I stayed again on the breakfast-only Plan, and this is still a great value Hotel. It’s conveniently located with easy access, and there’s a convenience store and a gas station right next door. There is an in-house bath, but this time I chose the Plan that also includes access to the neighboring public bathhouse. It was clean and the baths were excellent. The breakfast was very satisfying and delicious, with udon and other local specialties. This time I also had dinner at a restaurant on the property, which offered a variety of Shikoku regional dishes, and I was pleased with it. If I have another chance to visit Kagawa, I would like to stay here again.

After about an hour on the Shuttle Service bus from Minobu Station, this luxurious Accommodation suddenly appears deep in the mountains. The lush greenery and the sound of the river were truly refreshing. I had often heard my parents say they spotted it during a drive many years ago, so I visited to check it out. The Room was spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. I thought my elderly parents would enjoy this Accommodation as well, so I made a Reservation for next week too.

The Onsen and meals were excellent.

It was truly the best two days in between the rainy season. I was able to let go of my everyday fatigue and stress. The view from the bath over the Kikuchi River was so breathtaking it felt like I could be drawn right in—I could have looked at it forever. The meals were refined and delicious, perfect for me. In particular, the Shichijo rice was outstanding—shiny and absolutely delicious. The front desk service was excellent as well. I would definitely love to visit again.

Dinner paired with local Hokkaido wines was delicious. The wine selection was impressive—I was amazed at how perfectly a professional pairing matched the dishes. I’ve been to many restaurants around the world, and the wine pairing here is truly outstanding. The rich wine at the end was also excellent. Next time, I’d like to return in winter when temperatures are lower. Another favorite Hotel added to my list!

Thank you again for taking such good care of us. With its excellent location beside the approach to the shrine and within walking distance of Izumo Taisha, along with the Facility lovingly restored from a charming building from days gone by and the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, we were able to spend a truly pleasant time. Even though we visit again at almost the same time each year, the meals are different every time—delicious dishes that highlight local production for local consumption and are also a delight to look at—and once again we finished everything. If I may make one small request: as I get older, it can be difficult to read in the dim, atmospheric lighting. It would be very helpful if you could provide a light stand (even as a loan item) so guests can read books more easily. We look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you very much.

We stayed in “Yamabuki 301” for a refreshing getaway as a couple. Although we arrived a little earlier than planned due to our own circumstances, the staff welcomed us warmly and graciously, which truly impressed us. What stood out most during our stay was the outstanding dining experience. The French dinner was delicate and beautifully presented—something to enjoy with all five senses—and we savored it to the fullest along with the wine pairing. Even after returning to our Room, we found ourselves talking together about the lingering impressions of the meal. The Japanese breakfast was also wonderful: rice, soup, and grilled fish were served at their best—perfectly warm and delicious—and we felt genuine hospitality in every detail. We would have loved it if items like the miso and nori tsukudani served at breakfast were available for purchase at the shop. One reason we chose this Room was its water garden, and it was truly soothing. In particular, the atmosphere of the in-room bath and its perfectly balanced water temperature were exceptional—it melted away all our everyday fatigue. The spa we enjoyed as a couple was also an excellent relaxation experience from start to finish, thanks to attentive service and skilled all-hand treatments. (It would be even better if there were options such as massage Plans focused on deep tissue or loosening tight muscles.) If there is one small point: since it was an extremely hot day when we visited, we wished the refrigerator in our Room cooled a bit more strongly. However, overall satisfaction far exceeded that minor concern—this was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Next time, we’d love to visit in another season to enjoy the changing scenery; in summer, perhaps choose a villa with a pool; and while the French cuisine goes without saying, we’d also like to try Japanese dinner during a Multiple Night Stay. We’re grateful to have found an Accommodation that makes us want to return again. Thank you very much.

My spouse and I stayed in a special Room with a private bath. The moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the breathtaking natural scenery filling the windows and the view of the Kurobe River. In addition to the large public bath and open-air bath, the open-air bath in our Room was also fed directly from the source, with fresh Onsen water continuously flowing. The temperature and water quality were excellent—so soothing that we wanted to soak again and again. Another highlight was that plenty of bath towels were available at both the large public bath and the open-air bath, making it comfortable no matter how many times we bathed. The meals felt less like experimental cuisine and more like carefully prepared Japanese dishes done right—simple, thoughtful, and beautifully finished one by one. The portions were just right, never overwhelming, and everything was delicious through to the end. The staff’s service was also perfect—not too close or too distant—and they spoke to us naturally at just the right moments, allowing us to relax without feeling any pressure. The Onsen, food, views, and hospitality—all of it lived up to its reputation. Thank you very much.

It was my first time visiting Shodoshima. The two-meal Plan at this price is an excellent value. Sashimi was served with five different ways to enjoy it (local soy sauce, olive oil, etc.), and every dish made with local ingredients was very satisfying. The Facility feels a bit dated, but the Room, the bath, the views from the restaurant, and the wonderful service from all the staff greatly increased our overall satisfaction. Thank you very much for taking care of us. I would like to stay again.

Although I often stay in Kirishima Onsen, this was my first time in Hitoyoshi Onsen, so I chose a relatively new Accommodation. It turned out to be the perfect choice, and on the way home my companion and I kept saying, “We’re glad we picked this place.” First of all, the Facility itself is new and very well cleaned, so check-in felt comfortable and pleasant. Next, the baths: both the indoor bath and open-air bath are stone-built with deep tubs; the water was pleasantly hot and gentle on the skin—truly a “beauty bath” quality—and I was very satisfied. Meals were served for both breakfast and dinner using local ingredients in thoughtful detail; everything was delicious in just the right portions. When visiting Kumamoto I had been hoping for basashi (horse sashimi), but it wasn’t included in this Plan; it was available to order separately, so I enjoyed it that way. What helped us most was assistance with making Reservations for lunch the next day and for activity facilities, as well as answering detailed questions. They kindly accommodated our requests—such as “I want to eat seasonal salt-grilled ayu” and “I’d like to try pottery on a wheel”—all with a smile. Thank you also for seeing us off even in light rain without opening an umbrella. The salt-grilled ayu at the restaurant you recommended was excellent, and we each made pottery pieces (a plate, a bowl, and a beer glass). After firing them in the kiln, they will be glazed in our requested colors that same day and then shipped to our home once finished—we’re looking forward to receiving them. I would love to visit again; however, there is one disappointing point: there is only one Room type available for stays of two or more people, so I would appreciate more options. I was very impressed that you came outside to welcome us with an umbrella in the rain. I splurged on a one-night stay at an Accommodation I’d long admired. Having watched it on YouTube, I knew what to expect, but it was still an overwhelming experience. The attentiveness and demeanor of the staff in charge of my Room, along with their polite language, left a strong impression—it truly felt like a luxury Accommodation. The Room was absolutely wonderful, and the private bath was exceptional as well. The cuisine was stylish and very satisfying. They even accommodated my request during the evening performance, making it an unforgettable night that felt far removed from everyday life. I’ve stayed at many Accommodations over the years, and this is the best one yet. Thank you for such a wonderful day.

Perhaps because there was availability on a weekday, they upgraded us to a larger Room. We were very satisfied with the open, airy Room and the mountain views from the large windows in our corner Room. The meals were all delicious, with plenty of dishes, and we left completely full. It was our first time trying venison—it was tender and excellent. The bath and the entire property were clean and very pleasant.

The Accommodation’s Room, meals, and the staff’s service were all exceptionally attentive, and our whole family was delighted. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

I came across this Accommodation while searching online for a place to stay during Golden Week, and it turned out to be wonderful. The staff welcomed us with warm smiles. The food, drinks, and water were all excellent. Since it was spring, I was happy to be able to enjoy mountain vegetables as well. The building and rooms are old, but they have been beautifully renovated with great skill and care. I was very satisfied. There is also a row of cherry trees nearby, so I would love to visit again during cherry blossom season.

Despite the cold weather, they came out to greet us, and their service was kind and attentive. The portion sizes were just right. At checkout, we also received a discount voucher for our next visit, so we would like to stay again.

We stayed in a Room with a private pool at SideB. Both the Room and the pool were spacious, and we were able to relax deeply. The pool, which seems to have been newly built this year, is large enough for serious swimming. All of the Hotel staff were kind, and chatting at the café and during breakfast became one of our highlights. It’s a wonderful Hotel, and we’d love to come back.

Despite changing the number of guests just one day before, they kindly called back and responded promptly. The private bath and the meals were excellent; the hot pot broth was so delicious that we drank it all and ended up completely full. The handmade soba had a great bite, and the freshly cooked rice was glossy and so good that we had seconds even though we were already full. The bath water had natural mineral deposits, leaving our skin smooth and soothing both body and mind from everyday fatigue. Thank you very much.

The meals were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a wide variety of local ingredients, all prepared in different ways, and everything was excellent. The steamed abalone in particular was outstanding. The bath also had a great view and wasn’t crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it at our own pace—perfect. Our family of four had a wonderful time. I’m sure restoring the Facility is challenging, but please keep up the great work.

It was a wonderful Accommodation! It’s old, but very clean, and it felt comforting—like visiting my grandmother’s home. The sea and mountains visible from the Room window were beautiful; I woke up to birdsong in the morning, and it truly soothed my tired mind from city life. And what really deserves special mention is the food. At dinner, we grilled a variety of shellfish right there as we ate, and it was unbelievably delicious. We also enjoyed several other carefully prepared dishes, which reminded us once again how amazing seafood can be. Thank you all for your kindness. Thanks to you, our family was able to spend a truly happy time.
