Although it’s close to the station, Yokohama Station is so large that I still got a bit lost. However, I found my own landmarks, so next time I’ll be able to get there without any trouble. The unexpected surprise Room upgrade on the day, the amenities, the separate pajama set, and the wide variety of teas made for a very relaxing stay. I will stay here again when I’m in Yokohama.

We stayed to celebrate two birthdays and a 70th birthday. Everyone provided wonderful hospitality, and we were satisfied with everything. At dinner, they wrote a message on the dessert plate, which made our stay truly memorable. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The meals were truly delicious, and I was especially happy to see my mother—who usually eats lightly—enjoy so much. Even while you were busy serving, you were very attentive, and when we shared how impressed we were with the dishes, you kindly explained the ideas and techniques behind them. It made for a wonderful time. We felt refreshed by the pleasant Onsen and your thoughtful hospitality. My mother is already excited to come back next time with her friends. I would also love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

This was my first trip to Iwate Prefecture. It’s far from home, so I hesitated a bit, but since I could use a municipal Discount Coupon, I decided to book—and I’m glad I did. I had seen a Review saying check-in took a long time, but for me it was around 3:50 p.m. on a weekday and everything went smoothly with no issues. The Room was new and impeccably clean. It was a Room with a semi-open-air bath, and I really appreciated having two bath mats and two thick bath towels per person. The tuna carving show was fun, and the food was delicious. What impressed me most was the excellent service. I wish I could give six stars! From the Shuttle Service driver from Morioka Station to the dining staff—everyone was polite and kind. The temperature of the open-air bath in my Room felt a little cool late at night, so at 5:00 a.m. I called the front desk even though I felt bad about it. They came to my Room right away without showing any displeasure and adjusted the temperature for me. They were so pleasant that it left me feeling warmly cared for, and it really stayed with me. The reason I rated “Guest room & amenities” as 4 is that there were no towels in the toilet area of the Room, and there were no shower caps or hair ties. For women who take multiple baths, these are essential, so please consider providing them. I’m truly glad we made the trip. Even my usually critical husband praised both the meals and how comfortable the Room was. Thank you very much for your hospitality and for giving us such wonderful memories. I would definitely like to stay again.

The other day, I stayed at this hotel to attend “FEST.INAZUMA,” which was held nearby. As a foreigner, my Japanese is not very fluent, but all the staff kindly listened to my requests and provided a lot of support. On my last day after checkout, I was allowed to wait in the lobby for a while until my lost luggage arrived at the hotel. Even though I had already checked out, the staff were very considerate, and I truly appreciated it. The warm hospitality of the staff left a strong impression on me, and I would definitely like to stay here again if I have the opportunity. One request: it would be great if YouTube could be available on the in-room TV.

In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

We were able to relax in a clean room with a great view. It was a hotel with excellent hospitality, and thoughtful touches could be felt throughout. It was our first time on Kouri Island, and we’re glad we stayed here. Thank you to all the staff.

About an 8-minute walk along the main street from Sendai Station, the moment you step through the front entrance you’re greeted by a refreshing fragrance—pleasantly stimulating to the senses. In the lobby, depending on the time of day, there are live piano or pipe organ performances, with plenty of Bach filling the space—another delight for the ears. Even in the large public bath, you can stretch out while listening to Bach—a soothing treat for a body tired from walking. At breakfast, small dishes made with carefully selected Tohoku ingredients are packed tightly across the spread—pleasing to both eyes and palate. With a typhoon approaching and heavy wind and rain outside, we still went to watch the Eagles! This was a wonderful Hotel that became an unforgettable memory alongside Maeken’s milestone 100th NPB win.

Since I had checked in advance that paying for one extra hour would allow a 12:00 checkout, I requested it on the day of my stay and was able to check out at 12:00. The Room was comfortable, clean, and very relaxing. I also appreciated that free drinks such as coffee, black tea, and green tea were always available in the lobby. I was also happy to have complimentary bottled water in the Room. We heard that snacks were available in the lounge, but it seemed they had already ended by the time we went. I wanted to try them, so that was a little disappointing. Breakfast was unique as well—there was bubuzuke (ochazuke), and an unusual tofu served inside something like a balloon that you pop with a toothpick. The nori seaweed was delicious too, and we were told it’s something you can only have at this Hotel. The breakfast restaurant was almost entirely international guests; even though we were in Kyoto, it felt like being abroad, which made the morning fun. When we arrived at the Hotel we didn’t pass any other guests, so it became clear there are many international visitors. The service from both the Hotel staff and restaurant staff was polite and attentive overall—we were extremely satisfied. I would love to stay again.

It was a trip with heavy rain the whole time, but we arrived at the Hotel early and were able to enjoy ourselves a lot. It was disappointing that we couldn’t use the outdoor facilities because of the rain, but our grandchildren and parents enjoyed the indoor Facility, while grandpa and grandma enjoyed the Onsen. However, because of the heavy rain, it was difficult to get to the restaurant. It would have been perfect if it hadn’t rained! The Room was spacious and we were very satisfied. The food was also delicious. If I had one small request, it would be about drinks at places like the restaurant—since we were traveling with a 2-year-old, it would have been nice to have something like barley tea available.\nWe’d like to visit again next time on a day with better weather.

We were very satisfied with both the Facility and the meals. In particular, we were truly impressed by the wonderful thoughtfulness of all the staff—those at the front desk, those who served our meals, those who saw us off at the entrance, and those who kept the property clean. We stayed here on a trip with our dog, and the Room was exactly as advertised as dog-friendly. It was spotlessly clean, and we didn’t need to bring anything from home other than our dog’s food and leash. We could easily cook meals in the Room and eat whenever we liked, and everything was delicious. This was our second time using Rakuten STAY after Nikko, and we’d love to stay again.

The staff were very courteous, and I had a comfortable stay. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area for sightseeing! Thank you very much!

The Room, breakfast, and bath were all clean, and we were satisfied. It’s a little distance from the sightseeing spots, but it’s within walking distance, so I think the location is good. I felt we chose a good Hotel at a reasonable price.

I stayed here last year and had a great experience, so this was my second visit—and I was very satisfied! First of all, all the front desk staff were very kind. The pillow bar was also much appreciated. This time I noticed that the large public bath has three types of showerheads to choose from, which was fun. The bed mattress was very comfortable as well, but the sound from the air conditioning or possibly the bathroom ventilation fan? was a bit loud and bothered me during the night. Shower caps were only available in the large public bath, but I wanted to use one for showering or washing my face in my Room too, so I wish they were available at the amenities bar. However, when I asked at check-in this time, a kind front desk staff member brought me one. Breakfast is always plentiful as well. I enjoyed various kinds of tempura and takikomi gohan even in the morning. It’s right in front of Kyoto Station, but since it’s a small Hotel, there aren’t any noisy tour groups, which is a relief. The next day I stayed at a certain Resort Hotel in Osaka (priced at 2.5 times this one), but in terms of amenities and provided shampoo and other toiletries, this Hotel was actually better. If you’re not looking for on-site restaurants, a spa, or a gym and just want Accommodation with good value for money, I think this place is excellent.

Everything was comfortable, with none of that vague “something’s not quite right” stress. I heard the bath uses water from the Iida Castle Onsen source, and I was very satisfied with the quality—comparable to nearby Hirugami Onsen. It feels silky on the skin, and after bathing your skin is smooth and nicely moisturized. Breakfast was also high quality. I chose a mainly Japanese-style meal with rice, but later tried some bread as well—and it was delicious. There were three kinds available: croissants and breads filled with sweet red bean paste or mini sausages. Even without toasting, they were crisp on the outside and moist inside—truly bakery-level quality. The coffee from the machine also seemed carefully selected: clean-tasting, refreshing, and full of aroma with no unpleasant aftertaste. It’s also great that you can simply leave without any checkout procedure. Highly recommended!

I stayed here on a business trip. It’s not far from the station, and there’s a convenience store nearby, which was very convenient.

It’s close to Yodoyabashi Station, has a large public bath, and was affordable—I was very satisfied! I could use the large public bath almost by myself both morning and night, and the breakfast venue staff were kind; it was a great Hotel. In the morning, when I went to the large public bath in loungewear, I ended up sharing the same elevator with people heading to breakfast, which was a little embarrassing—but we weren’t acquaintances and we were all guests at the same Hotel, so it felt fine. If I can stay for that price on a Saturday, I’d love to stay again!

Both the Room and the service were outstanding! I especially loved how close it is to the shopping street... I was also impressed that amenities such as L’OCCITANE shampoo were provided separately! I’d love to stay again!

I visited on a solo trip to Kyushu. I stayed for two nights, and both dinners were delicious. I could see Sakurajima from my Room, and the Onsen was very relaxing—overall, it was a very satisfying trip. The Shuttle Service from the station was also provided multiple times. However, perhaps due to the extreme heat of the season, the air conditioning in the hallway felt weak, and I ended up a bit sweaty on the way back to my Room after bathing.
