Although I live in Kyoto City, I chose this Hotel because I wanted to enjoy an Onsen and a delicious breakfast close by without traveling far. The result was a truly wonderful stay that left me completely satisfied and thinking, “I definitely want to come back!” The cute yet elegant, almost overseas-like atmosphere lifted my spirits the moment I arrived. The door leading to the guest Room floors requires you to tap your Room key card, which felt secure and luxurious. I also enjoyed the organic drip coffee in my Room as a welcome drink, and it instantly made me feel relaxed and happy. As for the Onsen—what a treat! I enjoyed it three times: in the evening, before bed, and again in the morning. I was especially delighted by the complimentary beer service at the spa lounge available with bathing until 6:00 p.m. I drank about half in the lounge and took the rest back to my Room; enjoying it while watching Kyoto’s cityscape shift from dusk into neon-lit night through the window was simply perfect. What impressed me most during this stay was breakfast! When entering the venue, as soon as the receptionist greeted me cheerfully, all of the staff inside welcomed me with “Good morning,” which instantly made me feel excited. Even though I was dining alone, their thoughtful hospitality felt warm, and I remained comfortable throughout. Every dish—Japanese and Western—was truly delicious. From freshly made dashimaki tamago prepared by the chef to Kyoto-style obanzai side dishes and detox water, I enjoyed sampling many different items little by little. Their smart service—quietly clearing empty plates each time I stood up—was also very pleasant, and before I knew it, an hour had passed as I savored breakfast. This may have been one of the most satisfying breakfasts I've ever had. Since checkout is at 11:00 a.m., it was also a great memory being able to visit nearby Rokkakudo Temple after breakfast. This is truly a treasure of a Hotel—easy to reach by public transportation, with high-quality Onsen facilities and an outstanding breakfast that leaves you feeling refreshed. I'd love to recommend it to friends around me, and I'll definitely be back myself! Thank you for such a lovely time.

We stayed here for a trip to celebrate a 60th birthday. Not only were the Onsen, Facility, and meals excellent, but above all, the hospitality and service from the staff who assisted us were outstanding. It was disappointing that we couldn’t see Mt. Tateyama due to the typhoon’s effects, but we’ve decided that next time we’ll book a Multiple Night Stay and go to see Mt. Tateyama with its remaining snow.

This was my first stay. I found this Hotel online at short notice, but the 12:00 checkout and child-friendly breakfast appealed to me. The room was very clean and offered excellent value for money. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here last year and returned this year because the food was so delicious. Just like last year, both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The hot spring was spacious and very relaxing. The hotel’s hallway carpets and elevators had an elegant plum blossom theme, and the room was stylish and spotless—I was very satisfied. The udon included as an Ikkyu Diamond benefit was also delicious.

I’ve stayed here so many times that I’ve lost count, but this time I visited with my parents for my birthday trip. No matter when I come, the food is always satisfying, the Room is wonderful, and the Onsen leaves your skin silky smooth—nothing to complain about. Also, the light snacks in the annex lounge are exquisite, which makes me want to stay here again. They even celebrated my birthday, and it was a fantastic trip right to the end. This is an Accommodation that never disappoints no matter how many times I visit, so I’d like to keep coming back. Thank you for a wonderful trip!

It was a very enjoyable stay for our kindergarten-aged child. Both dinner and breakfast were full of foods kids love. They had fun making their own ice cream, and they could also bring chocolate syrup and chocolate toppings from a separate area to create their own pancakes. (We wished there had been pancake syrup in the kids’ corner.) The Onsen temperature was set low for children (it might feel lukewarm for adults), and our child stayed in for about an hour. The only downside was that the photos in the information showed a drum washing machine, but there wasn’t one in reality. Other than that, they offer lots of children’s activities, so I think it’s an excellent Hotel for families with kids. We’d like to come again in winter.

An excellent location just a 2-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Station. Beautiful views of Nakajima Park from the Room and a lovely view of the Hotel garden. Wonderful hospitality from the staff. The breakfast buffet was also outstanding. Everything exceeded my expectations.

Both the Room and the building were beautiful and felt very clean. The bed was especially wonderful—not only spacious, but also with just the right thickness and firmness. The pillows weren’t too soft either, so I was able to fall asleep quickly. When we arrived and went out to explore the town, three of us had sore legs and backs, so we were embarrassed to be walking with canes. At dinner, we were told that our table for the next morning’s breakfast buffet had been set at the closest, easiest-to-access spot. We were all truly touched. The food was delicious as well, and both breakfast and dinner were enjoyed at spacious tables with partitions from surrounding guests, allowing us to relax and chat at a leisurely pace.

Since my injury, we’ve been celebrating our birthdays here in a Room with an open-air bath. I love Onsen, but I was afraid to use large baths and had given up. Then, as a birthday gift for my husband, we came here, and using the bath in our Room helped me regain my confidence—so it has become our regular Accommodation ever since. It’s wonderful.

I have been an IKYU Diamond member since before COVID, with two regular Accommodations—one in Ito and one in Enzan—and I had been looking for another place I would want to return to. It was hard to find one. At last, I found Akazawa Guest House. It’s an Accommodation you’ll want to visit again and again. My companion had a blister from sandals, but after soaking in the deep ocean water several times, we were amazed to notice on the third day that it had healed. Akazawa Spa is free of charge, and what I especially loved was that the private sauna is also free. We had so much fun with bowling, billiards, darts—everything—that staying two nights was absolutely worth it. Of course, the staff were wonderful as well. The foreign staff member who served our meals had a lovely smile, spoke excellent Japanese, and made our conversations truly enjoyable. We will be back again—thank you in advance for your continued hospitality next time.

Whenever I travel to Okinawa, I always stay here. No matter when I visit, the staff’s warm hospitality makes me feel relaxed and at home. This time, we came for a family birthday, and it became a wonderful memory. It’s a Hotel where you can unwind with peace of mind, thanks to the consistently welcoming service that never changes in the best way. I’ve already made my next Reservation as well. I’m looking forward to staying again.

I stayed here with a friend I hadn’t seen in 10 years. Since it’s next to the Red Brick Government Building, getting around was incredibly easy. After going to make a Reservation at a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant about a 5-minute walk away, we were able to relax at the Hotel until our table was ready. It was also great that you can see the crowd levels for the bath and breakfast venue at a glance, making it easy to choose the right time. I felt the breakfast selection was slightly limited, but everything was delicious—I even went back for seconds of the clam chowder. They also offered Shine Muscat grapes in limited quantities; they were juicy and very tasty. The seafood bowl was excellent too! The rice is dispensed automatically, and since it looked like it might be a large portion, I chose Western-style vinegared rice for my seafood bowl. I was quietly thrilled that it came with eel as well! After checkout, luggage storage was locker-style, which felt secure. We could also relax comfortably in the lobby until it was time to leave. I’ll definitely stay here again next time!

I made the mistake of thinking I had booked the same Room as before, not realizing it had been completely renovated, and only noticed after entering. I hadn’t read the description carefully enough. It was my first time using a daybed, but it felt modern, and I’m satisfied with it in its own way. As for the in-room bath, last time it rained and we got caught in the rain while using the open-air bath, but this time it felt easier to use than before. However, adjusting the temperature is still a bit tricky. The meals were just as satisfying as before in both portion size and taste. Last time, simmered golden eye snapper was served at the end when I was already very full, so I couldn’t finish it, but this time it was served midway through and I was able to eat everything. That said, the seasoning of the spiny lobster dish didn’t quite suit two elderly guests like us. It felt overly elaborate and seemed to mask the lobster’s natural flavor. For us, something simpler like sashimi or simply grilled would have been better. Our attendant was a foreign national and did their best to explain each dish clearly, which we appreciated; casual conversation might be difficult though. It seems that staffing shortages have reached Hotels as well. We were impressed that you greeted us right as we drove in upon arrival and saw us off at departure—service that remained just as attentive as last time. If we have another chance to visit Izu, we would like to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

Everyone we interacted with—at the front desk and in the dining area—was attentive and made us feel at ease. We were able to relax during our stay. We also really enjoyed the egg-over-rice, which we could try with a variety of soy sauces. It was excellent.

Thank you for your continued support. All of my Accommodations on this trip were in the Via Inn group. Because of the low rate and my travel schedule, I stayed at Iidabashi for just one night. Iidabashi has become almost my regular Accommodation, but this time I noticed that when lying in bed, airflow from the air conditioner or ventilation blows directly onto my throat and nose due to the Room layout, and since staying at Iidabashi my throat has not felt well. Even in the middle of summer, I tried turning off the air conditioner, but it didn’t help. The Room layout itself seems exactly the same as Rooms I have stayed in many times before and never found bothersome; however, the Room photos on the Reservation screen appear to show a slightly different layout, so I wondered if there are Rooms with a different setup. I would like to stay again during exam season as well, so I hope you can improve this. Another thing I noticed compared with other locations is that it feels slightly far from the station—crossing Sotobori-dori is more tiring than expected. The desk is large and easy to use, amenities are well stocked, Wi‑Fi works at other Via Inn properties once set up once, the staff will handle check-in even if you don’t use the self check-in machine, and having an Inageya next door makes Iidabashi very convenient. I will stay with you again.

All staff were very kind and welcoming, always with a smile. Since it was extremely hot, I really appreciated that the air conditioning was running well when I entered the front desk area at check-in in the evening. There was a welcome drink, and while the Hotel grounds seemed small, it was perfect for us as we were only staying overnight after sightseeing—compact and comfortable. Recently I often choose places with a large public bath, but this time there was a semi-open-air bath, so I could relax without worrying about anything and recover from my fatigue. They had a full lineup of ReFa products; outlets, cables, and towels were provided in two separate areas; it was eco-friendly with no plastic bottles; the alternative cups were easy to use; and there were water dispensers on each floor. I didn’t use them, but it also seemed possible to do laundry and drying. There is a small rooftop area where you can see Sakurajima—I was truly impressed. Great value for money, clean and well maintained, with an excellent location—this is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

With construction starting in September, and since we can only travel on weekdays, this was our last stay of the year. The food, the baths, and the Room were wonderful—and above all, the staff’s hospitality was exceptional in every way. What impressed us most this time was how you remembered what we discussed during our previous stay about how to serve chilled sake, and then made it happen exactly as promised. We were able to enjoy it deliciously right to the very last sip. Your prompt response truly surprised us and made us feel that you are always thinking of your guests. This is a special place for us. We are deeply grateful for this encounter, and we sincerely look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby, but the area is not crowded and there is no noise. It feels like it is located in a pleasant, livable town. The Room was clean and very comfortable, and I wanted to stay again right away. I left something behind in the Room and contacted them, and they responded kindly. The staff were all wonderful.

This was my third stay. The Room was very clean. I booked the Hotel’s choice Plan, and they upgraded me to a Premium Single Room, which I was very satisfied with. The TV was very large, and the Room size was also more than satisfactory. The bath area has one large bathtub, a sauna, and a cold bath; compared to Hotels with only unit baths, the level of satisfaction is completely different. I can recommend the breakfast. I don’t think there are many items, but I especially recommend the rice and pork miso soup. The grated yam, egg-over-rice, croissants, and more were all very delicious. If I have another chance to stay in Koshigaya, I will use this Accommodation again.

My husband and I stayed at this Accommodation for one night during a two-day drive from Tokyo to Suwa and Narai-juku. Everyone on the staff was truly kind and attentive, and thanks to their warm hospitality we had a wonderful, enjoyable time. Right by the lakeside, we were able to relax in the open-air bath in our Room and fully enjoy the luxury of free-flowing natural hot spring water. The rooftop infinity bath was also very pleasant. The meals featured locally sourced ingredients, and we enjoyed dishes that felt uniquely Shinshu. There were many tableware items, furnishings, and pieces of furniture that matched my taste. We would love to visit again in a different season. The pass tour visiting four shrines was also excellent.
