Whenever I come to Atsugi, I always stay here. As a former local, this is the Hotel I recommend most. If you head toward OK Store as your landmark, it’s right across the street. You’ll pass through Ichibangai, so there are plenty of shops, and it’s also convenient for shopping at OK Store, one of Kanagawa’s larger stores. There’s also the best Western-style restaurant in Atsugi just behind the Hotel—if you’re aiming for their melt-in-your-mouth omurice, this Hotel has the best location. In the morning there is a light breakfast service, and the coffee is exceptionally good. It pairs perfectly with a boiled egg and toast. I always have one cup with breakfast, then another after eating; I put a lid on it and take it back to my Room. Sometimes I also see business travelers taking a cup to go on their way out. The Room is always clean, and they provide a nice set of bath salts and hair ties—great for women guests. Unusually (and very helpfully), there’s also a handheld mirror, which is convenient for contact lenses and makeup. The internet is fast and smooth as well, which really helps when I need to work. This time, the loungewear had been changed to a silky-smooth type—comfortable to wear and I slept very well. The front desk staff are pleasant too, and they always assist me kindly. The staff who prepare the light breakfast are friendly as well; they regularly check in and restock items so nothing runs out. Since the parking area in front of the Hotel is small, if you’re driving I think it’s best to consult with them in advance.

We rented a whole unit for four for our family of four. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it felt like a room in an apartment building. It’s equipped with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, so you can do simple cooking. We all enjoyed takeout Utsunomiya gyoza together at the dining table. The frozen bento breakfast was also convenient. It was a shame that the receptionist was a bit unfriendly.

The breakfast was very delicious. The men’s bath had a semi-open-air bath, which was very comfortable. During my trip, a button came off my shirt, but the front desk kindly lent me a needle and thread so I could sew it back on.

I was surprised to find someone else being guided to my seat when I returned after getting food during breakfast. Even though there was an "in use" sign on the table and I had left my salad bowl there.

I stayed with my Chi-poo. The Room was clean, and it was great to have a private open-air bath. It would have been perfect if we could dine in the restaurant together with our dog. The on-site dog run is covered with wood chips, which is a thoughtful, dog-friendly touch. The staff were pleasant, and it was a wonderful Accommodation. At check-out, we also received a discount voucher for our next stay, which makes it easy to return.

This is what a great Accommodation should be. It met my expectations—and exceeded them. From the complimentary herb-infused water made with herbs from the garden to the various cordial syrups and even a sake bath, every detail was thoughtfully considered. The olive kaiseki dinner left a strong impression of Shodoshima. I truly hope to return.

I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Room. The view was great, and the Room was spacious, which I really liked! There is one large public Onsen bath and one semi-open-air bath. They are not very big, but they warmed me up well. I’d like to stay again.

Their hospitality really comes through. The bath was great, and I thought the water in the bath area tasted better than anywhere else. The shampoo bar was also excellent, and the curry meal was a delicious spice curry. There were two types of beds; both were great, and I ended up trying both—sorry! This Hotel is very considerate of guests’ feelings, with thoughtful touches like measures to prevent mix-ups in the changing area and a note asking guests to refrain from using the in-Room massage chair at night. I’d like to stay here again when visiting Onomichi. Even on rainy days, it was a huge help that you can get there almost entirely without getting wet thanks to the covered shopping arcade from Onomichi. The fried rice at Shoya, a nearby ramen shop, is incredible! Onomichi is a town where you’ll never have trouble finding good food.

After watching kabuki at Shochikuza and having dinner in Dotonbori, I stayed here. The rate was reasonable for a Saturday night, and the location was close by and very convenient. The Room was compact, and the amenities were well stocked. The shampoo and other toiletries were from DHC, which felt nice rather than cheap. Since my plan was No Meals Included, I had breakfast at a stylish yet affordable cafe on the first floor of the Hotel. The banana smoothie in particular was delicious. I’d like to stay here again when visiting this area.

I was very anxious because I was staying alone in an unfamiliar place, but the front desk staff were so kind that I felt at ease. Since I stayed for five nights, I expected towel changes and bed making about every two days, but each time I came back, my Room was neatly tidied up, which helped ease my fatigue. The station is close, and they kindly agreed to store my luggage after check-out as well, so I would definitely like to stay again! Thank you very much!

I read the reviews and was looking forward to the food, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Instead of just a small portion in the middle of a large plate, each dish was beautifully presented and generously served, with every bite being absolutely delicious—100% satisfaction guaranteed! I wish restaurants in Tokyo would take note (laughs). The conversation with the owner was delightful, and their attentiveness and thoughtfulness were deeply appreciated. This is what true hospitality feels like. Thank you so much for everything. I look forward to visiting again!

We stayed at the property after climbing Mount Kuju. It was close to the Maki-no-toge trailhead, and after having tea at Shetani, we headed to Hanashinobu. We arrived at 4 PM and received a detailed explanation of the stay from the proprietress before heading straight to the onsen. The quality of the water was good, and there were various onsen options to choose from, which was very pleasant. Dinner was at 6 PM, which was perfect timing. The dinner was luxurious and very delicious. The room was warm, and we slept comfortably. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, and we were very satisfied. We would like to visit again. The owner and the proprietress were kind, and it was a warm property.

Both dinner and breakfast were excellent! Dinner was a set course meal, and everything tasted amazing. We were completely full. It was a refined, adult-style menu, but my daughter also found it delicious and ate everything. It was truly wonderful.

This was my first stay here. The staff were very courteous, and the meals offered a wide variety of dishes. Being served in the Room allowed us to relax and take our time. I did notice some dark staining on the shower hose and floor in the bathing area, but there were many types of facial cleansers and serums available, as well as horse oil shampoo, which left both my skin and hair feeling great. Early in the morning by the sea, I went fishing at a spot I was shown and caught plenty of good-sized whiting. Because of the heat, it was a short trip, but I was very satisfied with the catch. Next time, I’ll visit during a cooler season. Overall, I was extremely satisfied—especially with the meals! Thank you again, and I look forward to staying with you again.

I previously stayed at “KKR Kyoto” and liked it very much, so this time I chose “KKR Dogo.” 1) About a 10-minute walk to Dogo Onsen. 2) Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and excellent. After all, one of the best parts of traveling is the food, and I was very satisfied. However, at breakfast I would have appreciated an explanation about getting refills of rice. Overall: five stars.

My first stay at APA Hotel was truly relaxing, thanks to the sauna, cold bath, breakfast buffet, and a great Room. The large bed and big TV were excellent. The 90°C dry sauna and the pleasantly mild cold bath at around 20°C were perfect. The beef curry at the breakfast buffet had generous chunks of meat and tasted great. The location is also convenient—close to the station, with a convenience store and Don Quijote nearby, plus a train view of the Yokohama Line. I would like to stay again.

We had a very comfortable stay. The food was delicious, and we were satisfied with the service. Since the Hotel is deep in the mountains, we felt a little uneasy on the way there, but we would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

The Facility was very clean and comfortable, and it felt like coming back to the countryside. The bath was private, and having meals served in our Room was wonderful. The futon was fluffy, and I slept soundly. The hostess had a calm, relaxed manner that put me at ease, and the hospitality was outstanding. Thank you very much.

We stayed at this Accommodation during our family trip to Hiroshima and Shimane over the Obon holidays. The Room had a wonderful Showa-retro atmosphere—nostalgic, calming, and very charming. Everything was thoroughly cleaned, and we were able to relax in great comfort. The bath was under renovation during our stay, but the staff kindly provided a Shuttle Service to a nearby Facility, so we were able to use it without any inconvenience. We truly appreciated their thoughtfulness. Above all, the meals were outstanding! Both dinner and breakfast were generous in portion size, and the Jinseki beef was absolutely superb. The fluffy rolled omelet at breakfast was also delicious—our whole family couldn’t stop saying how good it was. We were also told that there are salamanders in front of the Accommodation, so we went to take a look. One even came close as if it had come out to meet us, which delighted our entire family. It became one of our favorite memories from the trip. Thanks to the lovely Room, delicious food, and the warm hospitality of all the staff, we had a wonderful time together as a family. We would love to stay again when we travel to the Hiroshima area. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay.

For the first time in 35 years since my stay at Irago View Hotel, I visited again with my daughter’s family, booked two Rooms, and enjoyed the pool and the views with my grandchildren. After the renovation, everything was clean and updated, and the buffet had a great selection—excellent value for money. It’s a great place to enjoy summer with family. The buffet staff were also very kind and helpful. We fully enjoyed both the sunset and sunrise and were very satisfied.
