After hiking Mt. Daisen, the location was close to Milk no Sato, and driving there was straightforward with no confusion. We went to the Onsen at 3:00 PM, and the baths were very comfortable with a good size and well-designed layout. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we were extremely satisfied in the lounge, enjoying as much beer, champagne, sake, and café menu drinks as we liked while taking in views of both the Mt. Daisen side and the Nakaumi/Sea of Japan side. The dinner buffet afterward also offered many luxurious dishes; drinks were all-you-can-drink as well with an expanded selection, and it felt like a more worthwhile way to spend time than going out to an izakaya or similar places. Every staff member we met in the hotel was cheerful and efficient. The Room was comfortable and even had a portable massager provided. We could relax at our own pace with the massage chair in the workspace area and unlimited comics available to read. The morning buffet the next day was flawless, and the coffee drip experience in the lobby was also very fun—and delicious. As an IKYU Diamond member experience, we enjoyed early check-in and late check-out, received souvenirs as well, and truly felt thoroughly taken care of. Thank you very much.

The view from the in-room open-air bath was truly breathtaking. It seemed to be the night of a full moon, and the moonlight reflecting on the water was wonderfully dreamlike. Soaking in the tub and gazing at it for a while, I almost lost track of time. The meals were creative and delicious, and the staff were cheerful, always smiling, and thoughtfully attentive throughout our stay—we had a truly wonderful time. A lovely Accommodation I would love to visit again.

I finally got to experience this Accommodation I’d been curious about for a while, thanks to its appealing Instagram posts and high rankings online! In conclusion, it’s a wonderful Onsen Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction that truly lives up to the hype. The food is especially outstanding. At dinner—famous for its boat platter—you can enjoy Kishu-style whale dishes, along with a lineup of carefully prepared courses. As for the Onsen, it was a bit disappointing that every bath felt too hot to fully relax in, but you can still enjoy thoughtfully designed baths, including an open-air bath where you can feel the sea up close. I’m glad I found an Accommodation I’d love to return to in another season.

From the moment you step into the Hotel—whether in the lounge, your Room, or the restaurant—you can spend your time enjoying breathtaking views wherever you are. Dinner enjoyed while gazing out at the vast ocean filling the windows featured dishes that paired perfectly with drinks, and with free-flow beverages, we couldn’t help but indulge. Although the building is a bit old, the front desk and restaurant staff were warm and welcoming, and our whole family seemed to have a wonderful time. We’d love to come again next time with friends as well. Thank you very much.

[Room] The Room was very spacious and clean. There were five of us (two adults and three children), and we stayed very comfortably. There were two beds, and we laid out three futons in the open space, but there was still plenty of room. Amenities were available in the lobby for guests to take what they needed, and it was nice that we could also take tea, coffee, and even snacks—not just toiletries. [Service] All staff members were friendly and helpful with a smile. We also appreciated them carrying our luggage from the car at the entrance. The dining staff were energetic and efficient, quickly clearing empty plates. [Baths] The large public bath and open-air bath were very spacious and relaxing. You could also choose from different shampoos. There were seven types of private family baths, and my wife and kids tried several of them. Best of all, all seven types can be used for free when available—amazing! It didn’t seem overly crowded either. The water in the cold-water dispenser in the public bath area didn’t feel very cold. I wanted to use the massage chairs, but they were often busy so it was hard to get a turn. Also, the foot area on the massage chairs was dirty and felt a bit unhygienic. It would be great if this could be checked regularly. [Meals] The buffet had a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. You could make your own seafood rice bowl with sashimi, which was especially tasty. Thoughtful touches like buffet carts and elastic bands to keep yukata sleeves out of the way were wonderful. [Facility & Equipment] The entire Facility was extremely clean. All floors are shoes-off areas, but walking barefoot never felt uncomfortable at all. We also appreciated that socks for indoor use were included in the Room towel set—a nice touch. You can choose between yukata or samue loungewear; many guests wore samue, including our family. Free welcome drinks and complimentary ice cream after bathing made everything feel wonderfully generous. There are plenty of kid-friendly areas such as a play space, a family game corner, table tennis, etc., so our children had an absolute blast.

We appreciate your flexibility in adjusting the meal time even when we couldn’t arrive as scheduled due to traffic. Regarding the large public bath, it closes at 9:30 a.m., so we would be grateful if it could stay open a little longer in the morning. Thank you for your courteous service.

This Accommodation’s Onsen was simply outstanding. The large public bath is divided into “Toki-no-Yu” and “Inishie-no-Yu,” and there are so many options—including indoor baths and open-air baths—that you can’t enjoy them all in just one night. There’s also a sauna, so it’s highly recommended for anyone who wants to sweat and unwind. Another small delight is the complimentary drink (Yakult) provided after your bath. Our Room had twin beds. It wasn’t huge, but it was calm and relaxing. When we opened the window early in the morning, we could hear birds singing—an experience you don’t usually get in the city center. It was such a wonderful Accommodation that we wanted to extend our stay.

I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay accompanying my wife, who loves history, and this is a Hotel that was satisfying enough. The Room is small, but it’s well arranged with a stylish layout. The in-room bath is shower-only, but there is also a large public bath. There’s also a coin laundry, water dispenser, and ice machine... Breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety, but it’s sufficient. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Everything was beautifully picture-perfect, and we spent two very peaceful days enjoying coffee and drinks. Even on a rainy day, the garden greenery and the pond’s surface looked even more vibrant, making for a wonderfully relaxing time. Thank you for arranging the birthday card. After reading other guests’ Reviews, I learned that the bathroom and toilet are separate and that there is a shower chair, so I made a Reservation. I had been standing for a long time at my favorite artist’s concert, and it was extremely hot, so by the time I got back to the Hotel I was exhausted, but I was able to relax in the bath and soothe my fatigue with a bath salt I chose on the 1st floor (it said it helps you sleep well). The next day, since checkout isn’t until 12:00 p.m., I could take it easy—going out for breakfast and enjoying a morning bath. There was also a coffee machine next to the amenities on the 1st floor, and I appreciated being able to drink coffee freely. I’d like to stay again.

We stayed just after the Golden Week holidays. With a private open-air bath in the Room, it was by far the most affordable Accommodation we’ve ever stayed at! The location is right in front of the ocean, and the view from the rooftop is amazing. Even though it’s a business hotel, the amenities were excellent, and the hot spring bath was free-flowing from the source—everything was great. It was May, but it was very hot, and we were able to use the rooftop pool too, so I wish I had brought a swimsuit!

I stayed here really looking forward to the private bath and breakfast. The bath was even more comfortable than I expected, and I could relax and stretch out more than in a large public bath. The food was delicious, of course, and the stylish tableware made it even more enjoyable. The Room had a large TV, and I was impressed by how thoughtfully everything was arranged for a comfortable stay. It was a very good Hotel.

The dinner and breakfast buffets were very delicious. The children’s menu was extremely well stocked, and I felt that even young kids would really enjoy it. The guest room was very comfortable. On the day of our stay, Disneyland fireworks were canceled, but with a park view, I think it would be amazing to be able to see the fireworks.

A secluded mountain Accommodation near Shimoda. The Rooms are spacious and well laid out, making it easy to relax. The Room and location are great, and a cute kitty will welcome you. The pH 9.5 hot spring water and the hostess are outstanding. Meals are just right for older guests; younger guests may want to adjust with extra rice. It’s also only about a 3-hour drive from Tokyo, so highly recommended!

My check-in time ended up being about four hours earlier than planned, so I called. The response was automated and said there was no need to contact them as long as it was before midnight. I was impressed that even such a detailed matter could be handled by an automated system. We stayed as a family of three. It was a twin room with an extra bed, but there was still plenty of space and it didn’t feel cramped. There were two sofa chairs and a vanity chair (also serving as an ottoman?), both stylishly upholstered with a nice, upscale feel. After reading Reviews, I was worried about the bathroom cleanliness, but although it shows its age, it was clean and I felt comfortable using it. Many Hotels these days provide bottled water in the room for each guest, but this one does not. There is a free paper-cup drink dispenser in the lobby for guests (coffee, green tea, and cold water), which is appreciated, but having water in the room would still be more convenient. (It did say the tap water in the washroom is drinkable, though...) Amenities are picked up in the lobby style, and they even had sunscreen, sheet masks, bath salts, and hair wax—by far the most well-stocked selection I’ve seen anywhere. Breakfast included local specialties like tare-katsu and Tochio fried tofu skin, and they were delicious. I tried tare-katsu for the first time at dinner the day before and loved it so much that I couldn’t believe I got to have it again right away at breakfast—such a pleasant surprise! The Vietnamese curry at the breakfast buffet was unusual and very tasty. I also really liked “roasted kale,” which I tried for the first time. I understand that staying on the last day of Golden Week may come with lower pricing settings, but with Hotel rates rising these days, this place felt almost too inexpensive—I honestly felt bad paying so little. Close to the station with an adjacent flat parking lot—nothing to complain about. I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Niigata.

My friend and I each booked a Room and stayed one night with No Meals Included. The complimentary drinks and amenities were well stocked, the Room was clean, and the Facility was well equipped. It was quiet and comfortable to stay in. The front desk staff were very courteous, and the morning cleaning staff greeted us pleasantly, which made for a wonderful send-off. We were saying that we would definitely like to stay again if we have the chance. Thank you to all the staff for providing such a comfortable space.

The location was great, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options and was very satisfying. I would like to stay here again.

The Room was spacious and had a sofa, so we could relax comfortably, and the bath was wonderful—like a stone bath. If I may mention just one thing, since pets are allowed and there is a small garden, it would have been even better if it were fenced so that small dogs could run around. Of course, even without that it was more than good enough! We would love to stay again.

After returning to Japan, I decided to stay near Haneda and made a Reservation here because I had been wanting to stay at Mercure. The Room had stylish interior design, the breakfast was excellent, and the shuttle bus service took me back to Haneda. It was an even more satisfying stay than I expected.

The staff at both the front desk and breakfast were excellent. I was also satisfied with the breakfast selection. It was nice to be able to choose a showerhead, and the location is great. If I had to mention one thing, the insole sheet for the slippers was too narrow to cover my whole foot and tended to slip out of place, so I think disposable slippers or sanitized slippers would be better. I’d like to stay again.
