Hotel Granview Ishigaki The First

Although our stay ended up being five nights including an extended stay due to a typhoon, we were able to spend the time very comfortably. The front desk staff took excellent care of us, and we sincerely appreciate your support. I have visited Ishigaki Island many times, but this was my first time staying at a Hotel near the port; the convenient access for visiting multiple nearby islands was wonderful, and I would love to stay with you again. There were also several international staff members, and their friendly service with warm smiles was truly pleasant and relaxing. Thank you very much.

The location was excellent—close to the remote island terminal and downtown, making it a perfect base for sightseeing. For this price range, the breakfast-included Plan felt like great value. Having a large public bath was also a big plus, as I could relax and soothe my tired body after daytime activities. The compact size was ideal for solo travelers or couples, and the desk and storage space were practical and easy to use.Nearby activities: The remote island terminal is within walking distance (2 minutes), making it convenient as a hub for island-hopping to Taketomi Island, Iriomote Island, Kohama Island, and more. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, and in the evening you can enjoy shopping at Euglena Mall or strolling around town. It’s an ideal starting point for exploring Ishigaki Island.Safety: The area has foot traffic at night and well-maintained street lighting, so even women walking alone felt relatively safe. The Hotel also has solid security measures such as auto-lock entry, allowing for a stay with good safety considerations.Walkability: With easy access to the remote island terminal and downtown areas, it was a location where dining and shopping could be done entirely on foot.This is an easy-to-use Hotel as a base for sightseeing.Food & drinks: The breakfast-included Plan was appealing—filling portions that really highlighted the great value.
