The baths left our skin smooth just as the Reviews said. Dinner was a kaiseki meal, so we were able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Everything was delicious and had a rustic, home-style feel, which we really liked for its simplicity. Our child was thrilled and said the Hida beef sukiyaki was especially delicious. Some areas (the medium-sized bath) were only accessible by stairs, but it was less crowded and we could unwind peacefully. At check-in, we received a 10% off ticket for the shop and made good use of it when buying souvenirs. All of the staff were very kind, and we were happy that they handled our requests in advance properly. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

Because I live in Kanagawa and this area is so close, I had never looked for Accommodation around here before. Thanks to IKYU, I was able to discover such a wonderful Accommodation so nearby. Although I had seen some comments from other guests complaining about the staff’s service, every member of the team provided warm, hospitality-filled service without exception, and I truly enjoyed my stay in the best possible mood. This is a very quiet Accommodation with only 16 Rooms, and there are Onsen not only in the Rooms but also private baths and a large public bath. The meals were plentiful and well balanced; we were delighted to enjoy grilled char (iwana) with salt and Koshu beef as well. The road leading to the Accommodation is narrow, but as it is the only property there, it felt like a hidden hot spring retreat—absolutely wonderful. Even in this time of labor shortages, an elderly staff member kindly took care of us attentively until the very end. Knowing how demanding it must be late at night and early in the morning left me deeply impressed. They even saw us off until we were completely out of sight. I would love to visit again; however, we were told that only 8 of the 16 Rooms are currently in operation, making Reservations difficult to secure. I am truly grateful for an unforgettable trip accompanied by the soothing sound of the river flowing throughout the night.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay. When I asked to leave my luggage before check-in, you kindly accommodated my request, which allowed me to go about my plans with peace of mind. The moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was enveloped in a refined yet glamorous fragrance that instantly made the experience feel special. All of the staff were impeccably presented, with polished manners and elegant language. Every interaction felt delightful and memorable. The Club Lounge presentations were all excellent. In particular, the Pasha coffee served at afternoon tea and the specially paired sweets were exceptional—I truly enjoyed a luxurious and uplifting time. I also stopped by the bar before bed, where the bartender created one original cocktail after another tailored to my preferences. It felt like being in a dream. In my room, I initially found the shower controls a bit difficult to use, but when I contacted you, a staff member came right away and explained everything clearly, which was very helpful. Above all, the bed was more comfortable than anything I have ever experienced, and I slept wonderfully. Thanks to you, it became an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again. The staff were very kind, and we had a very comfortable stay. When we made the Reservation, only smoking Rooms were available even though we don’t smoke, so we thought it would be fine for one night since deodorizer was provided. In the end, we didn’t notice any cigarette smell at all and stayed comfortably. We also signed up for the morning buffet at check-in, and despite the low price it had a great variety of options and was delicious—we were very satisfied. Thank you!

It was truly the best two days in between the rainy season. I was able to let go of my everyday fatigue and stress. The view from the bath over the Kikuchi River was so breathtaking it felt like I could be drawn right in—I could have looked at it forever. The meals were refined and delicious, perfect for me. In particular, the Shichijo rice was outstanding—shiny and absolutely delicious. The front desk service was excellent as well. I would definitely love to visit again.

From June 28 to 30, just after the typhoon and the end of the rainy season, we were able to arrive in Miyako safely and this was our second stay at Ferris. We were upgraded to a twin-bed Room for our family of three, and it also happened to be my wife’s birthday. The cake and bed decorations were wonderful surprises, making our first trip back to Miyakojima in two years truly memorable. Thank you very much to all the staff. Coming back from snorkeling and slipping straight into the private pool in our Room felt amazing—we could have stayed in forever while looking out at the mangroves. We enjoyed San’s shabu-shabu in our Room, and everything was delicious right down to the soba at the end. Next time, we’d love to try lunch as well! We look forward to staying with you again.

I stayed here while traveling around Kyushu. It was the cheapest Accommodation on my trip, so I didn’t have high expectations, but the staff were very helpful, the bath was great, and the breakfast was excellent and very satisfying. The Hotel is a bit old, but I was very pleased overall. If I have the chance, I would like to stay here again.

We stayed in “Yamabuki 301” for a refreshing getaway as a couple. Although we arrived a little earlier than planned due to our own circumstances, the staff welcomed us warmly and graciously, which truly impressed us. What stood out most during our stay was the outstanding dining experience. The French dinner was delicate and beautifully presented—something to enjoy with all five senses—and we savored it to the fullest along with the wine pairing. Even after returning to our Room, we found ourselves talking together about the lingering impressions of the meal. The Japanese breakfast was also wonderful: rice, soup, and grilled fish were served at their best—perfectly warm and delicious—and we felt genuine hospitality in every detail. We would have loved it if items like the miso and nori tsukudani served at breakfast were available for purchase at the shop. One reason we chose this Room was its water garden, and it was truly soothing. In particular, the atmosphere of the in-room bath and its perfectly balanced water temperature were exceptional—it melted away all our everyday fatigue. The spa we enjoyed as a couple was also an excellent relaxation experience from start to finish, thanks to attentive service and skilled all-hand treatments. (It would be even better if there were options such as massage Plans focused on deep tissue or loosening tight muscles.) If there is one small point: since it was an extremely hot day when we visited, we wished the refrigerator in our Room cooled a bit more strongly. However, overall satisfaction far exceeded that minor concern—this was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Next time, we’d love to visit in another season to enjoy the changing scenery; in summer, perhaps choose a villa with a pool; and while the French cuisine goes without saying, we’d also like to try Japanese dinner during a Multiple Night Stay. We’re grateful to have found an Accommodation that makes us want to return again. Thank you very much.

A solo, relaxing trip with a Multiple Night Stay on weekdays. Grateful for the quiet Room provided in a peaceful area. Thanks to a little daytime drink, I traveled from Okayama Airport by train and bus. Surprisingly, the route bus from Fukuyama Station in Hiroshima Prefecture was closer to the Hotel's nearest bus stop and more convenient than using the Ibara Railway! (This is part of life in the Fukuyama metropolitan area.) Unfortunately, there wasn’t a direct route to neighboring Kasaoka City... While driving is definitely more advantageous for accessing this Hotel’s location, I stuck with using buses. From the nearby supermarket "Izumi Ibara Store," I even took a 100-yen bus to visit "Yomeirazu Kannon" for sightseeing. The still-standing "TSUTAYA FamilyMart Ibara Store" opens as early as 7 AM—impressive! The artificial Onsen was slightly hot at around 43°C; lowering it by 1–2 degrees to about 41°C would be ideal... Perhaps there’s no wall clock visible inside the large bath because everyone takes short baths? The complimentary breakfast at the Hotel was excellent despite being free of charge. The new building offered Rooms facing the national highway but remained quiet and comfortable!!

This was our first overnight stay since our baby was born. To show my appreciation to my wife, who works so hard every day caring for our child, I was looking for an Accommodation where we could relax with a baby without worry—and that’s how we found KURO. Upon arrival, we were impressed by how spacious and spotless the Room was. On top of that, you had prepared a play mat for the baby, a nap futon, and even toys in advance—we were truly touched by your thoughtful attention to detail. Every dish was absolutely delicious and very filling, yet well balanced throughout the meal. We even finished all the rice balls served as a late-night snack between the two of us. We were also able to enjoy the in-room open-air bath at our own pace without worrying about anyone around us. It was wonderful to see my usually busy wife fully relax and feel refreshed. This time we stayed in the Star Room, but once our child turns one and is more active, we’d love to try the Garden Room next time as well. Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay!

The Room was spacious, so we could relax and enjoy a luxurious day!! The outdoor BBQ was also wonderful!! We were also able to visit a nearby Onsen, which was great. Since there weren’t many people, we could take our time and unwind. We’d love to come again.

My son stayed here during a trip to Chiba. Because this Hotel is located very close to the Chiba Park Exit of Chiba Station, I felt comfortable letting him stay there. He was very satisfied with the pillow rental service that lets you choose a pillow that suits you, the welcome drink bar at check-in, the large Onsen bath, and the delicious breakfast. Considering the price for this level of service, I felt it offered outstanding value for money. I’d like to stay here myself someday. Thank you!

Butterbur Shinoda rolls, vinegared dried taro stems, and the breakfast pumpkin soup—everything beyond the main dish was also delicious, with the chef’s kindness and sure touch coming through. The in-room dining service, delivered with just the right timing and a comfortable sense of distance (without over-explaining), is especially appealing. The Onsen in the Room was silky and seemed to cling to the skin; even after returning home, I felt my skin looked “whiter” and noticed a brightening effect. Highly recommended.

This Accommodation comes highly recommended by a renowned Hotel critic. Although it is away from central Nagasaki, I think it is a Hotel well worth going out of your way to visit. The Room was of a level you normally couldn’t stay in at this price. We arrived early for check-in, and the staff recommended a walking route around the Hotel—about 40–50 minutes on foot. Since it feels quite isolated without a car, we also had dinner here. It’s an expensive set-course dinner, so my rating was slightly strict because of the price. They also offer an à la carte menu. For breakfast, I chose the Western option. It felt a little lacking that there was only one type of bread—the same round French loaf as at dinner. The Japanese breakfast might be more recommendable. I requested Shuttle Service from the port and communicated by email; their responses were fast and excellent. That alone shows this is a first-class Hotel. Because of the ferry schedule, it looked like we might arrive just before lunch service ended, but they did their best to accommodate our request (in the end we switched to an earlier ferry so it wasn’t necessary). Also, the ferry from Sasebo was not as rough as I had feared—an easy and comfortable 30 minutes. There’s too much to say here, but I’m truly grateful for all the thoughtful care shown by every member of staff. “A Hotel worth making your travel destination.” That’s what this place is.

Despite the cold weather, they came out to greet us, and their service was kind and attentive. The portion sizes were just right. At checkout, we also received a discount voucher for our next visit, so we would like to stay again.

It was a twin Room, and it was clean and spacious enough. Above all, I really appreciated that both the parking and breakfast at the café were free. The photo shows the breakfast pancakes and French toast with coffee. As a guest perk, we also received a mixed juice. I was also happy that it wasn’t a buffet.

We stayed in a Room with a private pool at SideB. Both the Room and the pool were spacious, and we were able to relax deeply. The pool, which seems to have been newly built this year, is large enough for serious swimming. All of the Hotel staff were kind, and chatting at the café and during breakfast became one of our highlights. It’s a wonderful Hotel, and we’d love to come back.

It was a wonderful, very cozy Accommodation. From the moment you step through the entrance, a beautiful world opens up. The Room, the main house, and all the interior decor were lovely—I found myself wishing I could live in a home like this. I will definitely come again. Thank you very much.

For our annual summer trip as a couple, we made a Reservation at this Accommodation, which we had long wanted to visit. Although the Accommodation is surrounded by the sea, it was calm with very little ocean scent, and the sea breeze felt fresh and pleasant. There are only four Rooms, and after researching in advance, we Reserved a Room close to the deck and the sea—exactly the location we loved. Inside, there was a faint woody aroma. With features like a raised tatami area and subtle variations in the wood grain flooring design, it was simple yet extremely comfortable. It’s a small detail, but I was also happy that they had a high-quality hair iron available. For activities, we tried SUP and the sunset cruise. Even though it was cloudy, it wasn’t too hot—which actually made it easier to enjoy both experiences fully. My husband also enjoyed listening to records on the audio system in the lobby (I think). We had planned to watch the stars by a bonfire after dinner, but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. However, one of the staff kindly prepared sparklers for us instead, and we were able to enjoy them quietly. The meals were course-style dishes that reflected glimpses of unique ideas from the local-born head chef. It was fun even imagining what would come next just from reading the menu. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious; perhaps because of their background in Japanese cuisine as well, I found the dashi-based soup especially outstanding. Also, although everyone working in the kitchen seemed young, they created such a pleasant atmosphere—and each person appeared well trained in their specialty. It was a short trip, but we enjoyed an escape from everyday life and felt refreshed. I think we can go back to work with renewed energy. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that we’d love to return again in another season.

From the small amenities to the staff who warmly enhance the service throughout the Hotel, everything reflected thoughtful attention and a relaxing sense of hospitality. This Accommodation, standing by Lake Matsubara as a continuation of a previously built Hotel, is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed. Thank you very much.
