The pool in the courtyard had two shallow depth options, which were perfect for our 5- and 3-year-old children. They also lent out water guns, and having a swimsuit spin dryer was very helpful. At night, there was a free lottery next to the front desk and a small festival-style game area (paid, around 200 yen), and we felt they had really put thought into it. We were allowed to use our own handheld fireworks (not sold on-site) in the courtyard, and when we brought some, they kindly lent us a bucket filled with water and a lighter. Meals were served in the Room for both breakfast and dinner, with great portions and flavor—our whole family was very satisfied. The baths operated on a rotating schedule: the women’s bath was on the 4th floor at night and on the 3rd floor in the morning. The 4th floor did not have an open-air bath but did have a sauna. It was at a comfortable temperature that children could also use. The 3rd floor did not have a sauna, but it had an open-air bath, which we also enjoyed. The view from our Room was beautiful as well, and we were glad to be able to see the morning sunrise.

This was the best Business Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The sauna, in particular, was excellent. Everything was very clean and comfortable. I’d love to stay here again. The front desk staff were also polite and helpful.

This time, we invited our eldest son and his partner. It’s a small Onsen, yet never crowded, so you can relax and truly enjoy it. Above all, the food was delicious—they were completely satisfied with their one-night stay. Perhaps it’s because Fukushima’s ingredients are excellent, but the dishes made the most of them. They said every dish was wonderful. And breakfast: they may have had a bit too much to drink, but they were very pleased with a breakfast that gently soothed them. The day before, they stayed at a Japanese-style Accommodation around Zao, but they preferred Aalto’s cuisine. Even as I write this review, I want to go again. Every time we stay, there is always at least one memorable dish—and when we return next time, an even more impressive plate appears. Our eldest son drinks quite a lot, and he said the wine and other drink selections were extensive and delicious—so he ended up drinking too much without meaning to. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We enjoyed a crab kaiseki meal, and every dish was carefully prepared and truly delicious, allowing us to fully savor the winter flavors of the San’in region. The Room was equipped with a massage chair, so after warming up in the Onsen we could relax and loosen up at our own pace, making our stay very comfortable. It felt as though the fatigue from our trip simply melted away, and we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. When we arrived by car, three staff members welcomed us, and their warm greeting immediately brought a smile to our faces. Throughout our stay, every staff member was courteous and pleasant, which made us feel at ease. We felt that the excellent hospitality further enhances this Accommodation’s appeal. It was a highly satisfying stay where both body and mind could truly rest. We would love to visit again.

I stayed here with my sister’s family. The gentleman at the front desk who guided us and the lady serving our meals were both refreshingly pleasant, which was wonderful. It really left me with a strong impression that people in Fukui are kind! The meals were generous and delicious, so I ate almost everything. I meant to finish it all, but I got too full and ended up leaving some rice in the cooker lol. The courtyard view was soothing, and the Accommodation felt very clean throughout, so I loved it and would like to stay again! I’m glad we found such a great Accommodation. Thank you!!

We stayed as a couple. We chose a Plan with a slightly smaller dinner portion, and it was just the right amount for us and very delicious. The owls were also adorable. The Facility is a bit old, but the meals are excellent and great value for money, so we’d like to visit again. The shop is also well stocked.

It was a wonderful villa. Mount Fuji was right in front of us, and we could see it clearly thanks to the great weather! The meals were all delicious, and we were very satisfied! This was my first time visiting Amanohashidate, and thanks to all the staff, I had a truly wonderful stay. The Room—including the semi-open-air bath, comfortable changing area, spacious Japanese-style room, living area, and bedroom—was spotless and could not have been better. Everyone on the staff was kind and approachable. The meals were also excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were served in a private dining room with an ocean view, where we could relax and enjoy the sunset and evening atmosphere, as well as the sunrise in the morning. Every dish was carefully prepared, with gentle seasoning that we really appreciated. If there is one point for improvement, it would be that the bath water temperature felt a bit lukewarm. For the open-air bath in the Room, it would have been nice to be able to adjust the temperature. If I simply missed an operation panel, I apologize. I would love to visit again if I have the chance. We stayed with three families (nine people) during the season when the rapeseed flowers were in full bloom. Everyone—from kids to adults—had a wonderful time, and it became a great memory for us. The ocean stretches out right in front of the Accommodation. We took a walk in the morning before check-out, and it felt amazing. The sea was beautiful, and we thought, “In summer, we could really enjoy swimming here.” Having Yumigahama right in front is a major highlight of this Accommodation. Our Room also had an ocean view and was spacious, so we could relax comfortably. Meals were buffet-style, and everything was delicious—we were very satisfied. There was a wide variety of dishes, so much that we ended up eating too much. There was also all-you-can-drink beer and wine, which made mealtimes even more enjoyable (just be careful not to overdo it). There was an izakaya-style place in front of the Accommodation as well, so we said we might go later if needed—but in the end, we were satisfied enough that there was no need. After dinner, we went up to the rooftop. Spending time looking at the stars while enjoying coffee or tea was wonderful. Being able to enjoy stargazing on the Shiosai Terrace feels unique to this Accommodation. The open-air bath was also very pleasant and relaxing. That said, since it was quite busy when we stayed, it would have been even more comfortable if it were a bit larger. Breakfast was hearty too—delicious enough that we finished everything. Overall, it turned into a very satisfying trip. It’s a bit far from Tokyo, but Izu has many sightseeing spots, and even the journey there added to the travel experience. We’d love to visit again in another season.

We stayed in the West Wing with my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, and our family—6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled, and it became a wonderful travel memory. As we were celebrating a special occasion, we asked for balloon decorations and to purchase fireworks. For meals, we hired a private chef. Inamuragasaki holds many memories for us. With the ocean right in front of us—and no power lines visible from inside—it was truly a special location. Since the kids are still small, they were overjoyed to use the rooftop jacuzzi like a pool instead of going into the sea. The adults could watch them safely and relax while enjoying the ocean view in complete comfort. The food was also excellent—hiring a private chef was absolutely the right choice. We also got to try out karaoke that you’re considering introducing as a service. Our child who loves singing was delighted and held onto the microphone nonstop. At night we enjoyed fireworks and made so many great memories with the kids. Everything was prepared in such a comfortable setting—easy for adults and fun for children. Our surfer family members even went into the ocean twice. It truly was an amazing place. We highly recommend it for family trips. We will definitely be back again. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a suite. We were very satisfied with the size of the Room and the terrace, and the peaceful rural view was truly soothing. We could also see the stars clearly at night. We enjoyed the welcome drink and sweets, which raised our expectations for dinner—and they did not disappoint. The course meal served in our Room was wonderful, with the staff kindly explaining each dish, and even the chef came to greet us in person. Everything looked beautiful, but it tasted exactly as amazing as we hoped—perhaps even better. I ate each dish in genuine amazement. It made me wish we could casually enjoy this cuisine nearby whenever we wanted. As for dessert at dinner, we were surprised by both the canelé and the chocolate—the canelé for its delicious flavor, and the chocolate for its unique texture! It’s not hard; there’s something special inside. I truly hope you’ll try it. Breakfast was very filling. The egg dish was so luxurious that I couldn’t help blurting out “Wow!” I felt happy thinking, “I ate so many vegetables!” The bread was homemade and delicious, and they kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish to take with us. With meals like this included, we looked at each other as a family and said how unbelievably affordable this Accommodation Fee felt. We were also happy to purchase a lovely wood plate as a souvenir—it made for a wonderful stay overall. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, it became a trip where we lost track of time, and meeting the chef’s kind personality as well made us deeply grateful for such delicious food and such special moments. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.

Because we moved our trip home forward at short notice, we ended up making a Reservation the day before. From welcome to farewell, everyone at the Accommodation greeted us with warm smiles throughout. The meals—both dinner and breakfast—were just the right portions for us as a couple in our 60s, and everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the local cuisine, steak, local sake, and local wine—it was wonderful. The younger staff also chatted with us while explaining the dishes, and our Room was quiet and relaxing, making it a great memory. If I had to mention anything, it would be nice to have two Room keys, and I would have preferred a lighter down comforter. Thank you very much.

I have stayed here several times, and the Facility, meals, and the staff’s service are excellent. The shuttle bus drivers are also very kind, and the frequent service is greatly appreciated. One request for improvement: I made a Reservation for the same Room type as last year, but although it was still in Shōinkaku, last year it was in a newer building while this year it was in a different one. Even on the official website it appears to be booked under the same category, so I would appreciate an option to specify and reserve the newer building I stayed in last year. We look forward to staying again next summer.

We stayed for two nights and three days to celebrate my 61st birthday a week early. The lounge staff shared the information about my birthday, and I was truly moved by everyone’s kind greetings. Our third-grade daughter also decided she wanted to do a “job interview” for her summer vacation school project, and we are deeply grateful that you took the time to accommodate her as well. She was thrilled, and she thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the lounge sweets—everything was wonderful. My wife was able to relax fully over the three days, and we’ve agreed that we would definitely like to stay again for our wedding anniversary at year-end. We will visit again as a family of three, so we look forward to seeing you then. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

Conveniently located near the station with covered access so you can arrive without getting wet, and as soon as you step inside, you’re welcomed by a luxurious fragrance. This was my second stay, and just like last time, every front desk staff member provided outstanding hospitality—service on par with a top-tier Hotel. The Room was spacious, the in-house slippers were soft and fluffy terry cloth, and the amenities were properly prepared in both the Room and the large public bath rather than being set out in small packets for guests to take freely. At the entrance to the large public bath, staff were on standby, and even though I forgot to bring towels from my Room, they kindly lent me some without hesitation. I ended up bathing during a busy time and had to wait for a shower, so it would have been nice if there were an update on how crowded it was before entering or a space where guests could wait. They also arranged a taxi smoothly; despite being right by the station there is also a drop-off area, and everything about this place is unbelievably wonderful for this price. It’s a Hotel I’d want to stop over at even if Himeji weren’t my destination—I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you!!

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. There was a minor misunderstanding at check-in, but it is a very good Hotel. The lounge access, the generous late-night snack, and the staff service were all excellent. Even after checkout, when I went to pick up my luggage, a male staff member said, “Please take a break before you go. Help yourself to a drink as well.” It was a hot day, so I really appreciated it. The Room was spacious and easy to use, and it offered great value for the price. I would like to stay here again.

On my first visit back to Asanoya in a while, the Accommodation was even more beautiful than before, and the staff welcomed me with warm, genuine smiles. Enjoying a forest-bathing experience in the open-air Onsen surrounded by cicada songs, and soaking in the large public bath filled with clear, pristine water, I felt the everyday fatigue that had built up over the summer melt away—I was able to relax from the bottom of my heart. It’s rare to find an Accommodation where everything is this complete: the Onsen, the Room, the cuisine, and the attentive care of the staff. And while many luxury Ryokan are extremely expensive, Asanoya offers this wonderful service at truly reasonable prices. I hope to spend my years ahead with Asanoya. I’ve been coming here since I lived about 30 minutes away by train. Even after moving to a place about two hours away, I still visit from time to time specifically to stay at this Hotel and explore Takasaki. From the moment you step into the entrance with flowing water, you’re drawn into an extraordinary world. More than anything, I love the atmosphere of the large public bath. If you bathe before sunset, sunlight pours in and it’s bright and truly wonderful. Soaking in the open-air bath while listening to Shinkansen announcements as background music is pure bliss—I can forget everything. Both the guest rooms and the entire property are clean and comfortable. Since I’ve stayed many times, every visit feels like “I’m back.” The breakfast venue is very open and airy, and just as comfortable. The honey butter was so delicious that next time I plan to enjoy it generously again. Thank you always, and I look forward to staying with you again!

The other day, my family and I stayed at Suma Sea World Hotel. My elderly mother said she wanted to visit the newly renovated Suma aquarium but couldn’t walk anymore, so I made a Reservation at the Hotel to celebrate her birthday while she’s still feeling well. Since I requested a wheelchair when making the online Reservation, everything went very smoothly. The front desk staff and restaurant team were all kind and sincere, which made our stay truly comfortable. The restaurant meals were buffet-style, and every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The view from our Room balcony was wonderful, and just watching the dolphins swimming in the pool was so relaxing. I had reserved a birthday cake via Room service in advance, but forgot to request a message card—thank you for leaving such a lovely card in our Room anyway. The cake with the large orca message cookie was also delicious. My mother was very happy as well. If we have another chance, we would like to make a Reservation again.

I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.
