After touring the Komoro Distillery, we walked from Komoro Station to this Ryokan. The website said it was a 20-minute walk, but it took us about 30 minutes. We took a taxi on the way back. At the front desk, we were served plum soda and then shown to our Room. This time we stayed in a Room with a private indoor Onsen bath. It was a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. There is also a large public bath, but it is up quite a steep stone staircase, and my husband said it would be safer to use the bath in our Room instead—so we did. The Onsen left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. I have had dinner at many Ryokan over the years, but every dish here was truly delicious. You could call it creative Japanese cuisine—both the presentation and flavors were excellent. They served salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish). I usually give ayu to my husband because of all the bones, but they told us you can even eat the bones in the head here, so I tried it for the first time—and really didn’t notice any bones at all. Because the food was so good, we also enjoyed it with their sake tasting set. Having an in-room bath meant we could enjoy it whenever we liked, which was wonderful. Breakfast included barley rice with grated yam (mugi-toro), grilled fish, ginger-flavored Onsen egg, and many other dishes—we enjoyed everything. A taxi to Komoro Station costs 1,000 yen, which is much better than walking for 30 minutes. It made me want to visit Komoro again next time as well.

I stayed for one night. The directions from the station were simple and easy to follow. I have stayed at Route Inn many times before, but this was my first time at this location. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, and it helped relieve my fatigue. As expected, the breakfast was delicious, and I was very satisfied. A staff member cheerfully said, “Thank you very much. Have a great day,” to guests, which made me feel refreshed from the morning. It was a short stay, but thank you very much.

The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The breakfast bread was freshly baked, and even during a Multiple Night Stay, we were happy to have several different types of bread each day. If sparkling water had been available with the evening welcome drink, it might have been even more enjoyable. Since the room access uses a PIN code, it was convenient not having to carry a card or key around.

It was comfortable and pleasant.

I’ve stayed at other 9yard locations, and this one was also very pleasant. The elderly gentleman working the front desk at night was extremely kind and courteous. I was also really happy they had ice cream, which the other locations didn’t have!

I don’t usually stay at small Ryokan, but given the area, I felt comfortable doing so. The property and rooms were well maintained and very pleasant. Above all, the service was excellent. We ran late for dinner, and after checkout they even delivered a forgotten item to the station… I’m truly sorry for the trouble… yet everyone was smiling—thank you very much. The meals were also carefully prepared and delicious. If I have the chance, I’d like to stay again. Since I only used the public bath outside, I’m rating the Onsen bath a 3. Sorry.

As we expected to arrive later than planned, we called in advance to discuss dinner arrangements. Despite the short notice, they kindly arranged an outdoor barbecue for us, which was a huge help. The barbecue was excellent—especially the thick-cut meat and sausages. There is also a dog run, and the Onsen Facility you drive to is spacious and very clean. The dining hall is also reached by car. The meals were Western-style like at a Hotel and were delicious. The grounds are wide, lush with greenery, and open, so we could relax at ease. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

You can feel the thoughtfulness in everything! I was so satisfied it almost felt like they went above and beyond. We only had breakfast, but you can sense the care put into each dish! Next time, I’d love to come back for dinner to try their longtooth grouper cuisine!

Even if you arrive after your scheduled check-in time, if you have a No Meals Included plan there is no need to contact them as long as it’s by 22:00, which is very convenient. You can truly hear the babbling stream and wild birds. It’s a small Hotel, and I felt the large public bath was fairly spacious. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant, and even after the shop had closed, they kindly sold me corn ice cream from the ice cream workshop at the front desk. The staff also looked out for our luggage—this is a very attentive and comfortable Accommodation. Since we were leaving early in the morning, I really appreciated being able to have De’Longhi coffee from the free drink service before heading out.

It was cozy, clean, and pleasant. The proximity to the station was convenient.

The Room was clean and comfortable. Not only the front desk staff but also the housekeeping team were polite and pleasant.

Given the heat, it may be unavoidable, but it was hot inside the building. Also, there are two elevators in Building A, but they were slow to arrive. Other than that, the bath and the buffet were great!

This was my first stay here. Because it’s a little away from the busy area, the surroundings were quiet. Still, it was very convenient—about a 5-minute walk to Sannomiya Station. Arriving by car was a bit confusing due to one-way streets (haha). The Hotel parking lot was full, but I was able to park at a nearby flat parking lot right away, which was also convenient. The Hotel and its Facility were very clean. The Room was clean as well. Two things stood out: there was heavy limescale around the sink overflow, and since it’s right in sight, it felt disappointing. When I tried rubbing it lightly, it came off easily (haha), so I hope this can be addressed. The other issue was that when I lifted the bed runner, I found several short white hairs. Hair is surprisingly noticeable, and I think many guests would be concerned too—not just me. This Hotel also has a large public bath. Since I went for a morning run, being able to use the bath afterward felt great. One more thing: the Room TV shows how crowded the public bath is supposed to be, but in the morning it displayed “crowded.” I hesitated but decided to go anyway—and no one was there. It didn’t seem to be real-time information. I’ve mentioned several points, but overall I think this is a very good Hotel. If I visit Kobe again, I’d like to stay here again.

I use this Hotel for business trips. I’m happy that the Room is spacious. If there’s availability, I almost always choose this Hotel. As an IKYU Diamond member, I also appreciate the 12:00 checkout time. I can also receive drinks such as canned beer, which makes me want to keep my Diamond status. From Tokyo Station, I take a bus—it’s just a short walk from the “Kameshimabashi” stop.

In addition to its convenient location near the station, the reception staff were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

I was able to stay at a great price with a discount on Yahoo Travel. I arrived by motorcycle, and since it might rain, I really appreciated being allowed to park under the roof near the entrance. The only thing I wished for was a deodorizing/antibacterial spray for clothes in the Room. I was also informed in advance that breakfast would be crowded due to a group, so I was able to leave without being delayed.

It was wonderful. It’s close to Shin-Narashino Station, and Makuhari Messe is just two stops away. It also seemed like many guests were visiting TDR. Despite that, it was very affordable, and I was able to stay in a clean Room. After a standing concert, it was such a pleasure to soak in the warm large public bath. Since space is limited it does get crowded, but even back in the Room there wasn’t a weak hair dryer—there was the same type as in the large public bath. Even though I washed my hair quickly to free up the washing area sooner, it dried smooth and silky right away. The front desk staff were kind, and although I’m sure it was simply because availability allowed, I really appreciated being assigned a Room on the same floor as the large public bath—such thoughtful attention to detail. Having separate floors for men’s and women’s baths also made me feel safe. This is a Hotel I would definitely stay at again if I visit Makuhari Messe.

All the staff, including the housekeeping team, were very pleasant. The Room was spacious, and I had a comfortable stay. Great value for money! Breakfast was just right and delicious. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to this area.

It’s close to Fushimi Subway Station, and you can enjoy drinks during happy hour and have breakfast as well, so I think it offers great value for money. The breakfast had about four kinds of side dishes, and all of them were delicious. The Room was small, and the bathroom still had some residue from someone else, which wasn’t very pleasant, but it was sufficient if you just need a place to sleep. They also stored my luggage for me—thank you for your help.
