Forest Hotel GEKKA

We stayed with three people and one dog. The Room was very spacious, and our dog could relax comfortably.There are five dog-only Rooms, and there was a dog run in front of the Rooms. Since the number of guests is limited, we rarely ran into other dogs, which made it easy to use.For dinner, we chose a Plan that included BBQ, and the staff kindly handled the most difficult part—starting the fire—which was a big help. We were also allowed to bring additional meat and other items, but unfortunately we didn’t know that in advance.The Onsen with an open-air bath was not crowded either, so we could unwind at a leisurely pace.Around the Hotel there are few lights at night, but after driving a few minutes we were able to see a sky full of stars.Having checkout at 11:00 was also great because it let us take our time.It’s a Hotel that made us want to visit again.

It was the best Hotel we’ve found, especially since there are so few Hotels that allow pets. The Room was spacious, the dog run Facility was excellent, and there was no pet odor at all—my dog seemed truly happy. The dog run combines natural grass and artificial turf, making it gentle on dogs’ paws. On top of that, the accommodation cost was affordable and breakfast was free—an outstanding Hotel in every way.
