This was my first time staying here. It was also my first sightseeing trip to Beppu, and I’m glad I chose this Hotel. We decided to have dinner on short notice that day, and the staff handled everything politely and smoothly. It was an à la carte dinner, and every dish was delicious. Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful—you can choose a main dish, and there is a buffet with bread, salads, and more. Everything tasted great, making for a lovely breakfast time. The staff were very kind as well. The Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable—I wished I could have stayed longer. The open-air bath in the Room was also excellent. The amenities were well stocked, and since I enjoyed the Onsen many times, it was convenient to have extra towels available. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t good so we couldn’t see the view, but I imagine it would be beautiful on a clear day. It’s a place I’d like to recommend to friends. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the chance.

Perhaps because it was a weekday stay, but although it is very close to Kokubuncho, it was very quiet, and I did not notice any of the noise mentioned in the Reviews, so I had a comfortable stay. The location is very convenient, the price is reasonable, and the Room was clean—I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. I was also happy that comics were always available at the 1st-floor front desk.

The abundance of amenities is unparalleled. The drawback is that it's a bit of a walk from Namba Station. However, it's quiet because of that.

Clean rooms, excellent staff service, and overall a very satisfying Hotel.

It was the season of fresh greenery, and the Accommodation was quiet and surrounded by nature. I had made a Reservation for a Room without a view, but they kindly upgraded me to a higher-floor Room with a better view. From the Room, I could see the river and mountains, and also look down on the courtyard with a pond—an open and relaxing Japanese-style room. It felt worth choosing even if it cost extra. The Onsen had an atmospheric bath with excellent water quality, and I could soak at ease. The outdoor bath lighting at night was beautiful. Dinner was half-buffet style, and I ate until I was full. I would definitely like to stay again—thank you very much.

The tagline “an extraordinary space” is spot on, and it was a truly refreshing experience. ■Room The Room was very spacious, and the bed was large and wonderfully plush. As mentioned in Reviews, many of the appliances were from overseas brands, but they were made by high-performance manufacturers such as Hisense. The vertical air conditioner worked extremely well—it was so comfortable I wished I could take one home. ■Facility There was a 24-hour drink bar, and I especially appreciated that they had Hi-C Peach, which you rarely see these days. There was also an amusement area with go-karts and projection coloring, which made for a really fun stay. ■Dining All-you-can-eat Chinese cuisine with an order-style buffet. The fried chicken was delicious. They also offered seafood such as crab and shrimp, so we enjoyed it plenty. ■Onsen I like soaking in lukewarm water for a long time, so the temperature was perfect and I could relax without rushing. The Reservation-only open-air bath was cold in midwinter, but being able to enjoy a private soak under a sky full of stars was wonderful. ―― Points for improvement ―― ・Dinner buffet It was disappointing that there weren’t any shellfish like those shown in the photos (abalone, whelk/tsubugai, turban shell/sazae, or hard clams) despite the description suggesting “a wide variety of fresh seafood.” I love shellfish, but on that day the only option available was oysters—the one thing I can’t eat. (My companion said the oysters were plump and delicious, which made it even more disappointing.) ・Bed legs Both my companion and I hit our little toes on the bed legs when getting up. It’s partly our own carelessness, but it hurt quite a bit—adding protective padding such as sponge guards would make it safer. ・Cold areas inside the building While the Room itself was warm, areas like the corridor leading to the large public bath were very cold. I understand this may be unavoidable given the location/climate, but we would appreciate it if you could consider installing electric heaters or similar measures. I’ve listed some requests at the end, but overall we were satisfied with our stay. In particular, the drink bar and projection coloring were great—next time we’d love to bring our child as well. We’d like to stay again if we have another chance. (If possible, we’d be happy if the Accommodation Fee could be a bit lower.)

I am hooked on the homemade green bread. I always look forward to enjoying it toasted in the Balmuda toaster during my stay. This time, I tried the dashi ochazuke for the first time, and it was very delicious with a rich kelp flavor. I would love to stay here again.

This was my first time staying here. I was happy that parking was free. I also heard that the large public bath for women is properly kept locked, and I was impressed by how well it is managed. The Room was just right, and I chose this place because it is close to where I wanted to go.

I made an online Reservation and stayed for a Multiple Night Stay of four nights. The luxurious entrance had the atmosphere of an upscale Hotel. While the guest room facilities felt a bit dated, everything was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy, so I was able to stay comfortably. The only downside is that there are few restaurants within walking distance, but in return the pricing is very reasonable, and I’m extremely satisfied with the overall value for money. I can confidently recommend it to anyone who wants to keep accommodation costs down while still enjoying a high-quality space.

I stayed here before when I attended a concert and had a great experience, so I decided to return. The Room is compact but conveniently located relatively close to Hakata Station, and the affordable price is very helpful. The Room is clean and well-maintained. The customer service is excellent. The breakfast bread is delicious. I would stay here again.

A perfectly standard Room with no issues. Personally, I was a bit disappointed there was only one pillow, but it’s a business hotel so that’s understandable. With breakfast included at this price and a great location, it worked very well for my needs on this trip.

I stayed here for two days for work around Wakayama City. I had visited Wakayama on day trips before, but this was my first overnight stay. With little local knowledge to compare, I chose this Hotel because the price was reasonable and it looked good in the photos. (Location) It seems to be about a 5-minute walk from Nankai Electric Railway’s Wakayamashi Station, so it should be fine even if you’re traveling by train. However, the area is mostly residential with some factories nearby, so there aren’t many restaurants right next door. I recommend planning to eat around the station area. The nearest convenience store is also a bit of a walk, so it’s better to shop beforehand. We came by car with help from someone at our workplace, but perhaps because it was nearly fully booked that day, the adjacent public parking lot was full as well. If you definitely need parking by car, I recommend reserving the Hotel parking in advance. (Room) The Room felt spacious and clean. Even with a suitcase opened on a stand, there was still plenty of space left without getting in the way. The bathroom/toilet seemed relatively new; the bathtub was larger than expected and very comfortable. There was no step up into the bathroom (perhaps because the floor is raised due to stairs near the elevator hall), which made it easy to use. The ceiling didn’t feel low either. A few things about the Room stood out: - The light switches were spread out and hard to understand; labels would be helpful - The air conditioner blew directly onto me—cooling worked well but I worried about comfort/health (may depend on the Room) - It was hard to figure out how to adjust the bath water temperature; it was set all the way toward cold water at first, so hot water took a while and I panicked a bit - The sheets felt slightly damp Overall though, I think it’s a good place. (Service) - Not like big-city hotel staff, but everyone was warm, polite, and pleasant - Around 6:00 a.m., I went downstairs for a drink and staff were at reception; even if there’s an intercom when no one is present, having someone there is reassuring in case of emergencies - When we asked what to do since parking was full, they suggested possible options nearby and that really helped I don’t often stay overnight in Wakayama so I’m not sure if I’ll return myself, but someone who traveled with me comes into Wakayama Prefecture frequently for work—so in that case this could definitely be an option. I have stayed here several times. The Hotel is located in the Nakasu-Kawabata shopping arcade, and it is easy to access. My Room was a single, but it did not feel cramped. If I have the opportunity again, I would like to stay here again.

Due to a family bereavement, I stayed at the AZ Hotel near my parents’ home. I made a Reservation at short notice, but accidentally booked three nights. When I contacted you in a hurry on the day of my stay, you kindly told me that there would be no Cancellation Fee for one night, which was a great help. Breakfast had just the right variety and was delicious. I will stay here again when I return to Oita. Thank you very much.

Even though I arrived much later than the check-in time, the staff kindly accommodated me. I also enjoyed the wide variety of baths! Just one thing: many guests were barefoot inside the building, which I understand since it’s an Onsen, but if possible, it would be nice to have Japanese-style indoor footwear available (the disposable slippers in the Room were a bit small and hard to walk in), so those who want to wear them would have that option. Sorry for such a luxury request. I’m grateful to the kind front desk staff and to everyone on the team.

We traveled with my son’s family and looked for a Room where we could all stay together. The Room was spacious and had a jacuzzi, which everyone enjoyed. The dinner course was also excellent, with very tender meat. One disappointment was that there was no washing machine in the Room. There was a coin laundry, but we had to keep track of the time and go pick up our laundry, which made it hard to fully relax. Since this is a Resort Hotel with many beachgoers, I hope this will be improved.

The title may be a bit over the top, but this is my absolute favorite place—one that needs no introduction. Because of 1899, I can truly rest and then return to everyday life feeling ready to do my best again. This time, I enjoyed matcha every day and felt peacefully fulfilled. I’m also always excited that the breakfast selection has grown even more. It warmed my heart to know the front desk staff remembered me—I was truly happy. Thank you very much. I’m looking forward to the Autumn Rest Plan. I’ll be back again, and I appreciate your continued support.

All the staff were kind, and the property was clean. The Hotel did feel a bit dated. Breakfast and dinner were both very delicious—much better than I expected for the price. The Niigata rice was especially good. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the lounge were also nice. Roasting marshmallows over the irori at night was fun. The large public bath and open-air bath, fed by a private hot spring source, were excellent as well. However, it seemed a little different from Tsukioka Onsen’s typical emerald-green water with a thin oily film on the surface. Maybe there is a lot of added water? I’m not sure. Even so, considering the value for money, meals, various services, and how kind the staff were, I think it’s a good Hotel. Thank you for taking care of us. The town area of Tsukioka Onsen is beautifully maintained and very pleasant. It’s an Onsen I would definitely like to visit again.
