This was my second stay. I love Onsen and visit many hot spring areas, and the water quality at Sakakibara Onsen is excellent. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the large public bath in the Accommodation is outstanding. Although it is a low-temperature bath, you can also soak in the natural spring source, and it leaves your skin smooth and silky. During the day, the day-use bath is open to non-staying guests as well. The age of the Facilities cannot be denied, but even so, it makes me want to come back again. This time I visited during firefly season. The Accommodation’s bus took us to a viewing spot that only locals would know. It seems there were fewer fireflies this year due to a typhoon, but it still felt more than enough. The guide was very kind and made it an enjoyable experience.

We always stay here when traveling with three generations, and we truly appreciate your hospitality. (It also feels nostalgic because my father worked here back in the Kanpo days!) Since the renovation, it has become even more comfortable for children, and we made more wonderful memories again this time. As part of the summer vacation program, our kids were thrilled right after arrival with the cardboard maze and the guests-only soft-serve ice cream and ice pops! At dinner, there were also summer-only treats like chocolate bananas and shaved ice—like a fun festival. They were set up so they couldn’t be seen from our seats at first, so after the kids finished their meal and we told them about it, they happily went to get some. We really like that both breakfast and dinner are served at the table rather than buffet-style, so we can relax and enjoy our meal. The dishes used Yaizu sashimi and rice, and we could feel the care put into the food. And we were absolutely full!!! The Onsen water quality has been great for years, and my mother and daughter were able to relax together. We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath, and had a welcome little visitor (a cicada)! The kids loved it (it was gone by morning). The staff at the front desk and shop were kind and helpful as well—this is a Hotel where we can feel safe and comfortable. If there were a Room that could accommodate six people, that would be perfect; from next time we will need to book two rooms. We would be very happy if there were an option where everyone could stay together. Thank you again for your continued support.

I wasn’t sure until the very last minute whether I could make it due to health concerns, but I’m so glad I was able to come. Thank you very much for all your help and kindness, everyone on the staff. For me, everything about this Hotel is perfect. I truly look forward to visiting again. Until then, I hope to improve my health so I can come without any worries. Thank you again.

I usually stay at Route Inn in Tendo, but it was fully booked this time, so I stayed here as there was availability. The Accommodation is not very old, and the Onsen has plenty of space, so I was satisfied. I will stay here again.

It’s just a short walk from the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby, so I always stay here. The Room is clean, it’s quiet with no noise from next door, and I can relax well. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff are always friendly and pleasant.

I’ve been staying here for years, so I always feel at ease. It’s close to the station, and there are plenty of supermarkets, convenience stores, and reasonably priced places to eat nearby. It’s also fun to take a walk around town.

I was able to stay at a reasonable price during the Obon holiday period. There are many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. It feels like many of the guests are international travelers.

Right in front of Sakura-machi Bus Terminal, it’s an ideal location for getting to the airport and other destinations. The Onsen was comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with local specialties!

Family-friendly and comfortable for a pleasant stay. We keep coming back! Looking forward to staying again.

It was so close and convenient that I almost walked past it, thinking it might be a bit farther from the station. The Room was spacious and clean, and I’d like to stay here again.

I stayed for one night on September 4. Due to the typhoon, it rained all day, but I was extremely satisfied with everything—the convenient location near the station, the Onsen, the guest room (2F Japanese-modern style), the meals, and the service. The other guests staying that day also had a refined atmosphere. A good Hotel really is good. I usually only travel on a budget, so this was quite a culture shock for me. I will definitely return, and I’d like to try other Forest Resort affiliated Hotels as well.

Because I live in Kanagawa and this area is so close, I had never looked for Accommodation around here before. Thanks to IKYU, I was able to discover such a wonderful Accommodation so nearby. Although I had seen some comments from other guests complaining about the staff’s service, every member of the team provided warm, hospitality-filled service without exception, and I truly enjoyed my stay in the best possible mood. This is a very quiet Accommodation with only 16 Rooms, and there are Onsen not only in the Rooms but also private baths and a large public bath. The meals were plentiful and well balanced; we were delighted to enjoy grilled char (iwana) with salt and Koshu beef as well. The road leading to the Accommodation is narrow, but as it is the only property there, it felt like a hidden hot spring retreat—absolutely wonderful. Even in this time of labor shortages, an elderly staff member kindly took care of us attentively until the very end. Knowing how demanding it must be late at night and early in the morning left me deeply impressed. They even saw us off until we were completely out of sight. I would love to visit again; however, we were told that only 8 of the 16 Rooms are currently in operation, making Reservations difficult to secure. I am truly grateful for an unforgettable trip accompanied by the soothing sound of the river flowing throughout the night.

When I made the Reservation, it was during the Obon holiday period, so only a semi-double room was available. However, I requested a change to a twin room. At check-in, a cancellation became available and you were able to accommodate the change. I truly had a comfortable and pleasant night. Thank you very much.

The top-floor spa offered breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea—it was amazing.

One of my favorite Hotels, and I've stayed here several times! On the day of my stay, it was the last day of the summer festival, and the streets were bustling with people. It was lively and fun, so I couldn't help but join in! (Haha) The Hotel offered a drink service with beer available, as well as snacks like beans. I also appreciated being able to park my bike for free—thank you! The complimentary breakfast in the morning was also much appreciated. Looking forward to staying again!

I only stayed overnight and didn’t have any meals, but the Facility was very clean. Whenever I messaged via LINE, I got an immediate reply, and the explanations were provided by video, so there was no need to talk back and forth, which allowed me to secure plenty of personal time. I’d like to use it again.

We stayed here the night before heading to Sado. Since we booked on the day, we received a discount and it was great value for money. The Room isn’t large, but it was comfortable enough. The shared area had manga and massage chairs, and the kids enjoyed them too. The buffet breakfast on the 10th floor was very reasonably priced—so cheap I felt it might even be less than buying food at a convenience store. There was a good selection, and the rice (from Niigata) was delicious. At the Hotel entrance there was also a shaved-ice service (mainly for kids?), and although it was only available for a short time, we had a pleasant stay overall. One thing that confused me: we parked in the affiliated multi-story parking garage right in front of the Hotel. When asked about our parking ticket, I handed it over thinking it would be free, but at checkout it only went from 1,200 yen to 1,100 yen. The website also says 1,100 yen, but I couldn’t tell whether that is the regular rate or the discounted rate. Since the front desk took my ticket, ran it through their machine, and returned it without any explanation, I think some guests may mistakenly assume parking becomes free.

We stayed for one night with our dog. The dog’s name tag was adorable. We were very satisfied with the meals, the Room, the bath, and the complimentary drink service—it was so comfortable that it made us want to stay another night. Since it was raining, we didn’t go to Matsumotoro’s baths, but we’re already talking about going next time.

We chose this Room for our daughter and son-in-law and our 5-month-old grandchild. The baby bath, diaper disposal bin, and even a baby crib in the restaurant were very helpful. Thank you for your thoughtful care. The Onsen water was slightly greenish and pleasantly silky. Since day-use guests are also accepted, you may need to plan your time for the large public bath, but early in the morning it felt like we had it all to ourselves. We would like to visit again.

This was my second stay. The location is excellent, and with advance reservation we were able to use a covered parking space. It’s about a 1-minute walk from Shioiri Station, which makes it very convenient to leave the car parked and travel by train. For breakfast, if you request it at the front desk on the day, you can enjoy a freshly made omelet at a reasonable price. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Miura or Misaki Port for food and drinks—and to fully enjoy tuna.
