On the day of my stay, I decided on a whim, got the Accommodation’s approval, and arrived after 8:00 p.m. When I told a man at the front desk that I was heading to a nearby izakaya for dinner, he cheerfully said, “Then please take this,” and gave me drink coupons for the place, lent me an umbrella, and even showed me a shortcut—always with a smile. It really put me at ease. The private bath was available until 11:00 p.m., so even though I arrived late I could relax and enjoy it. I also appreciated having a beer vending machine in the building. The property is old, but clean in an unpretentious way. The Room, futon bedding, and amenities all felt safe and comfortable to use. The other guests also seemed very considerate. Breakfast was great too—the main dish (grilled pork? hot pot?) went perfectly with rice and egg over rice. These days it’s rare, but everyone on staff I met appeared to be Japanese—maybe just by chance? Everyone provided such wonderful service that more than made up for the age of the building, and it was very comfortable throughout my stay. To be honest (and no offense meant), I only made a Reservation because there happened to be availability and didn’t expect much—maybe that’s why it felt even better. Next time I’d like to visit with dinner included. Thank you very much.

This was my first visit. I came mainly for the cuisine, but the room was impeccably clean and well maintained, and the amenities were stylish—overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Every dish was delicious and exceeded my expectations, and everyone was so kind; the service quality was excellent. I don’t eat much, so I only managed one drink with dinner, but it looked like other guests were enjoying the pairing menu—I'd love to try that next time. In the morning I wanted more café au lait as well, but I was simply too full. If you’re going, I recommend arriving with a good appetite (in every sense). As advice for first-time visitors: if you’re coming from the south along the lakeside road, keep going past while looking at the hotel up on your left; after a short while, turn left onto the road beside a place called Cafe Oliva. We ended up being guided by our phone map onto an extremely narrow mountain road as “the shortest route,” so hopefully this helps.

We stayed for three nights as a family of three. Above all, the location—right in front of the ocean—was incredible. The villa sits along the coastline that continues from Toguchi Beach, and it’s about a 5-minute walk to Toguchi Beach. It’s also less than a 10-minute drive from Irabu Ohashi Bridge, making it a convenient base for sightseeing. The daytime sea was beautiful, and the starry sky at night was amazing too. On a morning after rain, we even saw a huge rainbow over the ocean—an unforgettable view. The time we spent looking out at the sea and rainbow beyond the pool was especially memorable. There’s also a spot in front of the villa that feels like a small private beach. This time we decided not to swim due to an approaching tropical depression, but you can borrow pool items, sand-play toys, and life jackets. We were told that around typhoons, waves can wash away some of the sand and reduce the beach area. The pool is just the right size for families to enjoy together. And what we loved most was the BBQ. We bought our own ingredients and enjoyed lighting charcoal for the first time in ages. Having drinks while BBQing with the ocean right in front of us was unbeatable. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking utensils and basic seasonings, so self-catering is easy. There’s also a water dispenser, complimentary drinks in the fridge, and a washer-dryer with detergent—very convenient for longer stays. Trash can be sorted and left by the entrance in the morning for collection. We also appreciated being able to sleep comfortably on regular beds rather than an extra bed even with three people. There are four beds in total, so we were able to rest well and recover from travel fatigue. The staff were very kind as well. It’s not full-service like a luxury hotel with 24-hour staffing, but during staffed hours they responded quickly whenever we needed something. On our last day they even came outside to see us off despite strong winds and heavy rain—we’re truly grateful. Since it’s summer there are some insects as expected, but insect spray and repellents are provided; we recommend setting them up soon after arrival. Geckos are part of island life too (in a good way). Because priority seems to be given to views, there isn’t much eave overhang; during heavy rain we noticed some raindrop noise against windows at times—but in return, the view from inside is absolutely stunning. The windows have good sound insulation overall; normally you can barely hear waves indoors at all. If anything could be improved, having mats at the entrance or terrace door to brush off sand would be even more convenient. This is a villa where you can stay “as if living,” at your own pace. Our whole family was completely satisfied—it was an amazing 3-night stay!

This villa resort was a place I had always wanted to stay at, and this summer my wish finally came true.\nAs soon as we parked, the staff greeted us by name before we even introduced ourselves.\nWe completed check-in while enjoying a welcome drink and fruit, then headed to our Room.\nSeeing the view in person—one I had only seen in photos—was truly moving.\nBoth the BBQ dinner and breakfast were excellent.\nSince this trip also celebrated my partner’s new job, I emailed to request a surprise dessert plate, and I’m very grateful for their thoughtful assistance.\nI’m so glad we stayed here—it became a once-in-a-lifetime memory.\nI hope to return again someday if I have the chance.

Spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. With the Plan including parking, I was able to check in with peace of mind. There’s nothing that can be done about it, but everything was perfect except for the squat-style toilet. Sorry—I’m not comfortable with squat toilets. In particular, the young woman at reception was very pleasant and incredibly soothing. I had a great check-in and check-out experience. Thank you so much!!

The free-flowing Onsen was wonderful. The indoor bath was a bit on the hotter side, while the open-air bath was pleasantly lukewarm, and we fully enjoyed the unique appeal of each. The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. In particular, since I’m not fond of beef, I mentioned it in advance and they kindly accommodated my request. Thank you very much. Not only the meals but also everything else—including the Shuttle Service to the station—was handled with great kindness by all staff members. It was truly refreshing, and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely like to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time to celebrate my companion’s birthday, and it was an exceptionally comfortable stay that left us truly satisfied. What impressed us most was the outstanding service from all the staff—it truly felt like one of Japan’s leading hotels. Of course, every dish was absolutely delicious, and throughout the property we felt a refined elegance, thoughtful attention to detail, and a sense of ease. When we visit Osaka again, we would definitely love to stay here. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories.

This was about my fourth visit, and it had been a while since the last time, but once again I had a thoroughly satisfying stay in every respect. As it was just the beginning of September, we were served dobin-mushi and matsutake mushroom rice, allowing us to enjoy the flavors of autumn a little early. Everything was delicious. The Room was spotless, and the entire property felt clean and well maintained. Above all, every staff member was polite and composed; meals were served at just the right time, and they always seemed to be attentively looking out for guests in a natural way. It made for a truly comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. Fresh flowers were beautifully arranged throughout the building, everything was spotless, and the lounge offerings—drinks and sweets—were excellent. The breakfast mochi was also outstanding! It was a lovely Accommodation that left our whole family very satisfied. Thank you for the wonderful memories.

From the moment you meet the shuttle bus driver, whose warm and pleasant service sets the tone, your enjoyable trip begins. This was our second stay, and just like last time, we truly appreciated the heartfelt hospitality. Last time we arrived late and missed out on the pancakes, but this time we were able to enjoy them fully and were very satisfied. We choose this property for its rare teppanyaki dinner option, and every time we are delighted with the meal. This visit also made for a wonderful birthday celebration. We hope you will continue to provide the same thoughtful and creative hospitality in the future.

During our stay at Hanaogi, we loved the pleasant atmosphere throughout the Accommodation, and above all, we were touched by the warm hospitality of every staff member, which allowed us to spend a truly relaxing time. The Onsen was wonderfully soothing—both the open-air bath in our Room and the large public bath helped us unwind completely. The cuisine also captured a strong sense of seasonality, with excellent overall balance in both pacing and course order, bringing out the natural flavors of each ingredient—it was outstanding. To everyone at Hanaogi, thank you for creating such wonderful memories. We would love to visit again.

Due to unexpected trouble, my check-in was significantly delayed and I was about to give up on dinner, but they kindly prepared it for me without any fuss, which was a huge help. The food was delicious and full of Gifu flavors, the Room had a wonderful traditional atmosphere, and the Onsen was incredibly relaxing—everything was perfect! Next time, I’d love to stay and enjoy it at a more leisurely pace.

When I opened the IKYU website, the first Hotel that caught my eye left a strong impression with its view from the Room. After seeing the rooftop view on the Hotel’s official website, I felt I wanted to stay there. Later, I made a Reservation because I liked the hideaway-like layout of the Annex on the first floor. We were blessed with great weather and truly enjoyed the wonderful scenery. I would like to come again next year.

I stayed here for the first time two and a half years ago. I was completely satisfied with the Hotel’s location, the Room, and the large public bath. The property was also very clean, which left a great impression. So this time I didn’t hesitate to make a Reservation for two nights, and enjoyed visiting Mitsumine Shrine and sightseeing around Chichibu and Nagatoro. The “Tabibito no Yu” bath is a natural Onsen, and compared with other Route Inn properties it has more shower booths (and they’re ReFa), plus a larger bath—perfect for relaxing and unwinding. I definitely want to stay here again next time I visit Chichibu. Thank you for taking care of us for two nights. We’ll be back. One small disappointment: the in-room TV’s facility guide didn’t work (even when pressing the Home button), so I couldn’t check how crowded the large public bath was.

I stayed at Dormy Inn Aomori on a solo trip. I often use a Business Hotel when traveling alone, but this Hotel was far too wonderful to be called just a Business Hotel. First, the breakfast: a buffet with many local dishes—I ended up eating more than I should in the morning. Next, the baths: the water was very pleasant, and there is also an open-air bath and a sauna. I was disappointed to see a foreign parent and child soaking and throwing towels in the tub, but aside from that I could relax at ease. It was also fun to enjoy the complimentary ice cream while looking at the night view after bathing, and the late-night soba service was great as well. With smaller noodles and a light broth, even an elderly woman like me could enjoy it. It’s about a 7-minute walk from Aomori Station. The route is straight so it’s easy not to get lost, and it was convenient that there is an airport bus stop right in front of the Hotel. The male front desk staff were also very kind. Overall I was extremely satisfied except for a faint smell of cigarette smoke in my Room. I will definitely visit again. Thank you very much.

My family and I have stayed here many times. It’s close to the station, well located, clean, and comfortable. Above all, the front desk staff are all kind and courteous, making it a welcoming Hotel where you can feel at ease.

Both dinner and breakfast (we chose the Japanese set) were perfectly seasoned and truly delicious. The conger eel fritters were especially outstanding. The after-bath ice cream, morning milk, and complimentary drinks were also plentiful, so we could enjoy them throughout the day. The amenities were well stocked as well—Sekkisei toner, emulsion, face wash, and cleansing products were provided, so there was no need to bring our own.

It was my first mother-and-daughter trip in a long time with my daughter who lives in Tokyo. From the moment we left our luggage before check-in, the staff were wonderful. When I checked in and looked hot, a male staff member quickly brought me a cold wet towel. The staff we passed in the hallway, the staff who offered welcome drinks in the first-floor lobby, and the pregnant female staff member who guided us at breakfast (I wonder if she has started her maternity leave?)—everyone was so kind. The breakfast was delicious no matter what we chose, and the kitchen staff were also truly pleasant. We were completely satisfied with everything. The Room was clean and showed great taste. We rested comfortably. Perhaps because it’s not a large property, it was very quiet and relaxing. The beautifully arranged fresh flowers at the entrance were also wonderful. It became a truly enjoyable trip to Kyoto. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Even after making the reservation, whenever we contacted them to confirm details, the response was excellent, and we looked forward to our stay. From arrival through the next day, every staff member was kind and helpful. Just as other reviews said, the complimentary drink service was great—everything from beer to juice, water, and sparkling water—so both adults and children were satisfied. We were also happy they had coffee freshly ground from beans. The room was clean, and it was relaxing that there was a small area outside the bath where you could step out for a moment. We had requested children’s amenities in advance, and they even included adorable slippers, which made our child very happy. For our dogs as well, it wasn’t just a small crate—there were larger crates available, and as long as they wore a belly band/diaper belt indoors, they could spend time freely in the room, which gave us peace of mind. We initially wondered if dinner might be on the lighter side, but it was more than enough. From salad to fruit, it felt like a stylish course meal and everything tasted wonderful. It rained that day, but the staff moved the grill to a spot where we wouldn’t get wet so we could still cook outside. Breakfast was delivered in an adorable basket; this also felt like a course meal and we were completely satisfied. There is also a dog run nearby where our dogs enjoyed themselves while looking at the beautiful trees. More places are becoming pet-friendly for both dogs and children these days, but Kanata no Sato is somewhere you can stay comfortably with neither feeling stressed—definitely a place we want to return to. Next time we hope to enjoy BBQ while looking up at the beautiful night sky. Thank you very much for such a quiet, gentle healing stay.

Although I checked in late at night, thank you for your prompt and efficient assistance at the front desk. I’m still not used to the rain shower, but it was part of the fun. I used the breakfast buffet for the first time the next morning, and every dish was carefully prepared—it really gave me energy to start the day. The staff were all so welcoming with wonderful smiles that it made me smile too. Thank you for a delicious meal. I’ll be sure to stay with you again when I visit Fukuyama. Thank you very much.
