This was my first time staying at Vischio, and choosing this property based on the Reviews was absolutely the right decision. It’s close to the station, the Room was clean, and the Onsen was spacious and spotless with everything I needed—perfect for relieving travel fatigue. Adding breakfast was also a great choice. There was a wide variety of dishes, and everything—from fruit to desserts—was very delicious. It’s not unnecessarily luxurious, but it’s modern, clean, and has everything you need, so it was a wonderful stay. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

It was my first stay, but this was a wonderful Hotel that felt warm and reassuring—like coming home. What impressed me most was the staff’s perfect sense of distance: refined, top-class service while still friendly, making the entire stay truly comfortable. The Room was also impeccably cleaned down to every detail—perfectly spotless wherever you looked. You can really feel how much the staff cherish this Hotel. The room service beef curry I had in the Room had an astonishing depth of flavor—absolutely outstanding! I was completely satisfied with every aspect of my stay: service, cleanliness, and food. I’ve found a special Hotel I can recommend with confidence. Thank you for such an amazing time that left both body and mind fulfilled. Without a doubt, this is a special place I’d love to make my regular Accommodation.

It was simply amazing!! I’ve stayed at many large Ryokan, and I was delighted to enjoy both the scenic-view baths and a variety of hot springs. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with more food than we could finish. Everything was truly delicious—thank you very much. The building had a classic, long-established feel, but the staff’s hospitality was outstanding. We stayed with our child and had a great time without ever getting bored, thanks to the pool, fishing, arcade, and play area. It made us want to come back again if we get the chance. We debated among several Accommodations on Awaji Island (including sister properties), but we’re congratulating ourselves for making a great choice with Hotel New Awaji.

The first Hotel in Japan to join Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). The highest level of comfort! They promptly accommodated a sudden Room change and provided wonderfully courteous service. Thank you very much. The same attendant as last time assisted us again, and everyone was delighted with the consistently excellent service. The Hotel’s atmosphere and the staff are always polite and kind—truly outstanding! We will definitely stay again.

It was the first time in a while that I was able to stay at a Hotel that exceeded its price. Everyone at the front desk was friendly, and the shared spaces were clean. The Room is compact but well cleaned, and I had no issues at all with any odors from the towels or pajamas, making it completely stress-free. The Facility was excellent. The location is outstanding, and I would like to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

This was my first stay, and I was completely satisfied with everything—the Room, spa treatments, baths, and meals! Since it’s all-inclusive, there were complimentary drink services in various areas, and it was wonderful to enjoy the café while soaking in the footbath. The amenities were well stocked, and perhaps because it was a weekday, the baths were almost private so I could relax at my own pace. There’s also a gym, making it an ideal Hotel stay. I’d love to stay again.

Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding—the best meals we’ve had at any place we’ve stayed. The mini concert was also wonderful, and our granddaughter was able to take part. The toilet and washbasin area felt a little inconvenient to use, but the air conditioning worked well and we were able to stay comfortably.

This was our first time staying here. We were very satisfied with everything, including the complimentary drinks, well-stocked amenities, the cleanliness of the Room, and all of the meals. The building itself is not new, but it preserves the charm of a traditional Ryokan—such as its Japanese garden—while the interior has been renovated for a comfortable stay. It was a memorable trip. Conveniently located near Dogo Onsen Station, the view from the Room was great, with Dogo Onsen Honkan and Matsuyama Castle visible. The window glass had a pattern, so it would have been even better if it were completely clear. The Room was clean and comfortable, with a nice sense of cleanliness. The large public bath on the top floor was also very relaxing, and I especially recommend the open-air bath! We used the buffet for both breakfast and dinner, and there were many local dishes and unique items—everything was delicious. Dinner was a half-buffet, but we were very full, so I thought it would be nice to have a Plan with buffet only (it may already exist...). Also, I’d be happy if there were mandarin orange juice at breakfast! It was also great to have live piano music in the evening.

It had been a while since I last visited my favorite Unpuufu. No matter when I come, the delicious cuisine, comfortable Room, and the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality always make for a truly satisfying one-night, two-day trip. On the way home, my friend and I happily chatted on the train back to Tokyo about when we should visit again! Thank you for a delicious and enjoyable stay!

This was my long-awaited trip to Huis Ten Bosch. I considered staying at one of the official Hotels inside the park, but chose this Hotel for its extensive Facilities, the large number of positive Reviews, and the reassurance of the Okura brand. Even before arriving at the main entrance by car, I was overwhelmed by the sheer scale of the building’s exterior. The stunning stepped atrium from the 1st to 3rd floors also set an exciting tone for a truly luxurious stay. The female bell staff member was exceptionally polite and kind, saying, “We’ll take your luggage up via a separate elevator, so please go ahead to your Room.” When I entered, there was an adorable teddy bear on the table by the window. The message card read, “Happy Birthday,” and since it was my birthday month, it was such a delightful surprise! She also wished me a happy birthday in person, which really moved me. From my Room we could see not only Huis Ten Bosch but also views out to open water—an amazing panorama. It was during the Obon holiday period so there must have been many guests staying, yet thanks to how spacious the Hotel is overall, it never felt crowded. Above all else, every staff member’s attentive service stood out. I’ve stayed at many Hotels and usually find something to complain about somewhere—but this time there wasn’t a single issue, and I enjoyed every moment in complete comfort. While this is clearly a Hotel designed with visits to Huis Ten Bosch in mind, once you cross the bridge there’s also a JR station (remarkably close to the waterfront), so on day two we took the train and went as far as Sasebo. It’s also very useful as a base for sightseeing in Nagasaki City or Sasebo. The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety with plenty of both Japanese and Western options—I ended up eating far too much. This was my first time visiting Nagasaki and Huis Ten Bosch, and it became an unforgettable trip full of wonderful memories. Next time I’d love to stay longer—this truly is an outstanding Hotel. My third visit in three years. Everything was wonderful, including the meals, the Onsen, and the room. The service level has not dropped at all since three years ago; if anything, the cuisine felt even more refined, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Dining while looking out over the fresh green garden and having coffee after the meal allowed me to spend a truly exceptional time that can only be experienced here. Thank you to all the staff.

I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and smiles of all the staff, as well as their clear and courteous explanations. The meals were absolutely delicious, and we were very satisfied. The riverside open-air bath was wonderfully soothing, and we were able to spend meaningful time with our family. Thank you very much. We would love to stay with you again someday.

We visited with my son’s family. Traveling with our 8-month-old baby, we had some concerns, but even though we made Reservations for two Rooms on different dates, the staff kindly arranged for us to dine together and showed thoughtful care in many situations, which made our stay truly enjoyable. Thank you very much—it became a wonderful memory. My son’s family also said they would like to come again, and we hope to visit again as well.

All the staff were friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. The Room was a bit small, but considering the price, it was good value and very clean. The only disappointment was that the bath did not seem to have continuously flowing water. As a minor note, the plastic bag for laundry was hidden under the hair dryer bag, so it took a little time to find it.

Although this is a historic Onsen Ryokan, the property is impeccably maintained throughout, and we felt thoughtful attention to detail and quality in every corner. Our family of four enjoyed a truly wonderful stay with dinner and breakfast included. Above all, the Room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with plenty of room for each of us to relax comfortably, while also being perfect for gathering together as a family to chat and enjoy tea and sweets. The in-room beverages were also well stocked—the coffee and tea were excellent—and of course the private open-air bath in the guest room was amazing. We had both dinner and breakfast in a private dining room. The staff member who took care of us was highly professional and kind; everything from the timing of each course to the explanations of every dish and overall service was flawless, allowing us to enjoy our meals comfortably from start to finish. And finally, the greatest highlight here is definitely the Onsen! There are many different types of baths on site—so many that we seriously discussed “the best order” to try them all (laughs)! We were so busy enjoying the Onsen that we didn’t have time to relax with drinks in the lounge. That just gives us an excuse to come back. In short, our family of four thoroughly enjoyed this stay with dinner and breakfast included. The Room, cuisine, service, and Onsen—all exceeded our expectations. This Accommodation comes highly recommended for anyone who loves hot springs or wants a relaxing time at an Onsen Ryokan. We would love to stay again!

On my first trip to Hiroshima, I stayed here first. The Room was clean, spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. All the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a wonderful trip. I would definitely like to stay at this Accommodation again.

Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.

As it was my first stay, you kindly picked me up at Tokyo Station and showed me to a beautifully clean, nicely chilled Room as much as three hours early. Every member of staff welcomed me with such warm smiles that, even in a luxurious space far from everyday life, I was able to spend a wonderfully comfortable day as if I were in my own Room. Breakfast was truly delicious, and on top of that, the delightful conversation with the cute female staff member who spoke languages fluently, along with the thoughtful attentiveness of the male staff member—never intrusive yet always considerate—made me linger longer than planned. I’ll work hard and will definitely stay again!
