Great location for sightseeing. Parking is available, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Hikone Castle. There’s a convenience store nearby, and plenty of places to eat in the area.

I booked the reliable Route Inn because I wanted to take a relaxing bath. Since I wasn’t traveling by car, I took a taxi, which was an unexpected expense, but I’m glad I was able to unwind.

The renovated traditional building offers a modern Japanese-style Ryokan with friendly and helpful staff. The Onsen is available as a private bath, and you can use it anytime if it's vacant. There are three baths, each supposedly at different temperatures, but they all seemed to be the same temperature and quite hot. The much-talked-about breakfast was also delicious.

This was our first stay, and the check-in service was excellent—I knew right away we had chosen the right place. Dinner offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, and we were completely full; my spouse and I were more than satisfied. Thank you very much for all your help from check-out until we left. When we visit Yufuin again, we will make a Reservation at Nakaya. Thank you in advance.

Rooms: With only a limited number of Rooms, it’s quiet and relaxing. We stayed in a standard Room, and were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Onsen: You can enjoy the Onsen as often as you like from check-in to check-out, which was perfect for owners who really want to soak. The water temperature was just right and very enjoyable. Dog Run: In addition to the woodchip run, there is also a free area surrounded by trees with some elevation changes—great for active dogs who want to run. Since there is no indoor run, on rainy days you’ll need to relax in your Room. Service: The staff were very friendly, and it was clear they truly love dogs. We actually arrived early, but they kindly showed us in a little ahead of time. Meals: Just the right portions. The food was excellent overall—especially the bread. We appreciated that even the extra bread servings were properly warmed before being served. We’d love to stay again!

I stayed for one night on a business trip to Naoetsu. The Hotel is conveniently located near the station. Although it is a bit old in places, it was clean and well maintained, so I felt comfortable and at ease. The staff were also wonderful and very helpful. I would like to stay again when I visit next time.

We stayed here for our ski trip. The location is perfect, right in front of the ski resort. While there are minor points that could affect ratings, overall we were satisfied. The Facility is undeniably old, but the service was good and the meals were as expected. One concern was the slight odor from the drainage in the washing area, which was unfortunate given how great the Onsen was. Also, the cheesecake is absolutely delicious!

I revisited this accommodation early because I had such a great experience last month. Although the Awazu Kaiseki did not include tempura, the delicious appetizers and eight kinds of fresh sashimi made the sake taste even better. By the time I finished the pork shabu-shabu and chawanmushi, I was already full, but the seasoned rice was so delicious that I ended up overeating. For breakfast, they served "Hyakumangoku" brand rice, which is often found in ryokan in Ishikawa Prefecture. However, their cooking method was exceptional, making it more delicious than any other ryokan I've stayed at before. While abalone, nodoguro fish, and Noto beef are available as additional orders, even without them, their delicately flavored dishes were more than satisfying. The bathwater quality was gentle on my sensitive skin and allowed me to soak for long periods without feeling overheated. The therapeutic waterfall shower relieved pain in my shoulders, neck, and back when applied to those areas—I even thought about saving money to come here for a week-long hot spring retreat someday! The room had been recently renovated; it was impeccably clean with a large LCD TV for added comfort. However, since we arrived early perhaps due to timing issues—the air conditioning wasn't turned on upon arrival during wintertime—it felt cold initially; preheating would have been appreciated during colder months like these! Lastly but importantly: homemade pudding by Okami (the hostess) tasted amazing too—overall providing excellent value exceeding expectations from this accommodation!

I stayed in an 8-tatami Room with a private type. The room was clean, the futon was tidy, and both the air conditioner and WiFi worked perfectly. It was unfortunate that the safety box for valuables was out of order. The facility and bath were also well-cleaned. It would have been nice to have cotton swabs available. The shared refrigerator is a large household type and kept things very cold, which was great! (The refrigerator in the Room sometimes requires you to turn it on after check-in, which can take hours to cool down. However, this shared refrigerator was already cold, which I really appreciated.) The well-maintained potted plants and framed picture of Mt. Fuji were delightful touches as well! I assume they are taken care of by the hostess or staff members. Thank you very much! I look forward to staying again!

We had a very comfortable stay surrounded by nature. The breathtaking sandy beach beyond the forest, the star-filled sky, and the delicately flavored meals were wonderful. The clean Room was slightly spacious and comfortable. During our 2-night, 3-day stay, I also worked in the Room, and the network was sufficient. Above all, I felt that the staff subtly created a cozy atmosphere. I would love to visit again for a longer stay next time.

Following our stay on Ishigaki Island, we stayed here for two more nights. Since APA uses the same system, it felt reassuring. In the morning, the private open-air bath was very relaxing. For dinner, we had a great time at a restaurant featured on a flyer available at the Hotel. As I was traveling alone, I really appreciated it. I would like to stay again.

The view was wonderful, and the Room had a charming, old-fashioned feel. Although there is no toilet or bath in the Room, everything is clean. The rice was delicious, and the Onsen was excellent. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The sashimi boat platter was absolutely delicious, and everything we ate was impressive. The host mother and everyone else were very kind. It seems they also offer a boat fishing Plan, which I’d like to book next time. We received Fukui Prefecture travel coupons and used them the next day as meal vouchers worth 5,000 yen per person to go eat eel.

Located in an Onsen area, but it is not an Onsen. However, there is a large public bath, and it is clean. The rooms are also clean and give a comforting feeling like returning to your family home. It was very relaxing. A very nice accommodation. Yukata, toothbrushes, and towels are provided. However, razors are not available, so please bring one if you need to shave.

The owner was very kind and wonderful.

Three adults stayed in a Room with a loft bed. Since we only needed it for sleeping at night, we had no complaints. There was a little mold in various places in the bathroom, but it came off when I scrubbed it with a body sponge. I’d appreciate a bit more cleaning, though it wasn’t unpleasant. Maybe it can’t be helped since most guests are foreigners? The drink bar and breakfast were so good you wouldn’t believe they’re free. We had a Multiple Night Stay, and the side dishes changed slightly each day. Breakfast starts at 7:00, but when we went around 6:50, some days we could grab seats and wait, while other days there was already a line. It feels busiest just after 7:00, so I recommend going down before 7:00 to secure seats or waiting until around 7:30 after the rush. Whenever I go to Tokyo, this will be my regular Accommodation!

The staff’s warm, friendly service made a great impression, and I had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast included fresh vegetables and fruit, and the homemade dishes were delicious. I would love to stay here again.

The Facility felt a bit dated, but the areas around the bed and the bathroom were thoroughly cleaned, which was good. If I had to mention something, it would be that there was no water provided for the in-room kettle. I assume you’re meant to fill it from the sink, but I wasn’t comfortable with that and didn’t use it. There were disposable slippers in the closet, but I don’t think most guests would notice them—ideally they should be placed with the amenities. Since nearby convenience stores were a bit far away, it would have been nice to have a small shop on-site. I had planned to use breakfast as well, but your website as well as Yahoo Travel and Rakuten Travel indicated that Western options were available; however, I was told only Japanese breakfast was offered, so I decided not to (due to a fish allergy).

With a location right in front of Mt. Fuji, opening the curtains in the Room revealed a perfect view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji. A small wooden deck with a wooden table and chairs allowed for an amazing coffee experience while enjoying the view of Mt. Fuji. This scenery at this price is incredibly cost-effective. The Room was spacious and very satisfying. I will definitely return!

I was very satisfied with the top-floor Room, which had a great view. The bed was larger than average and spacious enough. This was my second stay, and it was comfortable. I would like to stay again if I have the chance. The breakfast could have more variety, but considering the price, it is sufficient.
