The double bed in this Hotel is spacious enough to maintain distance even when turning over, allowing for a comfortable sleep. Many chain hotels nowadays have beds that feel cramped for two people and rooms with minimal space, so I had resigned myself to that standard... The Room features a long table by the window, and most of the Rooms are located on higher floors, offering the bonus of enjoying the night view. The breakfast buffet includes local dishes like "Imoni" and everything was delicious. The Zao yogurt and fruits like Shine Muscat were also delightful.

The food and the staff’s service were excellent. The show was fun, too. I’d love to visit again! The Onsen was very relaxing as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed with two adults and our dog. Although the Accommodation is a bit old, it is very clean, the Room is spacious, and the bathroom and toilet are also clean. The price was affordable, and we were very satisfied. We would love to stay here again when we visit Izu!

Parking is available for slightly larger vehicles for business use, the Japanese-style Room is clean, and the Onsen is excellent. I would like to stay here again when I visit Saga Prefecture.

Thank you for taking care of us for two nights. We weren’t on a trip to relax at the Hotel; we were out during the day, and it was perfectly comfortable to have breakfast and head out without any inconvenience. Even with children, everyone at the Hotel was kind and warmly looked after us. If I had to mention one thing, the large public bath alternates between men and women, so we couldn’t use it because the timing didn’t work out. Still, considering the price with breakfast included, it felt like an unbelievably good value. Thank you very much. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.

I had a very comfortable stay. There was a drink bar at the front desk, and the Room had a water dispenser, so I never had any trouble getting drinks. The bed was large and I slept very well. The shower in the bathroom was ReFa, and the bathtub also had a bubble switch, leaving my skin smooth. The ReFa hair dryer was also well equipped, and I was able to relax. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

This was my second stay at Route Inn Iwaki. I booked a breakfast-included Plan, but a line of about 50 people had formed by the 6:30 a.m. opening time, and even after 15 minutes I still couldn’t get in. I returned my breakfast ticket to the front desk and checked out. The large public bath was appealing, but next time I’m considering the Toyoko Inn next door. If breakfast opened at 6:00 a.m., even if it still took 30 minutes to enter with a line of 50 people, I would appreciate an earlier opening time.

At check-in, we were given chilled hand towels. It was a very hot day, so they felt wonderful to use. Drinks were also complimentary, and there were many thoughtful touches throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! We’d love to stay here again.

I have stayed here dozens of times, and the consistently warm hospitality always creates a relaxing atmosphere that helps me unwind and feel refreshed. The scenery is also enjoyable, with a rocky shore, sandy beach, Matsushima, Hakusan Island, and the red bridge offering plenty of variety. The meals included many dishes and were very satisfying. I also appreciated that when I informed them in advance about foods I don’t like, they kindly provided substitutes.

I stayed during Golden Week. I expected it to be crowded, but I was glad I could spend a quiet time. The meals were so filling that I felt they could have been a bit smaller, as I’m in my 60s. The sunset was beautiful while looking out over the Mikuma River, and it felt very pleasant. All the staff were kind and welcoming. I would like to stay again.

The welcome drink was much appreciated. Thank you. I wished there had been beer. I enjoyed the Onsen. I would like the women-only hours to be adjusted, even if it’s either at night or in the morning. There are only two sinks in the changing room, so they were taken and I couldn’t use them. I had to hurry back to my Room. Other than that, I was satisfied.

I’m enjoying retirement and return to Japan twice a year (we usually live in Los Angeles), spending a month visiting Onsens with my American husband. His favorite is a famous Accommodation in Kinosaki Onsen, but even he said the food here was exceptionally delicious. We enjoyed two days of truly tasty meals—not just generous portions and many dishes, but outstanding flavor—and it made for a very satisfying Onsen trip. Transportation was inconvenient, but the food was so good it made us forget the inconvenience! Also, as coffee lovers, this was the first time we’ve been able to enjoy authentic coffee at an Onsen Ryokan. This is an Onsen Accommodation we definitely want to stay at again every year before our trip to Kinosaki Onsen. Also, the shampoo and conditioner in the Onsen smelled wonderful and left my color-treated hair smooth—I was very happy with them! Compared with Kinosaki Onsen, the proprietress and staff here were incredibly kind. I hope everyone gets to enjoy the same positive experience we did.

This was our first trip to Atami, and we stayed here as a couple. The staff were very helpful, and we were satisfied. Our Room was Japanese-style, and it was nice that it could be divided into separate spaces with sliding doors. We were a bit concerned that the toilet area had a step up. We were also happy with the view and had a very pleasant stay. Dinner offered a wide variety of dishes and was delicious, and the breakfast buffet also had an excellent selection. The Onsen is a beautiful blue color. The open-air bath is set in lush nature and very relaxing. The meals are delicious, and the restaurant is a lovely wooden building; since it has private rooms, you can dine at a leisurely pace. The staff were very kind—because it was raining, they came to greet us in the parking lot with an umbrella. There were many international staff members, so there were moments when Japanese was hard to communicate in, but everyone was hardworking and friendly. The building feels old, but the inside is clean with a cozy mountain-lodge atmosphere. I stayed on a weekday in June and was surprised at how affordable it was considering how good the service was. When I visit Yufuin, I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again.

After touring the Komoro Distillery, we walked from Komoro Station to this Ryokan. The website said it was a 20-minute walk, but it took us about 30 minutes. We took a taxi on the way back. At the front desk, we were served plum soda and then shown to our Room. This time we stayed in a Room with a private indoor Onsen bath. It was a bit old, but very clean and well maintained. There is also a large public bath, but it is up quite a steep stone staircase, and my husband said it would be safer to use the bath in our Room instead—so we did. The Onsen left our skin feeling wonderfully smooth. I have had dinner at many Ryokan over the years, but every dish here was truly delicious. You could call it creative Japanese cuisine—both the presentation and flavors were excellent. They served salt-grilled ayu (sweetfish). I usually give ayu to my husband because of all the bones, but they told us you can even eat the bones in the head here, so I tried it for the first time—and really didn’t notice any bones at all. Because the food was so good, we also enjoyed it with their sake tasting set. Having an in-room bath meant we could enjoy it whenever we liked, which was wonderful. Breakfast included barley rice with grated yam (mugi-toro), grilled fish, ginger-flavored Onsen egg, and many other dishes—we enjoyed everything. A taxi to Komoro Station costs 1,000 yen, which is much better than walking for 30 minutes. It made me want to visit Komoro again next time as well.

I stayed for one night. The directions from the station were simple and easy to follow. I have stayed at Route Inn many times before, but this was my first time at this location. The large public bath was spacious and relaxing, and it helped relieve my fatigue. As expected, the breakfast was delicious, and I was very satisfied. A staff member cheerfully said, “Thank you very much. Have a great day,” to guests, which made me feel refreshed from the morning. It was a short stay, but thank you very much.

The parking lot was spacious and easy to park in. The breakfast bread was freshly baked, and even during a Multiple Night Stay, we were happy to have several different types of bread each day. If sparkling water had been available with the evening welcome drink, it might have been even more enjoyable. Since the room access uses a PIN code, it was convenient not having to carry a card or key around.

It was comfortable and pleasant.
