Forest Hotel GEKKA

It was the best Hotel we’ve found, especially since there are so few Hotels that allow pets. The Room was spacious, the dog run Facility was excellent, and there was no pet odor at all—my dog seemed truly happy. The dog run combines natural grass and artificial turf, making it gentle on dogs’ paws. On top of that, the accommodation cost was affordable and breakfast was free—an outstanding Hotel in every way.

We stayed here after visiting Mikawa Move Valley for my daughter’s birthday trip. It seems to have been a former love hotel that has been beautifully renovated, and both the Room and the bathroom were very spacious and clean. The Room even had a sauna, so even with kids I was able to relax and enjoy a sauna for the first time in a while, which was wonderful. Thank you as well to the staff for your thoughtful consideration since it was her birthday. Breakfast was included free of charge and was filling, and it was also great that the drink bar could be used until midnight. If I had to mention one downside, it felt like the shower drainage in the large public bath wasn’t very good.
