We usually travel as a couple a few times a year, mainly to Hakone, but this time we stayed one night at “Rinpo Kiryū” for our first family trip, including several celebrations. We have had the chance to visit many Accommodations, but we have never encountered one as wonderful as this—everything from start to finish was truly moving. We arrived about an hour before check-in time, yet we were warmly welcomed without hesitation. From the lovely commemorative photos for our celebration to the heartfelt message card with a photo, we were touched by the surprise hospitality and thoughtful care. We are genuinely grateful to have made so many unforgettable memories for our family trip. Thank you very much. Above all, what deserves special mention is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. From greeting us on arrival to seeing us off at the end, every moment was outstanding, and we were able to spend a truly relaxing time. Our assigned staff member was incredibly kind and always smiling; we enjoyed chatting with them, and our whole family was impressed by their attentive care down to the smallest details. The guidance around the property—like a paradise far removed from everyday life—was also thorough and considerate, and everyone we met greeted us with warm smiles that put us at ease. The Room was very spacious and kept beautifully clean. The bed was also ideal for us—comfortable without sinking in or feeling overly soft. (My wife is quite particular about beds and rarely says this at other Accommodations; I was surprised when she said she wanted to stay another night and didn’t want to go home yet.) During our stay, there was a private open-air Onsen bath exclusively for our Room with free-flowing water from 100% natural source spring water—no added water or heating—from the rare Dogashima Onsen source said to be “legendary,” so we could enjoy an Onsen soak anytime we liked. In addition, there is an indoor hinoki Onsen bath, a private sauna, and even a pool, which allowed our family to enjoy many different experiences together. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; each dish was beautifully presented with great care and full of creative ideas from the chef. There were also many staff members on hand—the service felt perfect. In my experience so far, it’s rare to find an Accommodation where service is this attentive in every respect. More than anything else, being able to stay at “Rinpo Kiryū” became a wonderful experience for our family. Thank you again very much. We would love to visit again.

Thank you for your hospitality the other day. When I told you I can’t eat raw fish, thank you for preparing alternative dishes. The food looked great and tasted wonderful, and we also enjoyed the complimentary extra dish. The bath warmed me up so well that I stayed warm for a long time afterward. The detox water after the bath was also delicious. It was great to be offered a draft beer as a welcome drink at check-in—it was the perfect refreshing drink after a long drive. I would love to stay with you again.

The Room was spacious, so we could relax and enjoy a luxurious day!! The outdoor BBQ was also wonderful!! We were also able to visit a nearby Onsen, which was great. Since there weren’t many people, we could take our time and unwind. We’d love to come again.

It’s a wonderful Hotel. The Facility is a bit old, but it is very clean and well maintained. Perhaps because there aren’t many Rooms, we were able to relax without running into many people in either the restaurant or the baths. The staff interacted with us at just the right distance. Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. This time, we asked just one day in advance for special consideration for one person’s meal, and despite our demanding request, they kindly accommodated us with perfect dishes. Thank you very much. Thanks to you, we had a wonderful family trip. We would definitely like to stay again.

I often enjoy refreshing stays at luxury hotels mainly in central Tokyo with friends, but this time I ventured to Yokohama for the first time. The spacious room offered a wonderful view through the large windows, and I was able to spend a relaxing, luxurious time. When I returned from dinner, the drinks and towels we had used during the day had been replenished, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail and high-quality hospitality. This time, I also enjoyed afternoon tea and a teppanyaki dinner. The afternoon tea was not overly sweet, and it paired beautifully with a wide selection of teas, including original flavors. The teppanyaki dinner highlighted the excellence of the ingredients; every dish was delicious, and I was impressed with each course. From the room to the dining and service, everything exceeded expectations, making it a truly refreshing stay. I would love to visit again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary trip. From the moment we arrived until the very end, we truly had a wonderful time. The Room was spacious and spotless, with thoughtful attention to every detail. It was so comfortable that we honestly wished we could stay there forever. We have stayed at many Accommodations over the years, but this is without a doubt the best one we have ever experienced. We are truly glad we chose “Hakone Gen” for such an important anniversary. We stayed on the Espacio Floor for a Hotel getaway with our baby as a refreshing break from daily childcare. I had pictured Nagoya Kanko Hotel as a long-established, classic Hotel, but the Rooms, lounge, and spa on the Espacio Floor were all beautiful and sophisticated, making for an extremely satisfying stay. Thanks to our Diamond member benefits, we were upgraded to a larger Room. They also lent us a baby crib and a diaper pail, so even with a baby we had no inconvenience at all and could truly enjoy our stay. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and their service was consistently pleasant. We especially loved the lounge on the 18th floor and used it for everything—starting with afternoon tea, then the evening light meal, nightcap service, and breakfast. Perhaps because we stayed on a weekday, there were few guests; combined with the generous spacing between seats, we were able to relax in comfort. The sweets and savory items at afternoon tea were all delicious—we were delighted from right after check-in! The Room was spacious and included both a sofa and dining table. With complimentary minibar items as well, we could unwind not only in the lounge but also comfortably in our Room. After our baby fell asleep, my wife and I enjoyed minibar drinks together at ease—it was wonderfully restorative. Although we didn’t use them since it was only one night, it left an impression that the Room came equipped with a mini kitchen, a BALMUDA toaster oven/microwave combo unit (oven range), and a drum-type washer/dryer. We also appreciated the high-quality amenities: BVLGARI bath amenities, a ReFa shower head, and a REPRONIZER hair dryer. We also used the spa located in an adjacent building. It felt slightly compact but wasn’t crowded—almost like having it to ourselves—and we could relax in such a calm space. As someone who loves saunas in particular, I really liked that they have both an over-90°C dry sauna and cold plunge pool (it would be even better with more of a dedicated relaxation area). With my wife’s blessing I went both at night and again in the morning. Overall this stay exceeded expectations by far—we were extremely satisfied. We would love to return to Espacio again whenever we need another refreshing break from parenting!

What makes your Hotel so exceptional is your challenging spirit—never settling for the current appeal, but always striving to create new moments of inspiration. As a devoted fan of Toba Grand Hotel—and as “Donguri Captain”—please allow me to share a few ideas with heartfelt appreciation: 1) Extend lounge hours (until 11:00 p.m.) Spending time in that sophisticated lounge is truly special. If guests could enjoy complimentary drinks until 11:00 p.m., the evening would become an even more memorable experience. 2) Revitalize the retro game arcade & festival-style corner If an energetic “festival corner” were added to that nostalgic and welcoming game arcade area, it would surely become a signature spot where both adults and children—across generations—could have an amazing time together! 3) Seasonal limited-time “all-you-can-eat fruit” buffet feature For example, “all-you-can-eat strawberries” in early spring or “all-you-can-eat melon” in summer. Having seasonal highlight events at the buffet would help attract repeat guests throughout the year and generate even more buzz—I’m confident it would be a great success. Of course, I fully understand that your staff’s working environment and operational considerations must come first. With that in mind, I would be grateful if you might keep these ideas in mind simply as one fan’s dream of “how wonderful it would be if this became possible.” With Toba Grand Hotel’s potential—and the passion of your entire team—I truly believe you will continue to be the region’s undisputed number-one Hotel. I’ve stayed at several APA Hotels & Resorts, and I’m impressed every time by how wonderful the service is. The VOD includes recent movies (this time they already had the second part of *Wicked*!), the large public bath is spacious, clean, and relaxing, and the breakfast is luxurious and truly delicious. The Room is compact at 14 m², but because the bathroom area is efficiently designed, it feels more spacious than expected. Considering the reasonable price, I’m grateful for such a high level of service. Breakfast while enjoying the open view from the 40th floor was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The grilled fish was thick and perfectly tender, and even the broth served with their “beauty tofu” was delicious. There were so many great options—seafood rice bowls, clam ramen, smoked salmon, and more—that it was hard to choose, and it made me happy from the very start of the day. They also cleared plates promptly, which made everything feel comfortable. I had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much.

I stay here for about three nights around the same time every year, and the Hotel’s sincere hospitality never changes. They respond quickly even to minor issues, and their courteous service remains a consistent highlight. The well-rounded breakfast is another constant, as is the afternoon drink service—I'm impressed that they maintain such a high level of hospitality. I sometimes read Reviews of other hotels saying, “It wasn’t like this before,” but this Hotel never leaves me with that kind of disappointment. Overall, you can really feel the quality of this Hotel. It has everything that makes me want to choose it again for my next stay in Kobe.

I’m always satisfied. Given that it’s an expensive Room, you might say that’s to be expected—but consistently meeting those expectations is actually proof of very high quality. However, there’s one point I’d like to mention for everyone. There is a covered walkway to Hakodate Station, but there are no walls. So during typhoons or blizzards with strong winds, the location is only “better than most.” For normal rain, it’s not a problem.

This was my first time staying here, and I’m glad I got to enjoy so many extraordinary experiences. The coastal drive in a Rolls-Royce—my first time riding in one—and the nighttime laser message show were beautiful and truly moving. From the terrace, I was soothed by the view of the Pacific Ocean just beyond and the sound of the waves. The food was also delicious. All of the staff were friendly and very kind. I made my next Reservation during my stay, so I’m looking forward to coming back again. Thank you very much.

The woman who greeted us upon arrival at the Hotel was exceptionally attentive, and her escort service was wonderful. The other staff members also paid attention to even the smallest details, allowing us to stay comfortably. In particular, the service from the international staff felt natural and kind, and it seemed overwhelmingly higher in quality than at other hotels. It reminded me once again that human service is even more important than the Facility or meals. Thank you very much for taking care of us.

It was a wonderful, relaxing space. A wide variety of items were provided so guests wouldn’t be inconvenienced, and the thoughtful attention to detail was excellent. The bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The sauna, jacuzzi, and BBQ grill were also very easy to use. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and I was surprised at how well the amenities were replenished. The only disappointment was that the neighbors were being very loud until 4 a.m., which was noisy. Without that, it would be 5 stars.

My first long-awaited trip to Hagi, and this Hotel stands in a quiet town. Nothing flashy—simply the best in the most classic way. Every dish was delicious, and all the staff were kind and charming; my spouse and I were truly impressed. The bath was excellent as well. Above all, everything was spotless and impeccably clean down to the smallest details. We also appreciated the warm send-off at departure.

They assigned us the convenient Room we had requested in advance, and we were able to enjoy a comfortable Multiple Night Stay. It was fun to have a different roller blind from last time! Shinsaibashi and Namba are within walking distance—not too close, not too far. After walking around all day, we could relax and soothe our tired bodies in the bathtub. We also appreciated having a separate bath and toilet. Thank you for the thoughtful care from the Hotel staff. Thank you again for all your help on this trip. We will stay here again when we visit Osaka!

I’d been looking forward to my trip to Kanazawa, but just before arrival the weather turned terrible—torrential rain and even lightning. I remembered how close it is to the station, so I left my luggage before check-in and went out exploring. On the way back, I stored my bags again and enjoyed shopping for souvenirs hands-free, then had lunch and tea and made the most of Kanazawa. I’d like to stay here again on my next trip. So grateful for the great location near the station!

Conveniently located near the station and featuring a large public bath, it was perfect for soothing my tired body after a long day of walking. I was very satisfied with the women-friendly services, such as being able to choose shampoo and conditioner and borrowing a hair iron.
