Unexpectedly, the breakfast was a real feast. Although it was said to be close to the station, I couldn’t find it and called because I’m elderly. The bath was spacious and very nice as well. The Hotel staff were kind.

This was my first time staying here. I stayed to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and at check-in I was told, “Due to our circumstances…”—and then learned they had upgraded our Room. I hadn’t mentioned anything about our situation, so it became a truly wonderful memory. The Room had a stylish, modern city vibe, and the amenities were very well stocked. I will definitely stay again.

This was my first stay. I used the shuttle bus from Maihama Station, and I was moved to hear Disney melodies playing on board. I truly appreciate the kindness of everyone, including the driver and the front desk staff. The room was very clean, with lovely interior decor, and I had a comfortable stay. It is a Hotel I would definitely like to visit again next time. Thank you very much.

(I did notice the flow of traffic wasn’t great, but I guess that can’t be helped.)\n\nFor this price, the quality is excellent. I was truly impressed!\nThe lobby is also spacious and luxurious, making you feel like you’re treating yourself.\n\nThank you very much!

In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

With no real knowledge of Tsuchiyu Onsen—I'd heard the name but that was about it—we visited as a group of three with my elderly parents, relying on the great Reviews. We parked and entered into the 5th-floor lobby. The beauty of the parquet woodwork and the lush green gorge took our breath away. We checked in while enjoying welcome drinks on the sofa. Our Room on the 3rd floor was just as modern as in the photos and came with a cypress open-air bath. Before dinner, we used the large public bath on the 1st floor. The water was amazing!! A faint sulfur scent and silky water that seemed to cling to your skin. My parents were impressed too, saying it was the best Onsen water they’d ever experienced. Apparently even the shower water is from the Onsen—I’d never seen that before, so I was surprised. We went to the public bath three times during our one-night stay, and only ran into another guest once (just one person). It felt almost private, which made it even better. Dinner was served in a private room on the 4th floor. We chose Japanese cuisine. The explanations were very careful and easy to understand, and everything—from taste to presentation (including the tableware)—was beautiful; you could really feel the chef’s attention to detail. The handwritten menu also had a wonderful charm. Breakfast was also Japanese cuisine, and we were just as satisfied as we were at dinner. This trip also celebrated my mother’s birthday and mine, so we booked an Anniversary Plan. After dinner they brought out a cake, but we were too full to eat it, so they delivered it to our Room instead. After relaxing in the Onsen for a bit, we still felt full—but said “Since it’s here anyway, let’s finish it tonight,” made some coffee...and ended up eating it all! It really was delicious!! We were also happy with the parquet coaster gift—thank you very much. To all of your staff: thank you for taking such great care of us. We truly appreciate all your kindness. We will definitely come again while my parents are still healthy!

I stayed here for business. I chose this Hotel because it’s close to my client’s company and the parking looked easy to use—and it was the perfect choice! The staff were kind, the food was delicious, and the Room was clean. I slept well and felt truly relaxed. I’ll definitely stay here again next time.

I stayed at Yufuin Sansuikan, and everything—from the Onsen and meals to the all-inclusive service—was absolutely satisfying! The Onsen water was silky and gentle, kind to the skin, and incredibly relaxing. Dinner was buffet-style, so our international guests could freely choose whatever they liked and enjoy it. Every dish was delicious, with so many tempting options that I ended up eating too much. The Oita Wagyu steak in particular was outstanding. Another highlight was the all-inclusive service, which allowed us to enjoy complimentary drinks—including alcohol—from check-in through dinner. Above all, thanks to the warm hospitality of the president and the proprietress, we were able to spend a truly enjoyable and memorable time. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would love to visit again.

I ended up staying overnight in Atami at short notice, and since I planned to relax in my Room rather than sightsee, I chose this place mainly for the meals. My first stay at Kaihoro was truly wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the presentation and tableware were beautiful. This is an Accommodation I highly recommend everyone visit at least once. Next time, I’d like to come during a cooler season and do some sightseeing in Atami as well.

This was my second stay after visiting in January. It’s a small Accommodation, but the service, meals, and Onsen are all above average. Some Rooms seem to have an open-air bath, but even without one, the public bath is not crowded and you can relax. The spring water has a faint sulfur scent but isn’t too strong—perfect for me. It’s an Accommodation that makes you want to come back.

I have stayed at a wide range of Hotels throughout The whole country, from budget Hotels to luxury Hotels, and among Hotels in this price range, this one is without a doubt No. 1 in terms of hospitality and dinner. The quality you get for this Accommodation Fee is truly outstanding. [What I liked] Hospitality & service: As attentive as a luxury Hotel. Not only the front desk staff, but also the housekeeping staff greeted me politely and elegantly when we passed in the hallway, which made my stay very comfortable. Dinner: The bento prepared after ordering was freshly made, extremely delicious, and generous in variety—I was very satisfied! Room & cleanliness: The Room and unit bath were kept clean and comfortable. The restaurant at the breakfast venue also felt very clean. (Breakfast itself felt like a standard buffet.) [What I noticed] I was slightly bothered by the smell of the sanitized cups. Wi-Fi: To be honest, the Wi-Fi connection was unstable and not usable. I strongly recommend that future guests prepare pocket Wi-Fi or mobile data. There were only a few minor points I noticed, but they were far outweighed by the excellent hospitality and dinner quality. I would definitely like to stay here again!

Not only was the food excellent, but the front desk staff were also very courteous, making my stay comfortable from start to finish. The Room was in a private detached unit, so I wasn’t bothered by any surrounding noise and could truly relax. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and it was a highly satisfying stay. Overall, it’s a wonderful Accommodation, and I would definitely like to stay again. It was absolutely amazing!

I visited again for the first time in six years, and I was happy that my details had been noted in the guest register. It was a different Room from last time, but it was clean and wonderful again. The locally sourced dinner—vegetables, meat, and salt-grilled sweetfish—was all truly delicious, and the medicinal hot pot left both body and mind feeling refreshed. Many guests seem to be repeat visitors; everyone followed good manners and we were able to spend our time quietly again. The level of interaction with the staff felt just right as well. This Accommodation is perfect for escaping the stresses of everyday life!

Although it was my first time trying zazen meditation, sutra copying, and morning prayers, the clear guidance helped me ease into everything smoothly. The thoughtfully prepared shojin ryori (Buddhist vegetarian cuisine) was truly delicious and deeply moving. The Room and Facility were also clean and comfortable. I felt refreshed by the soothing atmosphere that embodies the spirit of Japan, and even now after returning home, I still feel renewed.

Before the end of the rainy season, it rained and we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji during our stay. The location was excellent, and both the dinner and breakfast buffets were delicious—we ate lots of great food, and beer was all-you-can-drink. The Onsen felt a bit lukewarm, and there was only an indoor bath with no open-air bath, but overall we were satisfied. In the Japanese-style Room, it was cold with the air conditioner and summer bedding, so we used a blanket from the closet. The pillows were low. The air conditioner was positioned out of sight, and the Room became quite dry while sleeping, so next time we turned on the humidifier in the corner of the Room. Being confused in the middle of the night was a small downside. There were water and coffee services at reception, an extension cord for charging in the Room, and Japanese sweets provided as well—these thoughtful details were much appreciated.

This was my second stay. Last time, I stayed during a snowy season, so this time I was able to relax until dinner and fully enjoy the sight of green trees swaying and the gentle calls of evening cicadas from my clean, refined Room. The meals here are delicious both in the morning and in the evening, with plenty of vegetables. Of course, the fish and meat were also excellent—everything was flawless. Above all, the staff’s smiles were wonderful, and their service was attentive and professional, which made me feel truly happy. I will definitely come back to stay again when I have time. I’ve stayed at other Dormy Inn Hotels several times on business trips, and everything—cleanliness, the Onsen, and the meals—has always been excellent. This time we visited for a family trip, and my wife and child were thrilled. It made our trip truly enjoyable, and we’d love to stay again!

The staff were kind and attentive, and I was very satisfied. The Room was clean and nice. The bathtub was spacious enough to stretch out my legs and relax. I also tried the much-talked-about breakfast curry, and it was delicious. Above all, the low accommodation cost really helped. When I stay in Shimizu again, I would like to use this place again.

I visited “PGM Okinawa Resort,” which just had its grand opening in July 2026! It has a refined, high-end atmosphere that Halekulani lovers will adore—the sophisticated design and overall vibe feel very similar. Since it has only just opened, there were still few guests and nothing felt crowded anywhere, so it was a lucky stay for me and I was truly satisfied. The Facility and service were genuinely outstanding, so I’m posting this Review to show my support! Room & Amenities The amenities are all L’OCCITANE, and the lovely scent is incredibly soothing. I also appreciated that the in-Room drinks were complimentary. Dining (Breakfast) A huge variety, including Japanese, Western, and Okinawan dishes—absolutely satisfying! As it’s newly opened, we were smoothly seated with no waiting time no matter when we went. *For a Multiple Night Stay, breakfast is held at the same venue on the second day as well, so it would be even better if guests could choose between venues. Service & Hospitality The staff’s service was truly excellent and full of hospitality. They took tons of photos for us—almost to an impressive extent—so we came home with lots of great memories (lol). Outdoor & Indoor Pools Outdoor pool: Located next to the golf course, offering lush greenery and an open feel that’s different from a seaside pool—fantastic! You can also use the covered poolside gazebo for free. Indoor pool: Spacious, with three kids’ slides—great for families. Sauna Options: Three types—a sauna with löyly (steam), an aroma sauna, and a cooling Snow sauna. Snow sauna: It was my first time experiencing snow falling from the ceiling in a sauna—I was amazed! It felt incredible on my heated body. One thing to note Because everything is such high quality overall, the only disappointment was that there isn’t a large public bath where you can soak up to your shoulders. Overall, this resort exceeded expectations in hospitality, Facility quality/specs, and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves refined spaces like Halekulani or wants to enjoy Okinawa in true luxury!

Breakfast was a choice of Japanese, Western, or a Sasebo Burger, plus a buffet as well—very satisfying. I couldn’t eat a Sasebo Burger the day before, so I never expected to be able to have one in the morning!
