It was my first visit in a while, and I was completely satisfied. I felt truly refreshed and relaxed. Thank you sincerely for checking the dinner menu with us in advance and for your thoughtful consideration. I was also impressed by how delicious the breakfast was. The table decorations in the lobby were very beautiful. I would like to visit again soon. Thank you very much.

This was my second stay since the Accommodation first opened. I chose it for its great location right by the station and because I wanted to have the straw-grilled bonito for breakfast. I was very satisfied. I will stay here again.

The location was excellent—arriving by JR and using the Toei lines the next day made it very convenient. Despite the convenient location, it was quiet at night, perhaps because there are many universities nearby. I stayed for business this time, but I have also stayed here when visiting Tokyo Dome privately. Being able to walk to Tokyo Dome City is a big plus. I would definitely like to stay again.

Due to an approaching typhoon, we urgently changed to this Hotel because the Hotel we had originally booked did not have an indoor pool. It turned out to be the right decision. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurants were very helpful. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the outdoor pool because of the bad weather, but the indoor pool was more than sufficient. However, there was one thing that concerned me. The slide in the indoor pool is quite fast, but several people were playing at the end of it. Since it’s not a very large area, I was worried about someone coming down and colliding with them and causing an accident. A lifeguard was watching, but no one gave any warnings, and it was up to each person to decide when to go down. I think guests who have finished sliding should be asked to move away promptly, so please check this before an accident happens. There is also a craft corner inside the facility where you can decorate a small container yourself and take it home. The staff there were also very kind, and our child really enjoyed it. Both breakfast and dinner buffets were great as well. We would love to visit again if we have another opportunity. Thank you very much.

It was a very comfortable stay. The French dinner was outstanding, and we were truly satisfied! The bread was also excellent. We hope you will maintain this level of quality. The bath and the room layout were well designed, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail from the guest’s perspective. We would love to visit again.

We stayed here on a trip as a couple. The open-air bath was great, and the free-flowing hot-spring bath in our Room was also amazing! This time we booked a Plan with breakfast; it was delicious and just the right amount for us, so next time we’d like to stay with a Plan that includes dinner as well (we didn’t choose well for dinner this time...).

Just as the title says, this Accommodation was absolutely amazing in every way! Even before we arrived, they were waiting for us and kindly guided us to the parking area, then smoothly escorted us to the lobby. It was a bit of a walk from the main building to the annex, but from the moment we stepped in, the calm, crystal-clear atmosphere was so soothing. From the covered walkway you can see the sea through a pine grove, and even the lawn in the garden was beautifully maintained—everything felt spotless and impeccably clean. We checked in while enjoying a welcome drink in the lounge; all of the staff provided attentive service that never felt overbearing—just thoughtful and considerate. Dinner was served as a course meal, featuring exquisite dishes made with local Awaji ingredients and presented beautifully. The Western-style breakfast course was also outstanding. In particular, just as mentioned in other Reviews, the pot-au-feu was incredible. The lounge also had an excellent selection of high-quality alcohol, drinks, and food options, so we could truly relax at our own pace. Normally we would have needed to go out shopping for things, but this time everything we needed was available within the Accommodation—we were completely satisfied without leaving! The Room and amenities were perfectly prepared with nothing lacking, and having an open-air bath attached to our Room was fantastic! We would love to stay at Hamari-kyu again next time.

This trip was a relaxing getaway with my elderly mother. We are grateful for the thoughtful care from everyone at Suiou. At check-in, they noticed my mother using a cane. For bathing, they told us it can be slippery and that she was welcome to bring her cane into the Onsen. At meals, both breakfast and dinner, when we went to the restaurant they prepared a nearby seat for us, and they also let my mother use a cart to carry her food. Their kind words warmed our hearts. The only disappointment was that there were stairs at the entrances to the Onsen and the Living Café, but my mother seemed very satisfied. All of the food was delicious, and we could faintly see Mt. Iou from our Room window—making it a wonderful trip. We promised to come again next year if we are well enough. Thank you so much to all of the staff.

This was my first time using IKYU. We decided on short notice to take an Onsen trip three days later (on a weekday), and an AI recommended IKYU, so I installed the app and searched. The last-minute deal that came up was an accommodation in Izu (Koyu-ro Ikawa). Let me say this upfront: I will definitely return. It was that wonderful. I believe it’s an older Ryokan that has been renovated, and I was truly impressed by the concept. It’s a triumph of spatial design. The entire building is kept softly dim, with skillful lighting creating a luxurious atmosphere, and carefully selected sofas placed in the lobby. Together, these elements gently conceal the age of the building and create a gorgeous space where you can completely relax. It was also clear that every service and facility—such as welcome drinks and the after-meal dessert buffet—has been thoughtfully planned and provided. What I especially want to highlight is the private open-air bath in a separate annex on the first floor. You can soak in an indescribably wonderful space, and that time left a powerful impression on me. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. There is only one thing I regret: while almost all staff were perfect (100/100), when we arrived about an hour before check-in at 3:00 p.m., the young female staff member who came out from the back to assist us at reception was extremely disappointing. Her language wasn’t polite, and it made me feel as if we were being pushed out of the property. We pulled ourselves together and returned before 3:00 p.m., but everyone else was outstanding.

A wonderful Accommodation perched on a mountain. Service, Onsen, meals, and views—everything deserves five stars. We truly had a lovely time. Thank you very much. The foreign staff member who assisted us was very polite and hardworking, which was another great highlight. In the confirmation call the day before, they also checked about the Shuttle Service, which is available free of charge. Although it’s in Izu Kogen, you can enjoy panoramic ocean views and escape the heat—an undiscovered gem of an Accommodation. Enjoying an Onsen while looking out at the sea from our Room was amazing, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared to appeal to younger guests as well; made with locally sourced ingredients, they were delicious and served in just the right portions. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again.

I stayed here again because I had a very comfortable and satisfying stay two years ago. Just like last time, I was extremely satisfied with the warm, heartfelt hospitality and service. Since it was right after a typhoon, there were fewer guests, so I was able to relax even more. This is a Hotel I would love to return to again. Thank you very much.

As with last year, we stayed for two nights in July. This year, it was sunny every day for the first time, and we enjoyed the ocean obstacle course for two days in a row with our 8-year-old! We fell into the sea a lot, but because the water is so clear and beautiful, it felt much less scary. The seaside pool gets hot, but there was a nice breeze and it was comfortable. We could enjoy the pool from morning until night, the food was delicious, and we had a great three days at the Hotel! We also had shaved ice on the pool terrace in front of the restaurant—it was creative and delicious! Last year, getting around by cart was tough because of rain and wind, so this year we chose a Room near the front desk. But since it was sunny this time, next time I think we might choose a Room with a jacuzzi on the terrace.

The location near Takayama Station was excellent and very convenient. Takayama sightseeing was close by, and as a couple in our 70s, we were able to enjoy about a two-hour walk. The Hotel staff were kind, so we felt comfortable staying there. We had both breakfast and dinner, and the meals were delicious. We would like to stay again and would recommend this Hotel to friends.

The front desk staff were very courteous. Close to the station and convenient. There was a notice in the Room with staff-selected recommended restaurants, which was helpful. We also used the Japanese restaurant for lunch; it was calm and quiet, and reasonably priced. If I had to mention one drawback, I wish the breakfast buffet had a bit more variety.

Everything is outstanding in every way. The staff are warm, courteous, and welcoming, the Room is spacious and very comfortable, and the room-service breakfast is delicious—I’m completely satisfied. It makes me want to stay again right away. The pool also offers wonderful views and is a relaxing space. I truly love The Peninsula.

It was a very comfortable Hotel. Everything is designed to enhance guest satisfaction. The location is great, the room was very clean, nothing was lacking, and the breakfast was excellent. It’s also reasonably priced, which is easy on the wallet. Thank you for allowing me to bring my bicycle inside the Hotel. Next time, I’ll stay not on a solo trip but with my family.

The open-air bath at Shiun-no-Yu was outstanding. Breakfast is their top highlight, and the variety, selection, and taste were all perfect. I have stayed at La Vista in Hakodate, Kushiro, and Furano, and the high quality has been consistently maintained—it’s truly excellent.

Thanks to your call in advance letting us know there would be road closures due to a festival, we were able to arrive before the roads were closed. As a result, we enjoyed the festival and the fireworks, making our stay truly memorable. The staff’s attentiveness was outstanding, and the parking valet service in particular exceeded our expectations by far. There are not many places where great service alone makes you want to stay again, but we would definitely love to return. We also recommended it to our family after we got home. Just one note: since I don’t often sleep on futons, I felt the mattress was thin and the pillow was low.

Everything—from the cuisine and the Onsen to the private dining room prepared for our meals—was wonderful, and we were able to truly relax from the bottom of our hearts. The food in particular was exceptional; each dish reflected careful craftsmanship, leaving us deeply satisfied. Above all, the Onsen was truly outstanding, and we enjoyed it three times during our stay. The water felt wonderfully gentle on the skin, bringing a soothing warmth that seemed to melt away tension from deep within. We were able to fully savor the blessings of Yugawara’s hot springs. The comforting afterglow lingered long after bathing—it was a genuinely healing experience. Thanks to you, this became a very memorable stay. We would love to visit again.

I stayed here again for the first time in a while after climbing Mt. Tateyama. It’s in a great location that you can reach from Toyama Station without getting wet even in the rain, and there are restaurants and cafés in the same building, including Doutor. In the lobby, there is an area exclusively for guests with plenty of manga and magazines/travel guides, and you can enjoy free coffee as well. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties, and the breakfast venue is spacious. The Facility is starting to feel a bit dated, but the rooms are kept clean. I stayed on a weekend and found the rates relatively reasonable. They also stored my luggage until evening after checkout, and since the weather was unpredictable that day, I was even able to borrow an umbrella. Overall, I was very satisfied and would like to stay at this Hotel again.
