The Onsen offers a wide variety of spring qualities, and whether in the dome-shaped Roman-style large public bath or the open-air bath, it feels wonderfully spacious and warmed us through to the core. The meals featured an excellent selection of seasonal Hokkaido flavors and were delicious, and the Room was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The staff were kind and attentive as well—an Accommodation we would gladly return to when visiting Noboribetsu again.

It was a wonderful Hotel. The staff were courteous and attentive, and we had a very comfortable stay. We had a small issue with the Room, but when we asked for help, they promptly arranged a Room change, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you for your quick response. We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Both offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would love to return.

We checked in early and enjoyed the Onsen before dinner. The perfectly comfortable Onsen temperature was wonderful! Drinks after the bath were also great! There was a wide variety at the dinner buffet, but we were so full that we couldn’t try everything. Breakfast also had a great selection and was delicious. One thing to mention: it was disappointing that there was hardly any hot water from the faucet in our Room. We could see the Yubatake lit up at night from our Room. We actually wanted to take a walk to the Yubatake right in front of us, but it started raining and we couldn’t go, which was a shame. The exterior of the building showed its age, but choosing Daitokan was absolutely the right decision. We’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I didn’t expect to find such a comfortable hotel in Wakkanai. The bed was very comfortable. It was also great that the patisserie attached to the restaurant is open until around 9:00 p.m., since it’s often hard to find sweets at night in regional cities. Overall, it was a great hotel. If I had to mention one issue, it would be that the front parking lot tends to fill up quickly.

This was our first stay here. Our family of five stayed in the family Room, and it was clean, spacious, and well stocked with amenities. We had the teppanyaki dinner, and we were especially impressed by how delicious the vegetables were in both the salad and the teppanyaki course. Both the in-Room bath and the public bath were clean, with wonderful hot water. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Just a 1-minute walk to Tsukiji Market—breakfast at the market was incredibly satisfying with seafood rice bowls and tamagoyaki! At night, the view from the window was soothing, and the large public bath was spotless. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap also smelled wonderful! I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo!

My son and his wife stayed here to celebrate their wedding anniversary, as they wanted to visit Beppu Onsen. It is a wonderful hotel, with delicious meals, an in-room open-air bath, a sauna, and a spacious room where they could truly relax. It seems it became a very special anniversary for them. The atmosphere, baths, meals, and hospitality at the ryokan were all wonderful. However, during breakfast I could hear an older man in the next room constantly making petty complaints, which made me feel uncomfortable. I felt sorry for the staff member who was dealing with him.

Being right in the heart of Nakasu made me a bit nervous at first, but it wasn’t that noisy at night. There’s a convenience store downstairs, and the station is close by, so it was very convenient. They kindly changed my booking to the ladies’ floor, and the Room layout was functional and stress-free. I could stretch out comfortably in the large public bath and relax well. I’d like to stay again.

Since we started traveling as a family, we often visit Kinugawa and Nasu, and we always stay at Hotel New Shiobara. This time was also Hotel New Shiobara. Since becoming premium, it has become even more comfortable. Above all, our children really love this hotel. The buffet meals, the baths, and the overall atmosphere inside the Hotel are all excellent. The newly opened lounge is also great. We plan to stay here again whenever we visit Nasu. When I stayed in a single Room last time, the location was excellent, but I felt the walls were a bit thin. This time I used a twin Room by myself, and since it was spacious, I didn’t notice the thin walls at all and had a very comfortable stay. There were more than enough amenities and towels, and personally I also appreciated the sofa, table, and plenty of power outlets. A shower booth was fine, but it would have been even better if there had been a bathtub as well. If I had to mention one thing, there weren’t many trash bins considering the size of the Room, which was inconvenient. That’s about the only downside. The luggage storage after checkout was very helpful, and with convenience stores, restaurants, the subway, and JR all nearby, it’s extremely convenient.

I stayed here on my first trip to Ishigaki. About 80% of the reason for my 5-star rating is the perfect location, but the room was also clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. ■ Location The Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal is just steps away. Highly recommended especially for those heading to other islands or joining activities with pick-up service. Many pick-up tours in Ishigaki offer direct hotel pick-up only for luxury hotels; otherwise, meeting points are often on-site or at the Remote Island Terminal. Staying here felt almost like having direct hotel pick-up access—it’s incredibly convenient to get to the terminal. It’s also located in an area with many restaurants open late, so even when looking for a late-night bite around 11 p.m. after activities like stargazing, I had no trouble at all. ■ Breakfast I stayed two nights, and there were thoughtful changes so you don’t get bored even on consecutive days—for example, the large-pot dish changed from beef bowl to pork soup. My favorites were Yaeyama soba and Aasa soba. The broth here was even better than what I had at a specialty shop…! ■ Misaki Wing This time I booked the Misaki Wing. It’s a little farther from the main building, so it’s slightly more of a walk to the breakfast venue and shops—but in return it’s even closer to downtown as well as the Remote Island Terminal and bus terminal, which is very convenient. There’s also an entrance directly connected to Misaki Wing with an elevator right inside, so you don’t have to go back and forth through the main lobby every time. It made it easy to drop off luggage during sightseeing or quickly head out again (even just for a convenience store run). ■ Request The public bath closing at 11 p.m. feels too early…! Because of activities (stargazing) and dinner plans, I couldn’t use it at all due to timing. My companion managed about 20 minutes on the first night and said it was spacious and nice. I’d really appreciate it if it could be open until at least midnight. One reason I chose this hotel was because it has hot springs—I wanted to soak away travel fatigue—so that was my only disappointment. I would absolutely recommend this property for anyone sightseeing around downtown area(s). Especially if it’s your first time in Ishigaki and you want an active trip packed with sightseeing and activities rather than relaxing at a resort—and you want great value—this place is hard to beat. Highly recommended!

The Onsen inside the property was wonderful, and the private open-air bath in the detached annex was outstanding in both its Facility and the view. The open-air bath in particular was incredibly soothing, set in a location shaped by nature. We had both dinner and breakfast, and if only I’d had a bit more room in my stomach…I would have loved to enjoy even more. My one regret is that there were dishes I passed on. Everything we did have was excellent. I really appreciated being told when the tempura at dinner was freshly fried—it was absolutely delicious. Thank you as well for making my “everything included” omelet at breakfast come true. I didn’t know there would be a doctor fish experience, but it was so much fun it made me let out a weird sound.

I have stayed here many times. The other day at check-in, I was with a guest from overseas. The staff informed them that they could see Himeji Castle from their Room, and they were very happy, saying, “Thank you, wonderful.” It was truly excellent hospitality, and it made me feel good as well.

The service was excellent, and all the staff were courteous and attentive, making our stay very comfortable. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying, with great portions and quality. The Onsen was especially enjoyable—the open-air bath felt wonderful, the water quality was great, and we were able to relax and fully enjoy it. As for the Facility, some areas felt a bit dated, but everything was kept clean, and overall we had a comfortable stay. With such high satisfaction in service, meals, and the Onsen, this was an Accommodation we would gladly stay at again if given the opportunity.

I arrived at Niigata Station close to 11:00 PM and headed to the Hotel after getting off the Shinkansen; it was very convenient with easy access from the station. Both the lobby and the Room were clean, and I have no complaints. I left early the next morning, but checkout was as simple as putting the key in a box, with no procedures required. It’s a Hotel I would like to use again.

The location is close to the station, and there is a partnered parking option, so transportation access is excellent. Since our room faced the station side, we couldn’t see the harbor, but depending on where you sit in the restaurant, you can see naval ships. It was fun to take a naval port cruise from the shopping mall right in front of the hotel, so I wish we had booked a bay-view room. A great feature of the room is the large refrigerator with plenty of freezer space, which is convenient for storing souvenirs or food you want to eat in your room. There was also a microwave, though we didn’t use it. You can hear a little train noise, but it didn’t bother us and we slept well. We appreciated that the rates don’t spike even on Saturdays. The staff at both the front desk and restaurant were kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

This was my third stay. I’ve stayed in a twin, a double, and a twin again, and this Room was my favorite. The first time was on the railway side, the second time on the opposite side, and this time it was on the city side with a view of the station and Mores. (For some reason this time, the refrigerator was as large as one for home use—it held a lot, and I was happy that the freezer compartment was also big.) It’s fun to see different scenery from the window each time. I really like the comfortably firm bed, pillows with adjustable height along with cushions, complimentary water service, and the pleasant hospitality from your Hotel staff. Thank you always. I’d love to stay again next year.

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with three relatives. In a word, it was a wonderful Accommodation. The restaurant meals were especially excellent—seasonal, creative dishes that we could enjoy both visually and in taste. The chef’s ideas are outstanding. All of the service staff were warm and welcoming, making our dining time even more enjoyable. I felt that whether the meals at an Accommodation are good or not almost determines whether the trip was great. Of course, both the Room and the bath were also very good. If I had to mention one small point, the amenities were from a brand with a very distinctive fragrance. Preferences may vary, but personally I felt there might be other options that would suit this Accommodation as well. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for hiking in Yuzawa in early autumn. It is located between Echigo-Yuzawa Station and the ropeway, which was very convenient for us as we were using public transportation. Since we were traveling with a small child, the Plan that guarantees meals in a private dining room was the deciding factor. We were able to enjoy a relaxed meal for the first time in a while without worrying about those around us. The staff were also kind and attentive to our child. There are two baths each for men and women, and they switch between morning and evening, so it was great to be able to try different ones. One disappointment was that dust had accumulated on the hair dryer in our Room. We also appreciated the warm consideration, such as providing children’s toys even for the in-room bath.
