Every Richmond Hotel is wonderful, no matter the location! This Room was prepared exactly as I requested in advance, it was spacious, the bathroom was reasonably large, and the cleaning was perfect—there were zero complaints. If I had more time, I’d love to stay long-term. I’ll definitely stay again if I have the chance!!

It was an outstanding Hotel in every way! For lunch, I had ramen at the Hotel, and it was delicious with three slices of tender seared chashu pork. The Onsen and sauna were also excellent! Every meal was delicious, and even the bread was unbelievably good!

This was my first time staying here. I’d been curious for a while, and it was just as I expected—I really liked it. The building may not be brand-new, but perhaps it has been renovated; I had no inconveniences at all. The meals and the bath were both very relaxing. If my schedule allows, I’d like to visit again later this year for about two nights, and I look forward to staying with you again then.

We stayed here to enjoy swimming at Shirarahama Beach. Before check-in, they let us use the changing room and paid lockers, and we reached Shirarahama Beach in just a few minutes on foot. They also have an air pump for float rings, of course. After swimming, we could rinse off the sand with the outdoor warm-water shower and then head straight to the Onsen, which was great. Both the Room and the Facility were clean, and there were free drinks available throughout the property—we enjoyed them after bathing and while waiting for the elevator. The plum soda was delicious. The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was tasty. It was also nice that freshly cooked steak and tempura were brought directly to our table. Since our buffet time slot was later, we were able to go see the sunset at Engetsuto Island before dinner. Even after checkout, they offered parking for 1,000 yen, and told us we could use the paid lockers—and even use the baths after 2:00 PM—so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy an Onsen after coming back from the beach before heading home. If you’re going swimming at the beach, this place is absolutely “Musashi”! It was that good. All of the staff were kind, and it made for a truly great trip. Thank you very much.

It was a very stylish Hotel and felt clean, and as soon as I entered the lobby it felt open and spacious—somehow it was very comfortable. There is also a free Shuttle Service, and the location is excellent. A design Hotel where every detail feels different from others. The exposed concrete walls created a great atmosphere.

We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

I personally love the Genroku-no-Yu bath, though it may not be to everyone’s taste. The route to the annex can be hard to find, so it’s best to ask the front desk for clear directions first.

The Room, bath, and bedding were all clean, and everything was comfortable—I was very satisfied. The large public bath also had many different types of baths, which I really enjoyed. The lukewarm bath felt great, the sauna was hot, and it helped me recover from fatigue. There were many great points, but the breakfast was especially delicious—I was truly impressed. The seasoning of each dish, the portion sizes, and the freshness were at a level you rarely come across. I’d love to have it again. Thank you to everyone in the kitchen and restaurant. When I visit Matsuyama again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you for taking such good care of me!

On a whim, I decided to visit Himeji Castle and made a Reservation. Maybe because it was a weekday, I was able to stay at a very reasonable price. I booked a single Room, but it turned out to be a twin, so there was plenty of space and I could relax comfortably. The complimentary pillows you can borrow were especially great. The bed firmness was just right, and I slept soundly stretched out. I’m picky about pillows and use an expensive one at home, but this was even more comfortable than sleeping in my own bed. The tea bags available next to the front desk also had a wide selection—I tried rooibos and jasmine tea, and both were delicious. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff were also very courteous. I’d like to stay here again if I have the chance. By the way, Himeji Castle is on the opposite side of the station from the Hotel, so you can’t see it from the Hotel.

Thank you very much for your kind hospitality. The view of the Pacific Ocean from the open-air rooftop observation bath on the 10th floor was truly breathtaking and wonderfully liberating. Even though I forgot my mobile phone, you kindly helped look for it and even delivered it to the station—I was deeply grateful. Thank you again. I look forward to staying with you again.

I stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast included. The meals used local ingredients and were lightly seasoned, letting the natural flavors shine—everything was delicious. The Onsen was fed directly from the source, and my skin still felt smooth the next day. Despite the homey atmosphere, I could really feel their hospitality. I also appreciated that they served our meal quickly so we could go see the fireflies.

I made a Reservation for two nights, but it was so comfortable that I ended up staying three nights. From check-in, all the staff made a great impression—they were friendly and easy to talk to, so I felt relaxed right away rather than feeling like it was our first meeting. Since pets are welcome, I got to meet adorable dogs every day, and I also appreciated how kindly the staff interacted with them. They even took photos of visiting dogs, placed them in a mini album, and kept it in the lobby for guests to browse freely. The shop staff also seemed to love dogs—giving them treats and chatting with them created such a warm atmosphere. The staff were kind both to guests and to their dogs. Meals during a Multiple Night Stay can start to feel repetitive, but on both the second and third nights we received one special dish each as part of the Multiple Night Stay service—something not available at the buffet—which made me very happy. With the buffet, I treated it like “If I miss something today, I’ll try it tomorrow,” and managed to try everything over dinner (laugh). Breakfast included bread, yogurt, milk, and smoothies, so I mainly enjoyed bread-based options. At dinner there was unlimited soft drinks; at breakfast there were milk, smoothies, lemon water, and coffee. Alcohol at dinner cost extra, and there was also an all-you-can-drink Plan. My Room was a spacious Japanese-Western style room with two beds. Since I mentioned in advance that my knees aren’t great, they kindly arranged a Room on the 3rd floor near the elevator—I really appreciated that. The location of the Room was surrounded by trees and stayed quite dim even during the day (so we kept the lights on), but there is a free shuttle bus for hot-spring hopping to Mori no Soran iwa nearby. From when the shuttle started running until before dinner each day، I enjoyed their open-air baths، relaxed in their free massage chairs، or lay down on comfortable cushions in their bright spacious lobby. It seems you can use their indoor pool for free as well، but it sounded lively with children، so as an adult traveling alone، I chose instead to take my time enjoying my favorite open-air baths. I bought after-bath pudding and panna cotta at the shop， returned here for dinner， relaxed until bedtime， then went back into the baths again. This Accommodation has more varieties of baths than Mori no Soran iwa؛ if you walk further inside from within大浴場 along its corridor، you’ll find two open-air baths plus scented baths、 standing baths، and more—there’s plenty to enjoy. I’d love to visit again.

I was very satisfied with both the Room and the service. I arrived by car and initially wondered if it would be inconvenient to park at the east exit even though the Hotel is at the west exit, but it turned out to be very convenient. Since I used the station when coming and going, it was easy to buy souvenirs or return extra luggage to my car smoothly. It was disappointing that guests cannot make a Reservation for parking (as the lot gets crowded on weekends, I thought it might be difficult to park again after leaving during a Multiple Night Stay), but I would like to stay here again next time.

My family stayed and they were very pleased. They enjoyed not only the spacious Room but also the Onsen and meals. Thank you very much.

The Hotel was very clean and functional, which was truly great. There were also materials prepared to introduce sightseeing spots and gourmet options around the Hotel, which were very helpful. However, the best part of this Hotel was the front desk staff. The atmosphere they created felt like the ultimate service. I will definitely use this place again when I visit Kanazawa. Additionally, the hairdryer was a big hit with the women in my family!

The male staff member at the front desk provided outstanding service! When I got lost on my first sightseeing trip and asked for help, he kindly guided me. Thanks to him, I was able to enjoy myself and it turned into an amazing trip! I’d love to stay here again. Thank you very much.

A Hotel with an attached golf course, nestled in the mountains. This time, we stayed as a group of golfers and family members who don’t play golf. The golfers found it very comfortable, and it seemed like an excellent Hotel for golfers. On the other hand, even for those of us who weren’t golfing, the rooms were spacious and spotless, and the Facility throughout the building was well equipped, so we had a very comfortable stay. We chose a plan with meals included. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, mainly Japanese dishes without fried foods, so we ended up eating heartily from the morning. Dinner was also delicious. Even though it was a Multiple Night Stay, they prepared different menus each night, which left us completely satisfied. The simmered fish in particular was outstanding—I even went back for seconds of rice. Many of the Hotel staff were friendly and approachable, and whenever we had questions about something we didn’t understand, they kindly helped us. It was quiet at night and made for a wonderful trip overall. We’d love to visit again.

Having an Onsen is a big plus. There are in-house loungewear, and slippers are allowed when going from your Room to the Onsen, so it’s convenient and has a Japanese feel even though it’s a Hotel. All the staff were smiling and often anticipated what we needed before we even asked, which made everything go smoothly. It’s also close to the station, very convenient, and comfortable.

It was a charming and wonderful Ryokan. The staff member who assisted us was courteous, gave clear explanations, and provided pleasant service. The Room had been renovated and was spacious enough. The toilet and shower were separate, everything was kept very clean, and the amenities were well stocked. There was a kettle with hot water as well as a water pot, and two types of teacups, glasses, and more were provided. We could really feel the thoughtful hospitality in every detail. The location was also very convenient, close to Izumo Taisha Shrine.

We stayed with our children. Since it was relatively affordable, we didn’t have high expectations, but we were glad we could spend our time comfortably. Choosing a property with a pool was the right call in case of rainy weather! They also lent out round swim rings and arm floaties, and there was a lifeguard at the pool. The staff—parking attendants, front desk, breakfast venue staff, and pool lifeguards—were all courteous, which made our stay very pleasant. I’m giving slightly fewer stars because there is no large public bath.
