were served five thick, large slices of seared bonito with absolutely no fishy odor; that alone was well worth it. On top of that, dinner was highly satisfying, with plenty of local ingredients such as salt-grilled amago trout. Breakfast also featured delicious rice and a selection of healthy side dishes—gentle on the body. The Onsen water had a silky texture and warmed us up thoroughly.

The Room with a loft was a big hit with the kids. It also had a mini-kitchen, tableware, and a table and chairs, which made it easy to have meals. It wasn’t very spacious, but we stayed comfortably. We’d like to stay here again when we’re in the area. We’d also love to try staying in one of the cottages.

I was just staying, so I don't think I have the right to say anything, but the reception and service were handled by foreigners. I think they provided service even better than Japanese people! Thank you very much! No meals, standard amenities, no large public bath. No issues in various respects.

We stayed as a family of five. It is in a quiet area near the Kyoto Imperial Palace, so we were able to relax. There was a private courtyard, and the view was lovely. Since there were five of us, it felt a bit cramped once three futons were laid out in the tatami room, but considering the price, we were able to stay at a very reasonable rate. We would like to stay here again when visiting Kyoto.

Breakfast is served buffet-style and offers excellent value for money. Free drinks are also available, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which was very convenient. I’d definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

The private room is spacious enough for a bed and unpacking, with large windows that let in plenty of light. The simplicity of the room felt refreshing. There is space for a large suitcase, additional storage areas, shelves above eye level, and below them are a TV, refrigerator, and trash bin. While there are no amenities such as yukata or pajamas or even tissues provided, the bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. For me, it was sufficient accommodation at this price point. The flooring felt slightly rough but was easily cleaned with my own wet wipes. Handwritten guides in English and Korean were placed around the accommodation, creating a friendly atmosphere. Due to time constraints, I couldn't use the bath but used one of the shower rooms located on floors 1–3 instead. The changing area was spacious and clean as well as the shower itself—very comfortable overall. I stayed for one night from Saturday afternoon check-in until early Sunday morning after returning late at night by train; it was completely quiet throughout my stay allowing me to sleep soundly without any disturbances. Due to a chronic illness, I visit Tokyo Women's Medical University in Wakamatsu-Kawada. On days with early appointments, I have stayed here several times to avoid the morning rush hour in Tokyo. It’s just one station away or about 1,500 yen by taxi to Wakamatsu-Kawada, which is very convenient for my condition. Despite being close to Kabukicho in the neighboring area, it feels surprisingly safe here. The Room is spacious enough for one person and comes with all basic amenities. The microwave is particularly handy. I’ve never had any complaints about cleanliness either. All the front desk staff I've interacted with so far have been foreigners who speak polite and fluent Japanese. They likely speak their native language, English (as their first foreign language), and Japanese (as their second foreign language), which shows how hardworking they are!

Stayed during a trip to OKNW after several years. Chose this accommodation because I wanted to enjoy "GOURMET" and "souvenirs" while staying at a relatively affordable price. The cozy guest room allowed me to relax, and as a guest, I could purchase discounted tickets for the "Rikkarikka Yu" bathhouse, where I also enjoyed relaxing!

Locals say the food is delicious, so they use the large banquet hall for parties. After enjoying the Onsen and having breakfast, I was satisfied. It tends to be used more by men. Tea is placed in the hallway rather than in the Room.
