We were lucky with the weather and could see both Mt. Chokai and the sunset sinking into the horizon from our Room. We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, and the Hotel breakfast was excellent, with different menu items each day and seasoning that felt healthy (not too bland). The location is right by JR Sakata Station, with the highway bus stop directly in front. The city library is located on the lower floors of the Hotel. If you come to Sakata, this is a Hotel I would highly recommend!!

We stayed as a family of three in an 11th-floor Room with a private open-air bath. It was an Ichiryū Manbaibi and an auspicious direction, and we also felt a special connection because Shika-no-Yu was the destination of my late parents’ honeymoon, so we chose it without hesitation. The Room was spacious and spotless, and we slept soundly in the beds. We also thoroughly enjoyed the private lounge, including the matcha experience, a variety of nostalgic sweets, and plenty of coffee. The Japanese meals were delicious and easy to digest, and the fruit and sweets for dessert were beautifully presented and memorable. In the evening we had fun with table tennis and Othello, and the panoramic open-air bath on the 12th floor was uncrowded and very relaxing. We were able to fully recharge over two days. We plan to visit again in autumn. It was an excellent-value Hotel stay with attentive service and real character. Thank you very much.

We stayed here to celebrate a birthday. The sashimi came with daikon carved into a crane, and there was also sekihan (red rice). Everything looked beautiful and tasted great, leaving both our stomachs and hearts full. All of the staff were wonderful and very considerate, which made our time here truly enjoyable. Thank you very much.

It was convenient to take the JR from New Chitose Airport to Otaru, and from the station we could walk through the covered arcade to get there. The canal was also within easy walking distance, and the former Bank of Japan Otaru Branch was nearby as well—great location. The Room was simple, and amenities such as hair ties were provided in the Room. The vanity area in the Room had a slight musty smell. The soup curry at breakfast was very delicious. We could make Eggs Benedict ourselves, which our child enjoyed. The vegetable salad was fresh, and the fruit—especially blueberries and plums—was excellent. Since it was during summer vacation, there were lines for breakfast, so it’s best to go as early as possible. The night parfait on the 11th floor had a great atmosphere and looked adorable—we really liked it—but it wasn’t clear whether certain time slots or a Reservation were required. It seems to be available only for one hour from 8:00 PM, and making a Reservation is probably recommended.

In the latter half of a three-day weekend, our schedule opened up, so we quickly found this place and made a Reservation. We asked to Change the Reservation from the Room we had booked to a new Japanese-modern bedroom with beds—and it was absolutely the right choice. We had a very satisfying stay. We woke up at 4:00 a.m. and watched the World Cup final on the projector’s large screen. It became my favorite Room I’ve ever stayed in. The Onsen was too hot for us as a couple. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff were also excellent. They even walked us to our car on departure, and wiped down our windshield that had gotten dirty from the rain at night—truly outstanding hospitality. This is a Ryokan we would love to visit again.

It’s becoming my regular Accommodation for trips to Tokyo. I’m always very satisfied with the staff’s excellent service, the cleanliness of the Room, and especially the breakfast. This time, though, I felt it wasn’t really “Premier.” First, the disposable slippers that used to be in the Room were gone. When I asked at the front desk, I was told they had discontinued them. Maybe because there are many international travelers, or perhaps a cost-cutting measure under the name of being eco-friendly… That said, they told me they could bring them to my Room upon request. I prefer relaxing barefoot in the Room, so I asked—sorry for the trouble. Also, there is an amenity bar in front of the elevator to the guest floors, but compared with recent Business Hotels it felt limited in variety and somewhat poorly arranged. The breakfast I was most looking forward to was delicious. However, it was a bit warm and humid inside; if it were a little cooler, I think I could enjoy it even more. The building is directly connected to the station and convenience stores, and there are many commercial buildings nearby so dining options are plentiful. It’s one of my favorite Hotels, so I hope to see improvements.

My husband wasn’t feeling well at check-in, and you responded promptly, which was very helpful. Everyone greeted us warmly, and the staff were very pleasant. The Hotel is close to the station, and there is also a supermarket in the same building as the Hotel, which was very convenient. We stayed with our 1-year-and-10-month-old child and had no particular issues; we were able to spend our time comfortably. Thank you very much.

Everything was excellent, and we were very satisfied with this Hotel! We’ll definitely stay again soon.

The view from the Room was enjoyable, with a clear look out over various roads. The temperature in the large public bath was not too hot—just right for me, comfortable enough to stay in for a long time. The lounge was cozy, and I used it before and after check-in, after bathing, and even after check-out. I also thought it was fun that there were games like Othello available. There were many young staff members, and everyone was kind with wonderful smiles. Thank you very much.

The day before my stay, I noticed a mistake in my Reservation and contacted them. They responded politely, explained any additional charges, and I was able to stay without any issues. The cleaning staff also greeted me with a smile, which made it a wonderful trip. I would like to stay again!

This was our second stay. All the staff provided very courteous service. The meals were delicious, and the Onsen and the entire property were impeccably clean. The views from the restaurant and the top-floor guest room were truly wonderful. There is also a day-use Onsen within easy walking distance, so we were able to enjoy a variety of experiences. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much for everything.

In June 2026, I stayed one night at Dormy Inn Kanazawa. It’s close to the station, and it was great that they could store my luggage when I arrived in Kanazawa, and also keep it for me after checkout the next day. The Room was simple and very clean. The air conditioner had a remote control, so I could adjust it myself, which was convenient. There was water and some snacks in the refrigerator, and I enjoyed them. The Onsen is on the 14th floor, and you can go there in loungewear and slippers. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, and at the sinks there is a hair dryer as well as toner and lotion. After the Onsen, I also had ice cream and coffee. In the morning you can have a probiotic drink. However, when I went at night it was crowded, and some guests reserved washing stations by leaving their personal items there even though shelves are provided for belongings—so I had to wait a few minutes. That’s why my rating is 4 stars. It would be helpful if a clear notice could be posted to discourage this behavior so everyone can use the facilities comfortably. There is also complimentary “yonaki soba” (late-night noodles) served after 9:00 p.m., and since the portion isn’t large it was easy to finish. I traveled with my family, and they also said they liked the Onsen very much. My overall impression: great location near the station, polite staff service, plus nice extras like ice cream, coffee, and late-night noodles. I would like to stay again.

Thank you for taking care of us. I stayed for the third time on this trip, as I was visiting relatives’ graves. Mr./Ms. Hatta’s bath is always kept very clean. Just as instructed in the Room guide, I tried soaking in the tub for 3 minutes, washing my hair, then soaking again for another 3 minutes. The jacuzzi also relieved the fatigue in my lower back. I also tried the towel pack—my skin felt moist and plump, and even three days after returning home it still feels hydrated. For dinner, everyone was completely full from the kaiseki meal. For breakfast, I always have la-ho and beef curry. The local konnyaku, homemade yogurt, and tofu were delicious as always. The person who cooks the fried eggs is always kind and attentive as well. We also always enjoy feeding the carp. I would like to stay again when we come to visit the graves.

We had a wonderful time surrounded by exceptional hospitality. First, the Shuttle Service from Odawara Station to the Hotel—and of course back from the Hotel to Odawara Station—was excellent. The view from our Room was also stunning, and we were delighted by how delicious the French course dinner was in the dining room. The Onsen water quality was great, leaving our skin moisturized and smooth. My wife has had treatments at many spas, and she said the body treatment at Spa IZUMI was the most relaxing and enjoyable she has ever experienced. The staff’s high level of service and attentiveness truly reminded us why it’s Hyatt. Everything—the Room, meals, Onsen, and service—was outstanding. Thank you very much for such a happy stay.

I visit Hiroshima several times a year and often stay at this Hotel. Sometimes it’s hard to get a Reservation, but when there’s availability I book immediately. It’s very convenient—close to Hiroshima Station and the bus terminal. The Room is spacious, and the bathtub is large with a separate washing area. I’ve also made a Reservation for August.

It was very convenient, as the Hotel is close to a streetcar stop and there are shopping streets and commercial facilities nearby. I really liked the bathroom with a washing area, and the bathtub was spacious. However, the underside of the drain cover was darkened, so I would appreciate it if this kind of detail could be cleaned without being overlooked. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable Room, and I would like to stay here again if I have another chance to visit Hiroshima.

This was the main destination of our trip, and we had been looking forward to it. The moment we entered the lobby, we were thrilled to be greeted by adorable cats. They weren’t trying to please people; they were relaxed and lounging all over the place, and it was immediately clear they are well cared for. I’m not sure whether the cats with a cherry blossom mark on their ears are rescued cats and those without are house cats, but they were all very friendly and let us pet them. If we could have stayed for a Multiple Night Stay, we probably would have ended up with a favorite cat—but honestly, they were all cute. On our way out, my husband couldn’t find his favorite cat and was looking everywhere; then the cat came into the lobby right as it opened, which absolutely made our day. We stayed on the third floor, and whenever we opened our door there were cats lying around in the hallway—it was so heartwarming. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and just the right amount. The route to the Hotel is a bit hard to find, but this is definitely a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. For cat lovers who want to stay with cats, it’s an irresistible place.

I have been staying here for several years, and this is my third stay this year, following winter and spring. The seasonal cuisine is both delicious and beautifully presented. The drinks in the refrigerator have changed from Jurokucha to green tea since last year, but I would prefer a caffeine-free tea at night.
