I stayed here while sightseeing in Osaka. The hotel is conveniently located near the station, and the room was spacious and easy to use. The table and chairs in the room were very practical and made my stay even more comfortable. The amenities, welcome drink, and breakfast were simple but well taken care of, and I was very satisfied. The staff were kind as well, which made for a great trip. Thank you very much.

We stayed one night at the newly opened Kakoi to celebrate our dog’s birthday. The hospitality of all the staff was excellent, and the young female staff member in charge of our room was very attentive. From check-in to check-out, we had a truly comfortable stay. We were satisfied with everything—the room, the bath, the meals, and the service. Our dog enjoyed it too. We would love to visit again.

I stayed for one night to relax at the hot spring facilities and the hotel. The hot springs offered both lukewarm and hot baths, so I could soak in the lukewarm bath at a leisurely pace and truly unwind. From my room, I could see USJ, and it was fun to watch the staff at work and the roller coasters in motion without ever getting bored. The room was well soundproofed, making it pleasantly quiet. Thank you very much.

It’s a very beautiful hotel. Both the room and the large public bath were kept impeccably clean, and I was able to spend my time there in complete comfort. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary trip. From the moment we arrived until the very end, we truly had a wonderful time. The Room was spacious and spotless, with thoughtful attention to every detail. It was so comfortable that we honestly wished we could stay there forever. We were also delighted to receive a Room upgrade this time—thank you so much. Above all, the meals were beyond words—absolutely delicious. Every single dish was outstanding, and the dining experience itself became a special memory. Because it was our anniversary, you even prepared a surprise dessert plate for us. We were deeply touched by your unexpected kindness. All of the staff were warm throughout our stay, full of attentive care and hospitality, and we found ourselves thinking again and again how glad we were to have chosen this place. The Room, the meals, the Onsen, and especially the staff’s thoughtfulness—everything was exceptional. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our stay. We have stayed at many Accommodations over the years, but this is without a doubt the best one we have ever experienced. We are truly glad we chose “Hakone Gen” for such an important anniversary. When we visit Hakone again, we would love to stay here again. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time and unforgettable memories.

As we did last year, four of us stayed again for a birthday sleepover. The Facility was well designed with no unnecessary extras, and having a large public bath was fantastic. Because of light rain, we took taxis to and from Chinatown, which was very convenient. We also really enjoyed using screen mirroring on the TV. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, and all four of us were completely satisfied.

This was my first stay in 50 years since visiting with my family as a child. The main building, full of fond memories, was wonderful, and the views and facilities in the new wing where we stayed were excellent. We also enjoyed the delicious dishes made with local ingredients, making it a truly memorable summer getaway. It’s very far from home, but I hope to return someday.

From sweets and tea in the lounge to beer and wine at the restaurant, we enjoyed delicious offerings throughout the day. Everything was excellent, from the salads and sushi to the special menu item of scallop sashimi. Even though we were full, we also enjoyed the evening live performance. We would love to visit again.

I stayed for two days, and I was truly impressed by the staff’s kind and attentive service. I have stayed at many Hotels across Japan, but I was once again struck by the meticulous hospitality at Hotel Okura Kyoto. Throughout my stay, their genuine desire to help guests feel as comfortable as possible came through naturally in many situations. During my stay, I dined at the French restaurant on the 17th floor and also used room service; both the food quality and service were impeccable. More than just its Facilities or location, I feel that the staff’s hospitality itself is one of this Hotel’s greatest attractions. It was a Hotel where I would definitely like to stay again.

I stayed for three nights and was completely satisfied!! The Hotel was spotless throughout—bright, clean, and beautifully maintained. The front desk staff and housekeeping team were friendly and welcoming, which created a great atmosphere. The amenities were refined, and I was especially happy to have organic coffee. One small note: the complimentary mineral water in the Room refrigerator had to be picked up at the front desk from the second night onward. It would be even better if it could be placed in the Room during cleaning. The Room was bright and clean, with no odors in the bedding. I’m a bit particular about cleanliness, but there was nothing that bothered me here—I felt very comfortable. The bath area and changing room were also very clean, and the open-air bath was wonderful. The ReFa hair dryer and other amenities such as shampoo were great as well. I especially loved the post-bath lounge and terrace. I think this is one of the best Hotels in this price range. I already have a Reservation for next month. This time I had a Room with a view of Mt. Asama, and the sunrise was beautiful. I’d be happy if I could have a mountain-view Room again next month—can I request that? Thank you for a wonderful stay.

At this Hotel with wonderful interiors, I was able to relax in the Onsen, enjoy truly delicious vegan cuisine, and spend a very happy time. All of the staff were kind, helpful, and courteous—I was truly impressed. Next year, I’d love to stay for about a week and enjoy a slow summer vacation. It was such a lovely summer that it made me hope I could spend my retirement at a Hotel like this.

I visited Senkei again after a long time. This time it coincided with Silver Week, and I was able to book a Multiple Night Stay, making for a relaxing and very satisfying stay. In the lobby, colorful koi swim in the pond, and there is a lounge with complimentary drinks where you can unwind. The large public bath switches between men and women in the morning and evening, so you can enjoy both. At the breakfast buffet, you can also enjoy a mochi-pounding performance. I am also grateful for the proprietress’s thoughtful hospitality.

Conveniently located near Dogo Onsen Station, the view from the Room was great, with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Matsuyama Castle visible. The window glass had a pattern, so it would have been even better if it were completely clear. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sense of cleanliness. The large public bath on the top floor was also very relaxing, and I especially recommend the open-air bath! We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and there were many local dishes and unique items—everything was delicious. Dinner was a half-buffet, but we were very full, so I thought it would be nice to have a Plan with buffet only (it may already exist...). Also, I’d be happy if there were mandarin orange juice at breakfast! It was also great to have live piano music in the evening.

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. Because we were visiting DisneySea in midsummer with two young grandchildren, we entered the park at a relaxed pace with an After 5 ticket. I had hoped to have lunch at “La La Italiana” inside the Hotel, but it was fully booked even on a weekday, which showed how popular it is. Since I really wanted to try it, I made a Reservation for lunch the next day. We checked in at 3:00 PM and took a short break before heading to DisneySea. There were frequent shuttle buses from the Hotel to the park, which was very convenient. Being able to borrow a stroller also greatly reduced the burden of getting around with our suitcases, and it helped us a lot. The 56 m² Room felt spacious, and the view from the 19th floor was great. The bathroom had an outside view and there was also a separate shower room. Because we reserved a Room with ReFa products, one shower head was ReFa and the other could switch to a tornado-style water flow—both were comfortable to use. After returning from the park, it was also helpful that we could use the Onsen “Hohoemi-no-Yu,” where our family could bathe one after another without hassle. For breakfast, they prepared seating for us on the 22nd floor so we could enjoy the view while having delicious food. The menu ranged from classics to gentle options for early mornings such as seafood rice porridge, as well as dashi chazuke where you can top rice with items like mentaiko or shiokara and pour broth over it—everything was excellent. The other dishes were mildly seasoned too, and I was happy they also offered a limited-time acai smoothie. I visited La La Italiana—which I had wanted to try after reading Reviews—after breakfast hours when it still wasn’t very quiet inside, but every dish was delicious. The prosciutto in particular had a mild saltiness that suited my taste perfectly. It was also great to drizzle honey over their cream (made by combining fresh cream and butter) and spread it on moist focaccia. The homemade salad dressing was tasty as well, making this an overall highly satisfying meal. Overall, this is a great-value Hotel where everything—from Facilities and dining to service—felt comfortable, and our family truly enjoyed our stay.

This time, we were completely satisfied with the Room, meals, and staff. Last time, the front desk staff were unfriendly and I wondered what was going on, but this time both check-in and check-out were very pleasant. The meals were also delicious, and although it was the same attendant as last time, they were extremely considerate. Thank you very much!

Everything was wonderful as expected—the room, bath, facilities, meals, and service. The meals were elaborate Japanese cuisine and truly enjoyable. With its retro atmosphere and small number of rooms that kept it from feeling crowded, the inn was extremely comfortable and relaxing. The hospitality was, of course, excellent. The large public bath is a little on the small side, but there are plenty of private baths available and it never felt crowded, so it wasn’t an issue at all. Gero Onsen is quite far for us so it’s not easy to visit often, but this is an inn that makes you want to come back.

I was able to visit again for the first time in 20 years. From the warm welcome onward, the hospitality was outstanding. The food was just as delicious as ever, and I truly hope this authentic Japanese hospitality will continue for many years to come. I would love to visit again soon. We stayed with my mother to celebrate her 88th birthday, along with my wife and me. We had requested slightly smaller portions, and the meal was still more than satisfying—we were able to relax and enjoy it at a leisurely pace. As a surprise, the staff gave us a heartwarming celebration for her 88th birthday, and I’m truly grateful that I was able to show my appreciation as a child in such a meaningful way. Thank you very much for your thoughtful care for my mother, who has difficulty walking, especially during the transfers to and from the station and to our detached room. Lastly, when you said “Please come again,” I could accept those words sincerely. Thank you very much.
