The ocean view with a jacuzzi was amazing! We were also able to have a BBQ for an additional fee on the day, and best of all, we didn’t have to wash the dishes we used, which made things so easy. They even had salt and sugar, and it was great to find Takamura Coffee from Awaji. The kitchen was well equipped too—we were very satisfied. It’s close to the sightseeing spot Keino Matsubara, so be sure to visit.

Although the sky was unfortunately overcast, it was the perfect season to comfortably soak in the lukewarm natural spring water, and it felt wonderful! The meals are delicious and full of healthy options, and combined with the Onsen benefits, I feel better every time I stay. Perhaps because I kept coming back, my frozen shoulder has completely healed! The summer à la carte fried rock oysters were especially delicious—I’d love to have them again next year! This was my first Saturday stay, and I enjoyed listening to a jazz piano performance. It matched beautifully with the mysterious flicker of the bamboo lights in the garden and was incredibly soothing. There were familiar tunes and summer songs, and in the second half they even took requests, so there was a great variety of music and it was truly enjoyable. Ending with “Cradle Song” was also a stylish touch. I’m looking forward to visiting again in autumn.

I often stay at hotels in a similar price range, and I highly recommend this one. The entire property is very well cleaned, and the room I stayed in seemed to have been renovated—the bathroom was spacious and spotless, there were two toilets, and the interior, Japanese-style room area, and living room were all excellent. The large public bath was also clean and quite spacious for the number of rooms. The dinner buffet also felt carefully prepared. Perhaps because it’s in Niigata Prefecture, the rice was delicious too. The staff were pleasant as well. It’s a place I’d like to visit again.

We stayed with a same-day Reservation, and everything was excellent. We arrived later than planned and were almost late for our dinner Reservation, but every staff member remained welcoming and provided outstanding service. Thank you very much. Both the open-air bath and the indoor bath were great. The dinner and breakfast were especially delicious, and the all-you-can-eat grilled fish at breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely like to stay again on our next visit.

We stayed to celebrate a birthday. The Shuttle Service between the nearest station and the Hotel for both arrival and departure was extremely helpful, and we truly appreciated the driver’s hospitality. We were very satisfied with the Room and the private bath, the meals were delicious, and all of the staff were warm and welcoming, allowing us to relax at ease. We would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

With beautiful views, a comfortable Room, excellent meals and hot baths, and above all the pleasant hospitality of the staff, we felt completely relaxed and refreshed. During Silver Week, we finally fulfilled our long-awaited Tohoku trip: Yamagata (Akayu) → Miyagi (Matsushima) → Iwate (Tono) → Aomori (Towada/Oirase/Hakkoda) → Shirakami-Sanchi. We spent every moment trekking right up until the morning of our arrival day, fully enjoying the mountain air—and then it was “the sea.” It was a wonderful way to end an enriching journey! We also heard you have a sister Accommodation in Iwate; we’d love to visit there as well, and would like to plan another trip along with returning to your Accommodation. One note from my husband: It would be perfect if there were also a beer server in the lounge! We hope to stay with you again.

We stayed at Tsukishiro in the newly built annex. It was our first time visiting Misasa Onsen, so some parts of the drive were a bit hard to find, but the staff guided us and we were able to park without any trouble. The Facility was new, and our Room had both an indoor bath and an open-air bath, which made our stay very comfortable. There was also a large public bath, so we could fully enjoy the Onsen in both places. The meals offered a wide variety, and for this price during a holiday weekend, we were very satisfied.

The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

I had a very comfortable stay. Both the property and the Room were clean and well maintained, with thorough housekeeping. The meals were delicious and served in just the right portions. The staff’s service was naturally friendly and made me feel at ease. The only disappointment was that I was looking forward to a beer after my bath, but there was no shop or vending machine, so I had to wait until dinner. That said, this is a rather indulgent request given how well stocked the drink bar in the lobby is. It was an Accommodation I would like to visit again.

My first visit to Kamikochi became a wonderful memory! The staff were very kind and attentive, and I had a comfortable stay. The Room was well cleaned, making it pleasant to spend time in. The Room was also easy to use, with a view of the Azusa River from the room.

We stayed to recuperate after an illness during the intense heat. We would definitely like to come again in every season. The view from the Room and the night scenery were very soothing. The hamo hot pot kaiseki was exquisite.

We were able to spend a truly relaxing time. After check-in, knowing rain was forecast for the next day, we quickly took a walk around the garden. We imagined how much more beautiful the pond’s colors must be on a sunny day. The meals paired perfectly with sake and wine, and my partner—who doesn’t drink alcohol—was also very satisfied with the dishes made generously with local ingredients. The Niida Honke sake tasting was delicious. My partner said the herbal tea and roasted green tea were also excellent. We became completely hooked on how tasty the mountain salt was. Breakfast offered a variety of ingredients, which we really enjoyed as well. The Scandinavian-style interior and calm lighting helped us unwind, and we slept soundly at night. We were happy to be able to use the lounge after check-in—it gave us time to leisurely plan our upcoming travels. We’d love to visit again on a sunny day in a different season.

We traveled from Aichi Prefecture to visit Tottori and Shimane. After sightseeing at Matsue Castle, we made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Even though it was the day of our trip, the front desk staff were very helpful, and the Room and overall environment were excellent.\n\nIf you’re heading from Matsue Castle to Izumo Taisha, I highly recommend this Ryokan.\n\nThe morning clam miso soup was delicious.\n\nI would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

The French cuisine made with local ingredients was absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive, and thank you for kindly sharing so much information.\nI would definitely like to stay at other VMG HOTELS properties as well.\nWalking around Sawara, visiting the Ino Tadataka Memorial Museum, and taking the Onogawa sightseeing boat tour were all very informative and enjoyable.

This was my first stay here, and I was able to relax very comfortably. Not only were the meals and the Onsen wonderful, but the staff were also very courteous and attentive.

We had a very comfortable stay. The retro, traditional, and luxurious atmosphere is wonderful. It is quiet. The staff were kind and very helpful. The food in particular was high quality and delicious.

A well-balanced breakfast gave me the energy to head to work, and the large bath helped me unwind after a long day. Despite the clean Room and convenient location, the price is reasonable. There are no excessive amenities, but all necessary services are well provided, making my business trip comfortable. They also handled taxi arrangements with great care, and I felt it was a Hotel where I could stay with peace of mind. I was also satisfied with the user-friendly in-Room features such as a TV that shows how crowded the dining area and large public bath are, as well as an air purifier.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

The moment we arrived and were shown to the lobby, we were greeted by nostalgic scenery and items. To be honest, the interior and furnishings pleasantly defied what you might expect from an “auberge.” It didn’t feel unpleasant at all—rather, it was a comforting space filled with a sense of nostalgia. Everything in the building was impeccably clean; even the wooden floors in the corridors were gleaming. Throughout the property, there were many handmade mini “info” posters with a wide variety of topics, and we really enjoyed reading them. Because the hot spring source temperature is low, it seems to be heated and circulated, but the water has a silky texture that left our skin smooth. The bath in our room was not hot spring water, but the view from the bathroom window was wonderful. Dinner is a full-course French meal, and breakfast is Japanese-style. Both were extremely satisfying in taste and portion size—we enjoyed them very much. There is also a good selection of drinks, and we appreciated how reasonably priced they were. The staff provided excellent service in every respect, with outstanding hospitality. For us coming from Nara, Abashiri in eastern Hokkaido is certainly not close—but this is an inn we absolutely want to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the all-you-can-drink craft beer server. The open-air bath overlooking the bamboo grove was also wonderful: during the day, you can hear cicadas, and at night it has a majestic, Bamboo Cutter’s Tale atmosphere. The meals were excellent—both dinner and breakfast offered a great variety of dishes. The bar had many cocktails and Japanese whiskies, all delicious. Thank you to the bartender.
