The beautiful Japanese garden, the impeccably maintained traditional building, and above all, the staff’s attentive service and thoughtful care made this a truly memorable Accommodation. I stayed with my elderly parents, and thanks to your considerate support, we were able to spend our time comfortably. Dinner began with refreshing summer appetizers, followed by fresh sashimi, a small hot pot with eel, and Sendai beef sirloin—each served in just the right portions and thoroughly enjoyed. The handmade soy milk hot pot at breakfast was also healthy and delicious. At first the open-air bath in our room felt a bit hot, but it soon became wonderfully soothing, and I could tell it was high-quality Onsen water. My parents were very happy as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A belated note, but I visited in June. The bellflowers were in bloom, and I was truly delighted. Thank you for the peaceful garden and the calm atmosphere inside the hall, as well as to the kind staff at reception and in the restaurant. The morning service was also a comforting time. I also learned about the Kukai exhibition from a brochure there and went right away. When I visit Kyoto again, I would love to stay at Chishakuin Temple.

The building is a bit old, but the service, meals, and Onsen were all excellent. The staff’s warm hospitality was truly wonderful. Thank you very much.

While preserving the traditional machiya atmosphere overall, the Accommodation has been thoughtfully renovated with a focus on key areas such as the bathroom and kitchen—spacious, spotless, and highly practical. It was a comfortable space with an excellent sense of balance. Unlike a typical Hotel stay, it offered an experience that blends into the neighborhood, and I felt as if I were spending my very first day after moving in. There are many lighting fixtures, and being able to fine-tune them to suit different situations was very convenient. The complimentary local drinks—such as roasted green tea and cider—were a delightful touch that added to the travel mood. Everything from the teapot and cups to the tray and even the hair dryer had a refined design that was pleasing to look at. It was a wonderful Room combining quality with functionality. Under normal circumstances this would unquestionably be a 5-star stay, but this time I am rating it 3 stars. The guests upstairs ran around for minutes at night and again the next morning like shuttle runs, even falling loudly at times. It was noise at a level that would feel excessive even in an ordinary Hotel—and all the more so in a machiya-style place like Komado. Even if our floors were reversed and I were staying upstairs, it would still have carried through. It was extremely difficult to endure. I wanted to raise this through staff, but neither the main phone line nor the emergency contact number could be reached around 7:30 p.m. I believe this Accommodation’s core appeal is its high-quality feel that blends seamlessly into everyday life in town, so it was deeply disappointing that such noise is fundamentally incompatible with that experience. That said, if you are not paired with guests like we had this time, it will surely be an outstanding stay without complaint. Being able to look out onto the courtyard was also fantastic; it is illuminated at night and offers scenery different from daytime—I never got tired of it!

This was my first time staying in a villa on a trip to Karuizawa! It’s an Accommodation I’d recommend if you want a truly out-of-the-ordinary getaway. We stayed in a private rental villa, and the moment we stepped into the Room, we were excited by the stylish space filled with the warmth of wood. There was an outdoor living area and a fireplace. Lighting the fireplace cost extra (1,100 yen), but it added such a chic touch. There was also a theater room and even a hammock, so there’s plenty to enjoy indoors as well. The Facilities were well equipped, with a kitchen and BBQ area—perfect for anyone who wants to relax and spend quality time with friends or family. The surroundings were quiet and immersed in nature, making both the morning air and nighttime atmosphere absolutely wonderful. The staff were courteous, and we felt comfortable from check-in onward. Everything was clean, and it felt like even the smallest details were well maintained. We chose this place because many Reviews mentioned how comfortable and clean the Facilities are—and that they wanted to return—so we’re glad we did. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy a luxurious stay in Karuizawa that’s different from an ordinary Hotel.

It was a simple, lovely, spacious Room. My child was very happy as well. Just one thing: the walls were thin, and the guests in the next Room were noisy until late at night, so we couldn’t sleep. I suppose that may be a downside of being able to accommodate many people. We would appreciate it if you could consider some soundproofing measures. Overall, our stay was excellent, and the staff were very considerate, so we would like to stay again.

I’m so glad I was lucky enough to get a Reservation at the Accommodation I’d been hoping to stay at when visiting Shodoshima! Thank you for emailing me in advance to confirm that my stay date fell on your Children’s Day, and for your very attentive support even before we arrived. The meals were excellent—we enjoyed plenty of Shodoshima’s local vegetables and fish, and we were completely satisfied. Thank you as well for the careful explanations of each dish and for adding a final message. The Onsen was private and wonderful. It was a shame that our timing didn’t work out, and in the end we couldn’t use one of them no matter when we checked… I also really appreciated the free drink service. We were too full to try the homemade fruit drinks or alcohol, so next time I’d like to come with more time (and room in my stomach), haha. Breakfast was delicious too—I finished everything! It was fun chatting about wanting to go to live shows, haha. I hope you enjoy your private time as well, so you can do even more wonderful work. One small thing: I wish the blind on the Room bathroom window could be adjusted. It felt like it might be visible from outside… haha Other than that, it was an incredibly relaxing space—perfect. Shodoshima is such a wonderful place. I’ll be back!

A wonderful Room that’s perfect for a first trip to Yokohama. It’s close to Yamashita Park, so we went for walks at night and in the morning. I was looking forward to the Minato Mirai night view, but I ended up more intrigued by the rooftop of a nearby low-rise building with a real local feel. In the morning, I was thrilled to see Mt. Fuji in the distance. The bath was spacious, and the shower felt great—completely satisfying. The amenities and in-Room coffee were just as expected. Breakfast is buffet-style with a wide variety of options—it was hard to choose. I wanted to eat more, but my stomach couldn’t keep up. The parking is a tower system, but they guided us properly so we felt at ease. We were completely satisfied with everything—such a lovely Hotel!

We were extremely satisfied and had a wonderful summer vacation. The Room was spacious with a great view—perfect. We also used the lounge, and both the drinks and food were excellent, making it a very comfortable space. We would definitely like to stay again.

Just as the title says. This was a family trip mainly for Kamogawa Sea World, and we were truly satisfied with everything—the service, the Onsen Facility, and the location. If I had to mention just one thing, the pool on the rooftop with an outstanding view would have been even better if it were a bit larger.

Conveniently located near the station with covered access so you can arrive without getting wet, and as soon as you step inside, you’re welcomed by a luxurious fragrance. This was my second stay, and just like last time, every front desk staff member provided outstanding hospitality—service on par with a top-tier Hotel. The Room was spacious, the in-house slippers were soft and fluffy terry cloth, and the amenities were properly prepared in both the Room and the large public bath rather than being set out in small packets for guests to take freely. At the entrance to the large public bath, staff were on standby, and even though I forgot to bring towels from my Room, they kindly lent me some without hesitation. I ended up bathing during a busy time and had to wait for a shower, so it would have been nice if there were an update on how crowded it was before entering or a space where guests could wait. They also arranged a taxi smoothly; despite being right by the station there is also a drop-off area, and everything about this place is unbelievably wonderful for this price. It’s a Hotel I’d want to stop over at even if Himeji weren’t my destination—I’ll definitely stay again. Thank you!!

This was my third stay, following last year, with visits in June and July this year. With the cool highland climate, I have also made a Reservation for next month. The room was thoroughly cleaned and very tidy, so I had a comfortable stay. The staff’s service was generally excellent, though a few seemed to have some difficulty understanding Japanese. The Onsen private bath was clean and relaxing, and I was very satisfied. The food quality was high, with great ingredients prepared deliciously. It seems they had my previous stay on record from last month, and they thoughtfully ensured the menu did not overlap—an attentive touch that made me very happy. The portion sizes were just right, though younger guests might find them a bit small. One suggestion: the dress code at meals is smart casual, but as this is a Resort Hotel, it may be nice to allow dining in loungewear so guests can relax. Some airlines provide pajamas in first or business class on long-haul flights to help passengers enjoy meals comfortably. I would appreciate it if you could consider this. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

I stayed here because I wanted to relax on my own for my birthday. I booked a Port Tower-side double Room, and the view was great, so I was able to spend a peaceful time by myself. It was an early check-in, but thank you for accommodating me.

This was my fourth stay. I love Kusatsu and visit three or four times a year, and I have stayed at La Vista Kusatsu Hills four times in a row. I am very satisfied with the large public bath, the private reservable baths, and the open-air bath in the Room. The view from the hill is also wonderful. I also enjoy the meals—not only the dinner course, but especially how delicious breakfast is.

We stayed here on our first Disney trip with kids in two years. We also stayed about 10 years ago, and it’s still a wonderful Hotel—breakfast was delicious as well. Most of all, our kids were truly thrilled! I also remember how great the breakfast was when I visited with my husband before. Everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful, and our kids even said, “They’re all so nice.” It really means a lot when staff are so warm to children. It made us forget how tired we were from Disney (in a good way). We’re planning to come again next year, so we’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We stayed in the largest Room. Even the bath in the Room had a view of Lake Ashi. For dinner, our second son wanted Western food, so we chose French cuisine. It was delicious!! He especially liked the bread. The women’s bath was amazing too, with an open-air bath and a mist sauna!! We happened to stay on a day when there were fireworks. We went to watch from a spot where you can see them from the observation deck and the bridge below. They looked absolutely beautiful! In the evening, the lounge becomes a free lounge where you can enjoy drinks and snacks! At check-in, we also booked in-Room massages for all four of us!! I fell asleep halfway through. For breakfast, we chose Japanese cuisine. The grilled fish was horse mackerel and it was delicious!! It’s a Hotel I’d love to stay at again when visiting Hakone.

The luxurious free-flowing Onsen fed directly from the source was incredibly soothing, and we found ourselves returning again and again throughout our stay. The morning drink service was also exceptional—enjoying coffee while taking in the breathtaking view was a special treat, and we were able to spend a blissful moment. Thanks to the proprietress’s thoughtful sense of style throughout the property and the warm, attentive hospitality of all the staff, our whole family made unforgettable memories. Thank you again.

Access from the Hotel to various sightseeing spots was excellent, and with the Onsen it made for a truly fulfilling one-night trip. Ice cream after the bath Ramen at night Yakult after the morning bath Coffee before departure It’s a Hotel I can’t help but recommend to everyone.

It was a wonderful stay. From the pleasant feel of the hallway carpet, to the spacious Room, everything was great. Above all, the cleanliness was outstanding—just what you would expect from the Imperial Hotel Group. If I had one request (which may be asking too much), the duvet felt a bit too thick for the season. It can be hard to get that balance right. I plan to stay around Akasaka again next year, so I will definitely return.

Kyoto was experiencing extreme heat day after day, but the time I spent at the Hotel and ShinPuhKan was very comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my stay without overexerting myself. The breakfast in particular exceeded my expectations. Each dish was carefully prepared, and I could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was delicious, and it became one of the highlights of my stay. The location integrated with ShinPuhKan was also very appealing. During the hottest hours, I relaxed at the Hotel, then took a walk around the area once it cooled down, which made for a truly pleasant experience. All of the staff were warm and welcoming as well. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Kyoto. Thank you very much.
